We have stayed several times before on our journeys to and from the south of France to the north east of England. The hotel is convenient for the autoroute,the rooms are clean,beds comfortable,and the restaurant capable. The hotel is good value for money and we will certainly stay again.

« A pleasant stay for the Remembrance Centenary weekend. »

We had very pleasant rooms facing the quiet vista to the side of the hotel. The staff were friendly, and immediately helpful when we requested information about Cambrai and the local brewery. The restaurant was very nice and clean and the continental breakfast was very fresh.

We stayed as a couple on holiday and found the hotel very comfortable, clean and providing s good service. Car parking spaces were plentiful and well laid out. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower room. There was a wide range of choice of food and drinks for breakfast and a good service as there was always someone to assist and replenish tje buffet. The evening meals were of a very high standard. An excellent stay and we will return.

What a grotty hotel! When we arrived (in November), our room was cold and we had to ask the receptionist to turn on the heating. This was an electric wall mounted heater, as there was no central heating in bedrooms. The ensuite heater was a fan heater which turned off automatically after a minute, although the ensuite was so small that this hardly mattered. The TV had only one channel, a sports programme. When we complained about this, we were told that there was nothing that could be done – so much for the IBIS promise to fix any problem within 15 minutes. The room itself was quite small, with very little hanging space. It was on the first floor, and there was no lift. The restaurant was quite adequate – think of it as a slightly substandard campanile - although the breakfast was very good, and the receptionist filled our mugs with hot water on request.

Being British we are used to a more substantial Breakfast & most Hotels now have air con but apart from that the stay was value for money !!! The staff were all first class & represent the hotel perfectly !!!! Well done Team

« A comfortable and convenient stop-over »

An ideal location for our visit to the battlefield cemeteries in the region. The room was adequately equipped and comfortable, staff were extremely friendly and efficient, the breakfast buffet was very good. The lunch and evening menu were a little limited (only one vegetarian choice) but still good for a hotel of this calibre. Oiling some of the room door hinges would help keep noise levels down. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable stay.

« Good Stop-over »

We chose this hotel mainly for its location, close to the motorway and on the outskirts of Cambrai. It was very easy to find but, if you want to visit Cambrai be aware that the centre of town is a 5 minute drive from the hotel and not within walking distance. The hotel has a free outdoor carpark but the outside of the hotel is in need of a new coat of paint. We were dismayed when we checked in to find we had been given a first floor room. This should not be a problem but the hotel has no lift and access to the first floor is by a spiral staircase. Not ideal with a dog, his bed and our luggage. Full marks to a very kind and helpful receptionist who recognised the problem immediately and re-allocated us to a triple room on the ground floor. This was much bigger than a standard Ibis room and we spent a very comfortable night here. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant. There is an excellent Portuguese restaurant next door. Breakfast was standard Ibis.

« Good hotel - Inis chain needs to do more »

Positives were the staff; cleanliness; breakfast and comfort of bed. Negatives were lack of sockets to charge phones / iPads ; why only 1 bin? ; number of towels (no hand towel) only bath towels We will probably have to consider our options instead of going to Accor chain as our first selection. In UK IBis is not as good as Premier Inn / Travel lodge.

« good beds, except some loud noise at 6 am - kitchen? »

Would be great to have a kettle to make some tea before going to bed. That would really be luxury for us Brits. Even if other nations don't need it, I would love to have the choice of taking a tray to the bedroom. Love your breakfast!

My sat nav took us to the wrong hotel but luckily a local lady re-directed us.Friendly welcome and room close to front desk.Room clean as we expected and comfortable for a short stoppover.The only complaint was TV did`nt have BBC we keep finding CNN an american station so must assume they have hoards of Yanks as guests,and not many Brits.Bar was fine and food adequate.
