the staff are extremely friendly and polite at reception and in the restaurant, we ate twice in the restaurant and both times it was excellent. Although we didn't book one of the refurbished rooms we were giving one and it was fantastic

« Room too small »

2 adults and 1 child in a double room. Put up bed for child. Using this space for a bed meant that we had very limited access to hanging space. Was not impressed with this as the space was very small anyway. No drawers. A couple of small shelves and hanging space for about 6 items. We stayed in this room before it was refurbished (just 2 of us then) and had much more room. Sliding toilet door was a nightmare in the middle of the night. You can actually hear someone breathing when its occupied. The rooms looks very nice now. Reception did offer us a disabled room but as we had unpacked we declined. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast not very hot or not much choice. Have stayed here a couple of times and would probably return

Very well kept and presented hotel throughout incl bar ;reception and recently refurbished bedrooms all complimented by friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast and drink selection to make families comfortable. Close to city centre and all local tourist spots such as Efteling and beekse Bergen.

The room was clean and the staff friendly but the nonsmoking room smelt strongly of cigar and guests leant against the door and chatted loudly late at night.

It was nice as usual but I think ibis is leaving out the culture by having a kettle with tea and 2 sachets of coffee in the room which I had in my room the last time I stay in the hotel.

As usual, we have spent a really nice moment in this hotel. People were very kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. Really good price for the service. The hotel is well located if you are in a business trip. If you are visiting like us, it is not closed to the center (car/bike is needed). That is why, for the dinner, we have tried the restaurant of the hotel. Food was good.

« Workmen starting work at 7am outside our room »

Last Fri morning at 8am we were awoken by workmen hammering and drilling in the room next door or above us on the roof. The weekend was fine but again on Monday morning, they were at it again even earlier at 7am. Considering that we didn't get back to our room til at least 3am, this isn't really acceptable. We were pre warned about the building work but were assured this wouldn't start til at least 9am. We mentioned this to the receptionist upon checking out and she didn't think the workmen were due to start until at least 12pm. Not very happy about the lack of sleep we were able to enjoy I look forward to your reply Cheers Dave I.

« Stay was okay, friendly staff but a severe smell of smoke in room »

We only stayed one night in the IBIS hotel in Tilburg. The personnel at the check-in was very friendly and we were able to park our car at the hotel parking. Just too bad that there was a severe smell of smoke in our room!

All as expected. I really liked that you are actually doing something to help stop the global warming. You are actually thinking green and in reducing CO2. This is some great ideas and this made a great impression to me. The cleaning and room quality was perfect. All in all - a great stay.

« comfortable but not well cleaned and noisy »

I only stayed for the one night. I arrived late and went to sleep soon, but it was rather noisy inside the hotel amd outside. It was carnaval saturday but there did not appear to be a party going on, but loud shouting beyond midnight. The cleaning of the bathroom had not been good as quite many dark hairs were on the bath and floor.

We are sorry to read that you experienced discomfort from the noise made by other guest. You stayed with us during a local event, Carnaval witch attracts many guest from outside Tilburg. Our night porter asks every one that arrives to keep in mind that other guest are sleeping, unfortunately the did not act to this.
