« Decent airport hotel but nothing more »

Room at end of corridor with some noise from outside parking lot, a weird smell of sewage or something in the room, fairly compact room. Cleanliness was ok but carpet needs a good deep clean. Be aware that one small bottle of water costs 4 euros which is very pricey. Room price of around 60+ is also steep for what it is and breakfast is 9.90 per person. Not much around the hotel except a few other airport hotels. Free airport shuttle is a great feature.

« Great location secured free parking contemporary hotel and newer rooms »

The rooms were small but compensated by the neatness and cleanliness. The hotel is a few min from Bordeaux Airport and surrounded by several restaurant. The staff was friendly and spoke English.

« Small room and the TV did not have the English channels advertised. Reception refused the 15 minute guarantee »

You advertise three English language channels on the TV. There were none. When I asked reception, she said she would call a technician. After 1 hour I had received no feedback and asked again at reception. They denied all knowledge of the issue. When I pointed out your promise to resolve problems within 15 minutes or the customer would be refunded she just laughed and said that this problem did not count! Why do you advertise English language channels when you do not have them? Why do you refuse to honour your 15 minute guarantee? I demand a refund of the price paid and the points used in my booking.

« What an experience »

Rude and surly reception staff. Shrugging of shoulders hands thrown in air and walking off. No air conditioning in rooms - all turned off in the hotel and then decided that it should be turned back on after my request for an air conditioned room. No UK TV channels when literature in room says they have 3 channels. Overall a very disappointing stay and would warn people in advance if they are intending to stay at this Ibis hotel. Not good.

Very convenient to stay here. They have a shuttle to the airport. Delightful service. Breakfast was very complete - different types of bread, croissants, cheese, ham, eggs - the hotel caters to travelers from all over. Very nice decor as well. I would stay here again.

« very disappointed too »

lack of personnel, extremely small room and bathroom. reception was poor and at time no personnel visible anywhere. No telephone service during our stay. Even though we went outside to drink they close the doors accessing the bar/restaurant area... we will not use this "ibis' type hotel again,,, forgot to mention that we had to reschedule for an earlier departure date and were charged higher rate...

« Disappointing experience »

I arrived around dinner time Saturday night. Didn't feel the welcoming atmosphere that is common in other hotels. I was placed in a tiny room, ground floor, facing the car park - wohoo! The corridor to the rooms, the room itself and bathroom had a horrible smell of broken, outdated pipes throughout. On the second night I had absolutely no sleep. The bed wasn't comfortable and the people on the room above seem to be having a party all night and the noise was just too much. The breakfast selection, considering how much you charge, could definitely be improved. Only good thing was the handy location and modern looking bathrooms. Won't be staying again.

« Misleading infromation - this hotel is NOT at the airport! »

I was mislead! The name of the hotel is IBIS Airport hotel, on the map it shows that it is in the airport, but I had to pay 20 euro for a taxi to get there! I would have been better off in a hotel in the city! Please don't lie to people, you are NOT at the airport!! Only thing to save, the staffing person was nice and understanding.

« Great for overnight stay »

It is well located when in need to get to and from the airport. I liked the fact that the bus stop is conveniently located as well. My room was nice and newly refurbished. Place is quiet which helps when sleep is needed. It is a bit pricey however for a place.

Apart from little thing, it was all good. The 1 thing - we found the bed-side lights far too low to read by. Easy to find and good transport into Bordeaux city. However, there could be confusion if you just say "town centre". Locally this was taken to mean Merignac.

« Not the best »

Receptionist couldn't find my booking on arrival. Had to go to my car to get my confirmation. Only one towel in the room. Only a small amount of soap in the dispenser. Only offered one welcome drink, my partner had to pay 4 euros for a glass of wine. ( policy is unclear but we have always been offered one each in the past)
