« Comfortable stay, food very enjoyable, with the heat AC would have been useful. »

Beeds comfortable. Shower very good. Dinner and breakfast enjoyable. Ideal lcation for trip to and from UK/Italy to break trip up. All in all indeal just missed AC which would have been good given the warm summer.

Well located, close to A26. Room was too hot. The room was fairly expensive and there should be air conditioning in this price range.

« We’ve stayed here several times »

Because we’ve stayed here several times it’s a convenient place to stay. However, this time we were a bit disappointed because there was no food available !! No chef/cook !! For a large hotel chain this is a bit below par when you’re catering for tourists, many of whom use it as a stopover for the ferry/tunnel. Better shift planning needed. Otherwise everything else was up to it’s usual high standards.

« One of the worst stays ever in an Ibis hotel »

The room was adequate but the meal in the restaurant was the worst meal We have ever had in France. My Guinea fowl was overcooked as were the fries, the plain burger ordered came with cheese, the pizza was so hard it was nearly edible. The peaches I ordered for dessert were so hard a knife wouldn't cut them and the caramel was burnt. The creme brûlée looked like a pancake and the texture of it was hard. A dreadful meal costing almost 70 euros.

« Disappointed restaurant closed »

Arriving Sunday night having driven 500 miles, the restaurant was closed. You advertise a restaurant and that is why I stay at this hotel. This is not the first time this has happened. Very disappointed.

« Pleasant »

The stay was fine. However, I am very disappointed in the on-line booking process. I logged-in as a member and made the reservation only to discover later that the automatic discount for members had not been applied. On contacting the Accor Hotel help desk they blamed the individual hotel for the error and not their web site. Basically they just shrugged their shoulders to a client who has been using their facilities for many years!

« A good hotel with all the facilities you would expect »

Stayed here a few years running. Hotel is in a good location for me, working on the nearby Industrial estate but is a little too far to walk into Cambrai. The Rooms were all updated a couple of years ago in a modern contemporary design. Good comfortable beds, modern flat screen TV, and WiFi that works well in the rooms. Restaurant is good, although the choice on the menu is limited.

We have stayed at the IBIS Cambrai many times, and enjoyed our stay.On the above date it was not to be.There was no restuarant and nothing set out.After travelling appro. 370 miles on our way home we were very disappointed and no one seemed to care.We have had a few letdowns at the IBIS at Compiegne is Cambrai going in the same direction.

Generally good as it is always has been. This time though one staff member hinted/insinuated at my beautiful Asian wife of call girl or racisim undertones. My wife was genuinely and unusually upset. I found it particularly surprising. My wife and I have been married 44 years. I will return to this hotel next year, But if it happens again, I will make a formal complaint.

Everything is fine about this place. My beautiful Asian wife and I (marrried for 44 years) have stayed here many times visiting our old French friend and his family. Only this time a single occurrence marred my normally good experience of this place. There was a definite hint or insinuation by one staff member of either some sort of call girl or racism. Maybe ignorance but not good. My wife was unusually upset. On another note try out the new O Navareno Portuguese restaurant next door, good value and great food.

I have sent at least 2 emails to ACCOR hotels with my complaint about my stay on 2nd June and have explained my dissatisfaction. They say they will respond, but they haven't. My "Case Number" is: WSFOLD 20…07501 In view of this I am most unlikely to use Ibis or any Accor hotels again and will not be recommending them. It doesn't help my confidence in you when you send an email saying I haven't responded to your request for feed back, and I am STILL waiting for a response and explanation.

The evening meal was a disappointment mainly because of the performance and attitude of the waiter he initially brought stale ,but changed this on request. We have stayed here before and probably will again we assume the waiter probably had a bad day

« cancelled my travel after first visit of the room »

The hotel is close to the highway and I was being welcomed by very friendly staff. Unfortunately I left the room & hotel after being 10 minutes in that room. There was a strange "smell" inside the room and due to a 3rd bed build up it was nearly no place at all. Due to the fact that I planned a 4 nights stay with working at night remotely on projects in the room I decided to immediately leave and find another hotel. However staff at the reception was very friendly and customer-orientated...

Fine. However we did not know the restaurant was closed on Sundays. Breakfast selection poor, bread scarce, croissants unavailable until I assume defrosted and only plain yoghurts for most of time in the dining room.

« bikers battlefield tour.. »

nicely located a good 45 to 1 hours walk from the centre of Cambrai, taxis seem scarce, very good rooms, clean etc, great breakfast with friendly, patient staff. secure parking, even though car park is shared with the F1 hotel next door. bar is limited, using large `soda streeam` type dispensers to supply 1664 (kronenbourg) and a local darker beer, not so good, they soon run out, bottles to back up with and a few spirits.
