The hotel is conveniently located near a motorway. It is fine for a quick sleep when traveling further. The hotel service was friendly, we also appreciated the secured parking outside and a good breakfast. Unfortunately the rooms are not pleasant - feel old and cramped. I am also not sure about the cleanliness. Luckily we only stayed in the room from midnight to 8am.

I checked in late and was greeted by a very courteous and helpful receptionist. On checking my room I noticed a fault with the A/C. I return to reception and was immediately given another room. This took moments and late at night after a long journey was much appreciated The morning team was also very polite and helpful.

Good service but very outdated rooms

Good breakfast and efficient service let down by the room (41) which was extremely out of date compared to other hotels. Old style decorations, bathroom substandard. Bathroom sink had cigarette burn on it, bath was chipped and stained, shower curtain yellowing, toilet old and stained, stains on the walls. Furniture in the room was outdated and damaged. Bed was ok and clean. I decided not to walk around barefoot in the room as I felt that the carpet was not sufficiently clean. Apart from the bed, the whole space felt grubby.

I’ve stayed here several times on my way to skiing driving down from the UK. The receptionist was very helpful and changed us to a family room for 10 Euro as there was only one child with us. In the past the reception staff were nowhere near as helpful.

Arrived at the hotel in good time and checked in. Room was fine but having been in the room for about half an hour we discovered that the toilet was running continuously and wouldn't flush. Reported this to reception and we were allocated another room. Fine - except that the room stank of cigarette smoke. Reported this to reception as we were going out that evening and the young man at reception said he would put an air purifier in the room whilst we were out. This worked well as, on entering the room later we could not detect any cigarette smell. However, once in bed it was noticeable that the cigarette smell still lingered - presumably in the bedding, mattress etc. We reported this to the member of staff at reception as we checked out who stated that people smoked in the rooms despite there being a no smoking policy. I got the impression that whilst they knew that some people smoked in their rooms, there was nothing the staff could do about it. Overall, the staff were very polite and helpful but I got the impression that they were fighting a losing battle when it came to persistent smokers.

We chose the hotel mainly because of location convenient for our travel but have to admit that room was very small and not at the standard of Ibis we are used to for 2 people. Room was a bit noisy and basic furniture. We were kindly surprised by breakfast service not only with variety but also very good quality of food which is very important :)
