desk officer took the time to correct contact info in the system and to give me an "up-grade"to one of the new, renovated rooms. Free coffee was an absolute bonbus - when you have to leave 05.00 h in the morning.

Very clean airport hotel, stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean, comfortable bed,friendly staff and very good breakfast with fresh orange juice. Efficient shuttle service from and to the airport. Will stay again! Keep up the good job!

I setup maximum temperature but the display says it was 24 but the feeling was 18. So I had to sleep with a lot of clothes to feel warmer, not very comfortable.

It took time to do the check in since there was a problem with the booking I did through booking.com but everything was explained to me so it was fine. Staff Jessyka was so kind and helpful, thankful to her as well for the birthday f Treat for my Mom. Thanks to the manager as well. The room was so clean! The hotel is just approx 3mins walk to the bus station where you can just take one bus to the city. 6euro per way and approx 20-25min travel time. Thank you, Ibis! Will definitely come back

I really enjoyed my room. I was traveling alone and it was plenty large enough for one person. There was a machine with hot chocolate, tea, and coffee outside my room. So i got very cozy with some hot chocolate and watched a movie in the comfort of my room!

« Bed was comfortable and people were nice but some bedding was dirty in the two rooms we had. »

It was nice to have a comfortable bed when we arrived because we were tired from traveling so long but we discovered that some of the bedding was dirty in each of the rooms we had and there were only bath towels, nothing to wipe hands on after washing up, etc. We did not approach anyone at the counter because we were too tired to hassle with it.

When arriving at the reception, the clerk was complaining about booking.com. This is irrelevant for us as gold members. The clerk tried first to sell an upgrade and after some further clarification from our side again about being a gold member he needed to check and finally confirmed another room. Which we highly appreciate. However during the night, a dirty smell from the bathroom sewage entered our room. This was awful and we informed staff in the early morning at check out. Ms Marleen Egberink duty manager on call apologized. Unfortunately we already paid and she promised to contact us for possible compensation. Until now several days ahead no communication.

We stayed for one night, before flying home. We were very pleased with the hotel, transport links were great and there is a bus station across the road. We got the bus into Amsterdam, which was quick and efficient and were able to get a bus back to the hotel at 11pm (be warned, they don't take cash payments!). The hotel was big with lots of facilities, including snack bars and lounge areas, even a fitness suite. We were nicely surprised to find we had a lovely view of a pond and trees from our room, which was lovely. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Our only gripe was the shuttle bus from the airport. On the website it is advertised that the buses are every 15-30 mins, but we had just missed one and the next was in 45 minutes time according to the timetable at the bus stop. We ended up having to wait an hour by the time everyone had got on, and we would have been better getting the public bus to the bus station across the road from the hotel. The bus back to the airport in the morning left on time and was quick.

« Payment issue And finding room »

Hotel claim that payment is not done yet when we do the check in and ask to do the payment, but after re-check 3 times it confirm already paid. My voucher clearly said include breakfast but we doesn't get breakfast (maybe agent issue or hotel i don't know). But as the first issue happened is hard to believe that this happened due to miscommunication agent and hotel. Its hard to find a room in floor 2D, because there is no direction to that floor.

People at breakfast were rude.. Very rude. Also we were staying at sweet wingers, there was as a machine for coffee and water. Suddenly water machine disappeared, we ask for the water to be back, but they were ignoring me... FOR 3 DAYS... Never again there.

I arrived in the early hours in a cold rainy day. The shuttle from the airport was easy to find and very fast. The ladies at the front desk ( I can’t recall the name, but I believe Maral .., sorry ) was very kind. She offered a Couple of options and I was able to check in right away. The room design is awesome, fun and very clean space. I love how environmentally friendly the entire property is. Cozy lobby, free tea and coffee made the cold day very pleasant. The hotel is located near a big bus station and you get to the centrum in 20 minutes. The front desk gave me suggestions where to explore as I had only 7 hours. Very quiet and safe hotel. I will definitely stay here again ! Thank you.

In the past we have stayed at Ibis' in many countries, however this Ibis was different as it seemed to house every sort of low-brow from various places all over the world. People disregarding the basic manners that allow us to all cohabit this earth. Designated smoking tents were available but strongly disregarded by many of the guests at this Ibis. The front entrance was always crowded with smokers who feel obligated to blow smoke in the face of one and all. The entrance smelled like a cigarette factory. The staff was young and unable to control the situation. Staff also appeared to be impatient to most guests at the front entrance desks. The hallways throughout the hotel were carpet and clearly filthy day and night. Prices for basic needs such as water are way over priced bordering ridiculous. I've been to 36 countries throughout the world and probably the Netherlands at least 5 times...I am blessed and I have never wrote a single bad word about any other place of temporary residence until now. In a nutshell I will say the staff was unprofessional and immature. I guess also what I have to say will probably go unheard as the Ibis in Amsterdam will continue to fill up as Amsterdam is a huge tourist destination and the location of the Ibis in question is fairly close to the airport and easy access the the downtown area. Have a nice life we will not stay at any Ibis again.

At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Hereby I like to inform that within a few weeks we will start with a renovation of a large number of our rooms and corridors and also the lobby and the 4th floor where the restaurants are situated will be renovated. Regarding the smoking outside. We have tried already many possibilities for the guest where to smoke outside, there are many non smoking signs in front of the hotel and large signs which indicate where the smoking area is but unfortunately people still do not respect the non smoking people. And I do understand that when you arrive at the hotel in a cloud of smoke is not nice. We keep on trying our utmost best to find the right solution and probably next year smoking will forbidden everywhere outside on the street so there will be no problem anymore. Sorry also to read that you will not stay at any Ibis anymore otherwise I would have offer you a compensation for the inconvenience.
