Staff are always friendly and helpful, but I only gave 8 instead of 10 stars because I don't think the air conditioning in the rooms is efficient enough. Its ok during the morning, but after a day of hot weather, by the evening the air conditioning could not cope and the temp was just to high to enable a comfortable nights sleep, despite turning the control down to its minimum setting. Also my wife and myself think the beds are to firm. When I needed to be fresh and rested for a long drive to come, I felt tired before my journey started.

Ideal location for a stopover if heading to South of France. Convenient to motorway and a restaurant very near. In house bar serving beer .wines etc and a restricted food menu is available. Very large car park allowing for easy parking . Staff very friendly and helpful. Did speak English if needed !

The hotel was as expected and the staff very friendly and helpful. I had recently been upgraded to Silver Status and was given a drinks voucher on arrival, however I was very disappointed when later I ordered a beer and a small shandy for my Wife that it only covered one drink, and then only a beer or soft drink. Also we were told on the booking we would have the new “sweet bed” but on arrival in the room it was the same as we’d stayed in before.

« Definitely not a one night stand.. »

So very convenient as it is literally just off the Motorway; with very friendly staff, an extremely comfortable bed, AC which worked without creating a din, and I really like the USB slot incorporated to the electrical socket. So much easier to charge my Android. Breakfast was ok, although the coffee was rather weak. But the evening buffet [it was Sunday ] left something to be desired with overcooked fish and a very bland chilli con carne as the main course choices. Overall I would certainly return as a it is a good stop on the journey.

« Clean and quiet hotel, but too small room and average breakfast »

Good stay, nice welcome, clean and quiet room. Room was too small in my view, nearly no place to stow cloths and to walk around the bed. Only 1 towel per person in the bath room. Breakfast could be improved.

Very happy with the room and the help and attention of the reception but disappointed to find out on arrival that the restaurant is closed at weekends However the voucher for the Courte Paille restaurant next door with a 15% off voucher did help

« Bad experience. Scalded in shower »

We choose Ibis hotels because the beds and pillows are comfortable and because we are guaranteed a good night’s sleep. On this visit, the same applied. But I had an appalling and frightening experience when having a shower in the morning. It took a very long time to get the correct temperature. Even with the lever in the middle, the water was either very cold or very hot. Finally I got it right and was washing myself. But then suddenly the water temperature changed and the water was boiling. Luckily I am fit and healthy and jumped out of the shower very quickly but it could easily have seriously scalded me. I dread to think what could have happened if it had been an older person or a child.

We had to take a last minute stay at the hotel due to a flight diversion and we were totally satisfied. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was the usual Ibis clean standard. Despite being near the highway the hotel room was quiet. Well done Ibis Limoges Nord
