An older Hotel, recently refurbished, was comfortable but with rather cramped rooms, due to the over large size of the bed. Being in a quiet location was a bonus, although it made finding the location rather difficult. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, although the management of the same Restaurant in the evening was chaotic with potential guests left uninformed of likely lack of service due to prior booking of 2 coach parties making the likelihood of getting a meal virtually impossible due to the lack of any other choices nearby. Although a great meal was enjoyed elsewhere involving a car journey to get there.

That's the reason why we always advise individual clients that the service might be long. We also propose to eat elsewhere. When we were checking we had not left or dropped anything upon leaving the hotel to take the ferry to England, we looked under the bed and discovered a womens sanitary pad wrapper under the bed! We had enjoyed a very good meal in the restaurant the night before but we left feeling that we had spent the night in a room that had not been cleaned. Very disappointing!

Our late arrival was not a problem and we felt welcome. Thank you for the very much appreciated welcome drink. The room was perfect, all beds were made and we (and the children) had a great sleep. Our room and shower room were small but very well designed - many more expensive hotels could learn something here! The breakfast was excellent, not an enormous range but everything of good quality and well presented. Full marks to the hotel staff and management.

Easy to find direction signs. Pleasant and comfortable bedroom. Good evening meal a la carte and good breakfast. A map showing route through the roads to the D515 would have been helpful. Ants wandered on a route by the bathroom door - Not a problem for us, but some people might not be happy.

Stayed here prior to morning ferry home. Check in good, room comfortable. Evening meal in hotel was disappointing. We enjoyed a pre meal drink on the terrace then took our seats in the restaurant about 20.30. Only two other tables were occupied. Many of the dishes on the menu were not available for some reason. That aside what we did order was well cooked and we enjoyed. However what we then observed seemed quite bizarre for an Ibis hotel. Numerous guest looked to eat between 21.00 and 21.30 but were told that food was finished, despite the restaurant being advertised as open until 22.00. We found this very strange. However, our stay was fine in general.

weather was very hot but the room did not benefit from air-conditioning, opening the window is the only option for cooler air during the night but the road noise from the nearby periferique is constant throughout the night so restful sleep is almost impossible
