The visit was good. The only thing to write something about is the elevator used to reach the parking house. The elevator is small and very slow, almost a bit scary to use.

We like the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff....room cleaning ladies, reception, bar, and restaurant staff. Good all round quality of fixtures and fittings. We especially like the Novotel for the dog friendly attitude and, not least, the perfect location. We will return !

« We needed a place to sleep and we slept »

We were hoping for two rooms connecting or a suite with a “separate” bedroom but they didn’t have it so the little one (11 months) had to sleep in the cot in the shower so we couldn’t use the bathroom all night. The room had very little toilet paper (which finished imemediately at first use) the kettle to boil water was broken underneath and leaked at the bottom (so no cup of tea in the morning). I took the older girl (3 years old) for dinner while my wife was in the room putting the little one to sleep and there was only one waiter with a lot of people so we waited about 20min before ordering and when I ordered fusilli pasta for my little girl it wasn’t fusilli and the sauce was not a “child friendly sauce” it had big cherry tomatoes and black olives so my daughter didn’t want it and had only french fries. The only single elevator to go up and down is ridiculously slow...a part from that everything else was ok

at my opinion not a **** hotel. room not modern and not very clean. staircase in concrete and not clean. corridor very tumultuous during the night. breakfast and receptionist ok.

« Pleasant stay as usual. »

Good experience with checking-in, and an overall nice stay. The new menu is good, and contains at least 1 vegan dish. However, the room was really hot (room 214) and I had to open the window to control the temperature at night. Also, the shower did not have very good drainage and water built up and spilled over the edge every time I had a shower.

i am not sure if it is very good but it is a tricky questionaire because we have to jump from average to very good with no good in-between.catering above novotel average, cuisine and menu very good.toilet paper in short supply!car park excellent for such a central location.we enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We booked for the location, travelling through Metz for one night and needing dinner late in town. From that point of view it's great. Unfortunately the hotel wasn't the normal standard I expect from a Novotel, and our family room was 3 star quality at best. The separate WC in the family room looked like something out of a seventies hostel. The outdoor pool was certainly not heated so unusable. Still not clear from the website whether it is supposed to be heated or not. We knew parking was not on site, but hoped basically next door in the St. Jacques public car park. Unfortunately the height restriction and our roofbox meant having to look further away. The girl on reception tried her best to see if she could get us on the small forecourt (as others seem to have done from reviews) but it was blocked by a coach before we could park. Hotel duty manager was extremely unhelpful after that and more than a little rude. We parked in an open public car park 400m away overnight, which was OK but a worry and certainly a risk. If you value your car don't stay here. Buffet breakfast next day was very good, but on balance I wouldn't stay again. Needs a new manager and some money spent on the rooms and corridor spaces to justify the rating.

« I had a rapid and sound reservation yet the communication with the hotel was rather difficult. »

We enjoyed having two doors between us and the coridor. The separation between shower+sink and toilet set, into two rooms, can cause some hygienic issues. The bed made some specific sounds when pressed in some areas. Our opinion is that 0.5 l per day, of mineral water, for two persons is an inappropriate ration of water. Please do firmly consider building an exchange cabin and a shower in the swimming pool area. Please consider extending swimming pool programme from 7 to 23.
