The hotel is good, with a comfortable room and good breakfast, but it took very long to do the check in (there was only one atendant available at the moment), so I think they should give attention to that issue.

I had a 3 month stay at the Mercure Curitiba Golden Hotel. The food was great(breakfast and the dinner/lunch menu) , and while my first language is English, everyone was extremely helpful. More specific, my favorite thing was the woman that was assigned to keep my room. She did went above and beyond every time. She was cordial, friendly, and had a beautiful spirit. May God bless that woman. I would suggest that the company or the hotel offer second language courses to their employees...French, Spanish, English to go to the next level for a pleasant experience at the hotel.

I have lactose allergy and I asked a "tapioca" without cheese, as the served tapioca was with cheese. The cooker said it was not possible. I'm a frequent user of hotels, including ACCOR and never had a negative to my request, due to my allergy problems.

Last month I was luckier the room was renovated and cleaner, this time the room floor had dust bunnies, hair and mold in the shower walls. However the service is still great and the breakfast very satisfying.

Used to be a frequent guest at this hotel years ago. Coming back, I've got the hotel with some of the old problems (hot water distribution is something poor), but with new ones (a terrible wi-fi, quite useless...)

« Great breakfast, Good staff, but room not on Mercure´s standards »

For a weekend with Family it was ok, and special congratulations for breakfast. However, part of the room decoration and furniture were below Mercure´s standards. Appearance seems older than it is (I don´t know if a general reform is scheduled). Attention point: the room was doubled with stairs. The stairs and dangerous and require anti-slip bands.
