« Terrible stay »

Blood in the bathroom on the wall, ceiling water damaged, ants in the bathroom, tiny loft that had no working lights and broke down half way through our stay which meant my elderly grandparents had to struggle with 6 flights of stairs. Lights in the not working, breakfast was poor, staff rude and intimidating. We asked for extra towels and they never arrived. Expensive drink prices (7€ for two bottles of water). Couldnt get in our rooms when we arrived and needed staff to come and attend. Hotel located in the middle of what appears to be the red light district of Paris - sex shops and sex shows surrounding hotel - not mentioned when booking. Air con in room didn’t work. Mattresses very thing and kept sliding off the bed frame. Overall a poor hotel which is a shame as previous Ibis hotels have been good.

Having stayed at the Ibis Paris Pere Lachaise just prior to my stay at Ibis Sacre Coeur, the difference was extremely noticeable. Pere Lachaise is SIGNIFICANTLY better. Sacre Coeur needs a facelift. The deadbolt on our door did not work and the bathroom had obviously been repaired recently, and poorly done. Most importantly, the air conditioning did not work properly. We were roasting! This is in direct contrast to Ibis Pere Lachaise, which was clean, bright, updated. The staff at both locations was friendly and courteous.

« Substandard quality, no service and utterly disappointing. »

my stay was of shock and horror. Firstly on check-in, the staff at the desk said she is off-duty and cannot check us in and we had to wait for the only other one staff member to return from the disposal of the garbage. The room quality was not of IBIS standard where I have stayed at many times all over the world. The bed was extremely uncomfortable where i had to remove the mattress and sleep on the floor. The bathroom was not maintained and the AIR CONDITIONING was not working. The nonworking A/C was complained off and I was informed this would be looked in to. Nothing was done and further reviews online show that this was complained about before. After two days the hot water did not work when I was in the shower and on informing the staff on duty who was sitting with a friend in the reception seating area, there was no apology or guarantee this was to be fixed. The breakfast was not stocked and the quality was shocking. Plates were not always available and the staff members were not helpful at all. I would suggest that IBIS and ACCOR remove itself from this hotel or do something about it. This hotel is a health hazard.

Total deception. In the hotel room the walls have fallen plaster.In the bathroom could not breathe with the smell of mold (rottenness ).The room he received had the bed cover used.In the cheese country you will receive a single cheese at breakfast. Ibis Sacre Coeur is not a 3 star hotel , you can name it HOSTEL, but you are offended the hostels in this case. I do not recommend this

Unfriendly staff that does not care about the guests needs. Customer service 0/10 The Aircon was not working in the room, when reported the answer was none of the A/C's are working in the hotel, Only few fans are available he said and they are being given to older people. Reception staff did not care about it really he simply said he did not have another solution for us and went back to typing on his computer. The night before our departure we asked if they would be able to book us a taxi to the airport, as we had to catch a flight early. The receptionist that night wrote it down and said it would be all booked. However when waiting in the morning for a taxi it did not show. When I asked the receptionist about it he called again only to be told there was not a driver for us available....there we were dissapointed and neglacted by this hotels staff once again. Very bad experience in this hotel. We are from Australia and are travelling around Europe, we will not be chosing Ibis again when booking our next hotels

« Once again, I used this hotel for personal convenience but the condition of the rooms is very poor. »

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel this year (luckily for only one night this time) and I found it to be ridiculously expensive for the standard of accommodation. This time the room was larger and higher up the building so I wasn't so annoyed by the people making a racket in the courtyard below, but in this room the drain on the shower was blocked so after a 2 minute shower the shower tray was overflowing and would have flooded the room if I had not turned the water off, although I had not really rinsed off the soap. The grout between the tiles was also black with mould. This hotel is badly in need of redecorating. Also, the weather was extremely hot and humid and apparently air conditioning has not been installed yet. The bed was however comfortable.

We were happy with the hotel...the room and bathroom were fairly basic but we had everything we needed. They definitely need to replace the air conditioners, as ours didn't get cold at all. Luckily we could just open the windows and stayed cool enough. Maybe some more supervision in the breakfast room...the couple next to us stole so much food and put it in their bag so there wasn't much left for the rest of us. But overall, we would stay here again!

« Hot weekend with a gorgeous view! »

We were pleasantly surprised with a view of the eiffel tower! We had the option to pay extra for it when we were booking our room, chose not to, but seemed to be lucky enough to get one! Everyone was nice, patient to deal with my broken French and ready to translate into English when I didn't understand. The room itself was clean and great, slippers and bathrobe were given to us and made it all extra comfortable! The only issue we ran in to was that the air conditioning didn't seem to be capable of handling the not so typical heat of Paris. The lowest setting still made it too hot in our room to sleep in, luckily opening the window after midnight was suficient enough to solve that. The elevators could be a bit bigger, but given that we were only carrying a backpack, we had no issues with getting our luggage up. This was our second stay at this place, we are most certainly considering a third one!

« A Terrible Experience after changing rooms 3 times »

We did not stay because the reception clerk could not find us a satisfactory room after changing rooms 3 times and ending back in the original unsatisfactory room. Very disappointing as we stayed st this hotel some years ago and had a satisfactory room. If Accor charges us on our American Express card, we will immediately protest the charge.
