Fast and welcome check in and check out. Although there were many passengers from a delay flight, they were assigned a different area. My room was in a quiet area, with free coffee/tea/fruit water available. Good size, modern decorated bedroom with full bathroom. I pre-ordered veggie dinner option, which was on time on a very nice international cuisine restaurant. The dinner service was high Level. Breakfast included a wide variety of options, including local food, fresh vegetables and fresh orange Juice, which is great before taking a very long flight. I highly recommend this hotel.

« Expensive for the location »

It is not in a walking distance from the airport, as in other airports, so moving from the airport and back with the free shuttle is around 20mins drive. The hotel was good, clean and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was fine too. One small detail was that the wc ventilation was noisy working 24/7 without a switch to turn it off, and although i informed the reception they did nothing.

I paid just short of 250 Euro per night to stay in this hotel. It was a very, very cramped room with few, poor facilities and not close to the location specified. The hotel is described as Ibis Schipol, and yet it took me 25 minutes on a bus heading in a straight line to get there from the airport. The in-room facilities were extremely poor, with the exception of an actually very comfortable bed, and a warm and powerful shower (which coupled with the friendly and helpful staff are the only reason this hotel isn't getting a score of 1). I do not have long hair, and yet the hairdryer still required from me about 10 minutes to dry my hair. The "designer" soap, shower gel and shampoo were all the same liquid. I don't think I would use soap to wash my hair at home given any choice. The hotels location was about a 5 minute walk from a small bus depot, but aside from that there was nothing at all in the area that offered any service to a customer. Frankly I have stayed in nicer places for less than a fifth of the price and would absolutely not recommend this hotel at all.

the rooms are very minimalist, with not very friendly interior. One of the neighbors was extremely noisy on the phone, hotel management has solved it bu it took a lot of time and was not really offered another room...

This time I stayed for two, so I was able to experience other areas of the hotel other than just the room and the shuttle. I went to the gym and to the restaurant for continental breakfast. I found both very satisfying. The gym is small but very efficient. The breakfast has a good variety of foods. I love the corner in the Sweet Wing where I could find coffee and tea at any time of the day. I appreciate that the area is well provided and clean. The rest was, as usual; the bed is comfortable and the desk service is fast.

Got upgraded to a street wing. It was a noisy outside so could hear everything. The burger bar was good value for what you are getting. They should increase frequency of hand washing especially if you are handling money and preparing food

All good, staff were very nice and room was clean. The bar was not so great, as the glasses were not clean and it was cash only as the till broke.

« Don't check-in online if you wish to spare time »

This was the first time that I checked in online with the hope that it would be fast but no it wasn't. Only 1 person to welcome you at the dedicated counter when there were 4 employees for the standard check-in. Result : 20 minutes to check in. In fact standard check-in was way much faster... In addition, impossible to use the room number to charge the dinner so I had to go back to the room and take the credit card. Conclusion, this is the one and only time that I checked in online.

Checked in and found door to room was actually open. After dinner key didn't work in door and I was told I 'must have swapped my key with someone else at the bar' -which I hadn't. After dinner in the restaurant the waiter asked if I wanted to charge to my room I said yes and signed the receipt. On returning to my room the phone was ringing and it was the restaurant telling my I couldn't charge to my room and would have to go back up to level 5 to pay the bill. The room had three beds rammed together meaning you couldn't actually get into any of the beds. Colleague staying in another room said it stunk and it did. Another colleague was charged twice for breakfast. Wont be going back!
