« A good hotel in a good location »

A good hotel in a good location near Montmartre and a metro station. A good breakfast (also gluten free bread available). No minibar (a small refrigerator) in the room. It would have been nice to have that, but otherwise the room was OK.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean and very pleasant. We had booked a double room in error and staff immediately advised us of this and arranged a move to a twin room. In easy walking distance of Mont matter and the metro.

« Budget hotel, good location but with problems »

We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of April. Location is very good, few minutes form two metro lines and loads of bussess. Plenty of restaurants around as well. First impressions of the hotel are ok, lobby is welcoming and modern. Check in ok, though I was not offered the welcome drink, which I am entitled to being Accor club silver member. We had a room on 6th floor, which can be accessed by 3 lifts. I asked for a room with a view and was given a room with a view of a cemetery. Luckily the window is so small, you hardly see it, unless you get close to the window. The room size is ok, bed is comfortable, although on a firmer side. The bathroom is ok, fitted with shower. Shower head holder was however faulty as it would not stay up. Bathroom door were also squeaky and this was even worse in some neighbouring rooms, as we could hear it loud and clear every time they opened/closed the doors. I brought it up to the reception's attention and response given was the there is no maintenance guy on site (it was Sunday). What is missing in the rooms is kettles and some more electrical sockets, as we only had two sockets by the window table, which quite often is not enough when you travel. We have booked the stay with breakfast and also 2 night's dinner. Breakfast are ok, typical buffet selection, but for what is cost it is worth taking, as you can eat what (and as much as) you like. Coffe is pretty good as well. This however cannot be said for the dinner service. Firstly the staff seem unaware of the fact that we have booked the dinners and what are we entitled to (deal was two course meal option from starter/main/dessert and free soft drink). Once they got it confirmed by the reception, we were given menu cards to chose from. It took over an hour before my wife was served her starter, which was a soup. To make matters worse, the soup was served in a jar, so how come it took them that long to heat it up, is beyond me! The main was no better. It was nerly 40 mins after the starter and it seemd like another ready meal. It was cold on top of that! My dessert was a cake served in a jar, again! Overall terrible. Next day when I decided to visit the reception and ask for cancellation of the second dinner, it turned out, that they slapped over 70 Euros onto our room bill - allegedly for the dinner last night. After prolonged explanation and involvement of another receptionist, she said she will take the matter with a manager next day, as there was none available at the time. In the end we did not get any refund for the unused second dinner, but upon checkout we were told that all been settled. I will take it up directly with Accor club as I think we should be refunded.

Regarding the view that has been proposed to you, the view of this maintained green space is appreciated by our customers in general because It's a known place in Paris where guided tours take place. I indicate in your stay preference to no longer offer you a room with this view. I immediately informed the technical service about the topics mentioned. About your dinner, I reported your return to our catering manager. I understand your feelings and I apologize for the wait you had. We had a lot of people this weekend at the bar because of the Paris Marathon, and even if it doesn't excuse the wait, rest assured that our teams have done their maximum to satisfy everyone. Regarding the refund, I just sent you an email to confirm you the refund of the dinners. Again, I apologize and I assure you that the experience does not reflect the quality of service we usually provide. We have at heart to welcome all our guests so that they feel at home. « Good value, good location. »

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at this hotel for the marathon. The hotel is clean, comfortable, ideally located and the staff are very friendly. For someone with a very, very basic understanding of the French language, it’s really helpful that all of the staff that I spoke to are fluent in English. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it if you’re on a budget.

very good apart from the towels were small and the room too warm. There are no brasseries open near hotel for breakfast so take the breakfast at the hotel which is good. the Gentleman at Reception was very helpful.

« Very enjoyable stay as per every other time. »

I thouroughly enjoy staing at your hotel. It is in a very conveneint location close to Rue Lepic where I enjoy shopping for food to take and share with family members that live close by. Also close to cafes at place de Clichy as well as Rue des Abbesses. The only criticism I have is the lack of a toilet brush in the bathroom. If I stay 3 days or more I buy one and leave it there. It is unfair on the cleaners to have to clean any marks.

I booked and paid in advance. When I arrived I was told I had to pay the full rate as apparently my card was rejected. Once I protested I was told to send a screenshot on my BANK statement! After hanging around i rang lastminute.com who said there was no issue!

About your booking via lastminute.com, there was a problem on their side as they included the tourist taxes. Excluding tourist taxes, according to the law pay at the hotel because we put them back to the state. Therefore it is a non-commissionable amount that's why your reservation was redone on site by my colleague in reception with the same rate. I am sorry for this misunderstanding with the lastminute site and I invite you to contact them. We refused the amount from lastminute.com on our side.
