This hotel is not only old but extremely badly maintained. The cleanliness is unbelievable bad for this kind of small hotels . Your ugly environment outside immediately seen when you arrive on the parking. I can understand that you may want to cut cost but , I suggest you increase a little price per room and invest on the renovation of your hotel. Will never go back nor tell someone to do so. By the way , the breakfast was not bad.

« Nice basic hotel »

Hotel was nice although basic. More like I expected from an ibis budget. Staff were functional (wouldnt go as far as friendly. Staff member's badge had an English flag, although he flatly refused to speak engage in english, and seemed unimpressed with our french). Room was clean, although basic. Nice family room. Car park was a decent size. Location for visiting vicomte chateau was great. Lack of an elevator was the biggest disappointment.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. Rooms are really outdated and even if they are clean, they look really dirty.

« I was unable to communicate to the staff in English and finished up with a double booking. »

I booked online with booking.com. A problem with the web browser resulted in the booking for the wrong date. Booking.com informed the hotel and I also tried to speak by telephone but the staff were not prepared to assist. I then made a second booking on the Accor website. I, therefore, paid twice for a one night stay. I believe bookings.com did their best to help me. Sadly I can't say the same for the Accor staff. I would like to see this matter resolved - and I have a page print from the screen where the booking date error was made. I suspect something to do with 'refreshing the browser'. Anyway my problem could have been fixed in a few minutes had someone other than bookings.com taken an interest. I travel for work. I shall now consider very carefully where I stay on my next visit to Paris. If some reads this maybe they could contact me with some old fashioned 'customer service' Thanks

« We were happy with our room, the bed, the breakfast but not happy with the concierge booking a cab »

We found the room fine and the bedding was comfortable. The toilet could have been a little cleaner as there were stains at the back but this could have been caused by the water. The concierge who greeted us upon our arrival was very pleasant and helpful and told us her colleague in the evening would book us a cab to take us to the nearby chateau. This evening concierge organised a cab to take us and bring us back from our destination. The cost however was double the normal Saturday rate of 10 Euros - we were charged 20 Euros and 29 Euros on our return. We complained to the concierge and he said this was normal. We checked later and it is double the rate that is set by the taxi companies. He could not give us an explanation for this except to say Melun is very expensive. This is much more than we have been charged ever for this short distance in Paris!!

Need a refurbishment. Hotel is very old, floor and bathroom quite dirty. Bed is confy enough. The restaurant is good quality and fast service. I had asked for a quiet room but got a room facing the main road even with my gold status.

Wina, Alice and the other lady at the desk are soo helpful n kind. Giving attention either at the restaurant or throu our stay. The hotel is old but clean. Need some modern refreshment.

The room was acceptable and breakfast okay, but we had terrible neighbours. A wedding party seemed to be staying in the hotel and spent the night banging doors and running from room to room.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are on 2 floors however there is no lift only a rather steep staircase. This would be a problem for people with mobility problems. Fortunately the receptionist was very kind and put me in a ground floor room.

This hotel is in dire need of an update. Everything appears worn. I had a much better stay the night before at Ibis Mulhouse Ile de Napoleon. The rooms and hall carpets have holes, the bathroom floor and tiles look old, under the bed had not been cleaned, there was still an empty bottle from a previous guest.
