« Friendly welcome at reasonably priced hotel »

Very friendly welcome from all staff. Comfortable room Noisy with bedroom window open to cool room (no a/c) Rather too far out of Dublin for easy access despite nearby tram station.

« Convenient hotel, friendly team »

We arrived about 9.30pm and were still able to get a nice, simple meal in hotel restaurant. Hotel is a five minute walk from Red Cow Luas (tram) stop. Very convenient. When we checked out reception printed our boarding passes for us. Really friendly.

« Hotel in good location for my business trip. »

The room was clean though some aspects of décor a little tired. Bed was comfortable. Room was too warm with no way to cool it down. Staff seemed a little harassed at check in, but friendly and helpful. Chose this hotel because close to where I needed to be next morning.

« Lovely modern good value hotel. »

Stayed in one of the newly decorated rooms. Not enough towels for 2 people given. Had dinner at hotel. Chicken burger special very dry and tasteless. Breakfast ok

« Very happy with the stay good location and handy for transport into Dublin »

No issues, hotel next to a great tram service directly in to Dublin centre. Hotel had a good size free for guests car park. Hotel itself was comfortable with the room, bed and shower very good. Had evening meal and breakfast which were both very good. All staff very friendly and helpful.

« Dublin visit »

Found that the hotel was very well run, clean and with extremely helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices. Originally booked for three nights but extended to Five. An extra chair would have been useful.

« Basic but functional »

This is located near the Red Cow in Dublin with a free car park and only a 5 minute walk to the Red Cow Luas stop. The journey to town takes about 25 mins - €3 single or €5.20 return. The staff were welcoming and helpful with information. The room was spacious with the basic amenities. Bed was quite firm and not very comfortable to me but this is a personal preference. No air conditioning so we had to leave the window open which was quite noisy facing out in to the main roads. Ask for a rear facing room if you prefer peace and quite. The room was spotlessly clean. There was a decent shower with bath sheet size towels. There are vending machines located on the floors just outside the lifts. This was a good price and perfectly acceptable for our one night stay. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

« Disappointed and could not believe it »

The room seemed as if done in a hurry and the bed was still away from headboard and not done properly...bedding not stretched. This was the worst I have ever seen in my experience as a guest in any hotel, not even in developing countries!

« Good overnight stay before returning home »

We selected the hotel for an overnight stay before returning from Dublin airport. Spacious room, friendly staff. We did not go into city center, but should be simple with using the Tram. Sufficient parking space Breakfast and restaurant for dinner was ok

« Awful, stay away!!! »

After checking into the room we advised reception at 12.30pm on 31 May that the toilet didn't flush completely. We were promised that it would be rectified immediately. It wasn't attended to. At 10 am the following morning we again advised recption that the issue hadn't been rectified. They claimed they didn't know anything about it but assured us it would be rectified. The maintenance person was at reception at the time and said that he hadn't been notified of the problem yesterday but would get onto it immediately. That night it was obvious that the flush handle had been adjusted but the toilet bowl still wasn't emptying. Upon checkout we reported it for the third time. We reitereated our problem to Liz who assured us that she would pass our grievances on to General Manager regarding this. We have heard nothing regarding thismatter and have only received this generic survey.

Dear ANDREW COSSART, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis Dublin. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. When you complained to the accommodation supervisor she went immediately to check the toilet and it was working perfectly. Maybe there was not enough time was given to refill. I do assure you that your toilet was then checked by the maintenance engineer who timed the cystern on how long it took to refill, he checked the syphon also and all the plumbing. He reported that all was working fine. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. « Great stay, no issues »

I stayed with a friend. Had a good stay. Breakfast was fine. Quiet at night time. Lots of parking. The only vault was that you couldn't have a dinner/evening meal in the hotel and we went to the nearby restaurant for dinner. We weren't looking for any fancy cuisine. We ordered burgers in a restaurant nearby. Do you not offer food except for breakfast?
