The hotel was easy to find and the view from the room at the front of the hotel was excellent. The staff were efficient and helpful and the room was, as expected, clean. The downside was that most of the restaurants in Boulogne were closed as it was market day and sunday.

« A very friendly welcome »

We received a very friendly welcome and service throughout our stay. It was pleasant to have a bar and a place to relax. The underground parking was very useful. Room a little small, however it had been refurbished throughout and was clean. The bed, as always with Ibis hotels was very comfortable.

Everything was good except for the big problem of people sitting on the step at the hotel entrance smoking.Everytime they move around the automatic doors open and the smoke comes into the hotel. Also it looks dreadful and when guests arrive at the entrance they have to negotiate through people on the steps smoking.At one point there were about 10 people outside.We mentioned it to a member of staff who said that there was nothing they could do because the guests were outside.A smoking shelter should be provided away from tht entrance.

i liked the reception area and the staff. The games area was tremendous. i always think that with British customers you should have a more original draught beer selection. there are now a lot of micro brasseries in France and in the Boulogne area - you should promote these.

« Terrible »

My wife is disabled and a wheelchair user. No access to and from garage. Several steps from pavement into hotel. What is the point of having accessible rooms if you cannot get into the hotel? Rooms cramped, bathroom like the black hole of Calcutta! Couldn't see to shave properly. One of the worst hotels we have stayed at!

Access from car park up several steps. Several steps up to door of hotel. So there is some difficulty for people with limited mobility. There is a lift from the underground car park to the hotel, but there are no signs to indicate this. Room clean. Staff helpful. Bill was not correctly calculated. There was an attempt to charge me at check-out for a meal where I had paid at the end of the meal. I do not know what would have happened if I had not kept the receipt.

Very efficient check in and the room was clean and comfortable. We liked the new combined check in and bar area also the improvements to the restaurant. The lounge area was also very comfortable, although the wall decor was garish and infintile.
