it highly surprised me that I was confrontated with parking costs, while I showed my membercard. Previously me was told that parking for members is free, and I already booked before these rule changed. I was not informed about that otherwise I might have booked an other hotel. I am now seriously thinking about that since I can understand the change of rules, but not that I was not told before. The bathroom was not ok, it was stinking, I already told the hotel. The rest was ok

When you book a room directly at our hotel or on our own booking channels (ibis-tilburg.nl or ibis.com) you get free parking. When you use other booking channels you pay €7,50,- per night. In the past the parking was also free for all the Le club Accor members. The next time you would like to stay with us, I advise you to book directly on our own booking channels with your membership to get 5% discount. I’m sorry to read that the smell in the bathroom wasn’t satisfying.. I have directly instruced our technical department to check the bathroom. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience it may have couched. Room and breakfast was ok, no complaints. Compared to my last stay 8 weeks before, front desk staff seemed a bit incapable, unfocused and overstrained.

My neighbours were afwul, banging on the walls throughout the night, moving furniture, yelling, going at it like rabbits. Your night manager asked them to tone it down a notch. That helped for about 15 mins. The walls felt like cartboard and the box spring beds resonated the sound coming from the other room. I was not happy at all. That being said; your night manager was wonderful and your staff is always lovely.

All our rooms are renovated this year and we have now the last version of the ibis rooms, we are very proud of the results. The rooms are not large, also an ibis standard but you do have everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. Nice to read that you noticed this. It is good to read that you recommend our breakfast. Every weekday our breakfast is ready from 6:30 am till 10 am. In the weekends we understand that our guest want to wake up a little later, therefor the breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is from 7 am till 11 am. i will share your feedback on the floor of the breakfast with ouroperations manager, he will make sure this will not happen again. I will share your review with the staff and especially with the bar team, this will certainly motivate them and us all to keep up the good work. Day1: bad smell in the bathroom; Calling from the reception but nobody replies Day2: Find that only towels are replaced and the duvet is tucked in the bed, no cleaning for the floor. Day3: Sinterklaas chocolate, I actually liked it Day5: Waking up service doesn't work, which didn't surprise me at all. Because previous night I told the stuff (6th of December) to wake me up at 7.30, she wrote the wake-up time done on a piece of paper, instead of entering it directly into the system, which didn't give the guest too much confidence. Check out: It was a disaster. The stuff at the reception is extremely impatient when I check out. When I asked her to put my company name under the "company name", I was told that it is too long (which apparently happens the first time to me, but fine). Then I asked the staff to put the company name in the company address part, but she continued saying "too long for that" as if I didn't understand what she has told me. After explaining the difference between the company name and company address, she put gGmbh instead of "gGmbH" despite that I emphasized the capital H instead of small h. I am not sure whether you teach your staff how to write GmbH correctly in your training program, but I think this should be a common knowledge to all your staff who might be dealing with company names from customers.

We are very sorry to read that the smell in your bathroom wasn’t good, I have directly instructed our technical department to check the bathroom. We have 24 hours reception and there is always someone at the front desk to help you, we are very sorry that nobody picked up the phone. Because of your review about the wake-up call and your phone call, we have checked all the phones on the rooms and it seems there is a general problem with the phones. We are very sorry that we didn’t know about this problem and that we did not provide you the correct service. Please except our apologies and thank you for sharing this information. With this information we can solve the problem directly and prevent this from happening again. We always change the blankets on the third day of your stay, this is our procedure. Were your blankets changed on the third day? You can always ask the reception if you would like to have clean blankets on your second day, we can arrange this for you. The floor will be vacuumed every day, I have shared this with our housekeeping manager, she will talk with her team about this. I’m glad to read that you liked the dutch ‘Sinterklaas’ tradition and hopefully you enjoyed the chocolate letter. It is very unfortunate to read that had a bad experience at the check-out, Your experience certainly does not in any way represent the quality of standards we strive for. Do you have a correct invoice now? If you want I can send you an invoice with the right company details. I have shared the incident with the reception supervisor and she will give the employee extra training on this. We appreciate your feedback and it is our hope that we may welcome you again in the near future to provide a better service for you. « After renovation, the hotel is less confortable »

The hotel has been recently refurbished and now the handicapped friendly rooms are not handicapped friendly anymore more exactly the bathroom which used to be very convenient is now impossible to access with a wheelchair. So for us it is the last time at Ibis Tilbur.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Officially the room you’ve booked are rooms that are made for ‘less disabled people’. The rooms are bigger than all other rooms and has disabled facilities in the bathroom like handles. Before the renovation the classification of the bathroom and room were different, that would’ve make it more comfortable for people in a wheelchair than our normal rooms. The maximum size in the bathroom now is 70 centimeters and this is not accessible for a wheelchair anymore. I am very sorry that my colleague didn’t informed you about this. I have spoken with my colleague who has made your reservation and checked you in. They have learned from this and they are very sorry that this bothered your stay. We appreciate that you are sharing your concerns with us, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you better in the near future.
