Very well localized and comfortable, with two good restaurants. Good breakfast. One block distant from Ibirapuera Central Park, and at same block in front at Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Administrative Center.

Very pleasant place, but when we chose this place the person at the reception desk said they would deliver some desert at our room due to our engagement night and we could check out later, at 4pm, neither of these promises were furfilled.

Comfortable stay in a relatively old hotel. You can see that it is well maintained although it had better times. The restaurant has very good quality but the service is very slow. Good breakfast with variety that slightly change on daily basis. There is a la carte additional menu with little choice of eggs and tapioca + ready made espresso. It is almost impossible to be served by the waiters, they avoid eye contact and skip requests. I gave up asking for menu choices on food in my 7 days stay after the second day. I kept asking for the espresso coffee and sometimes it took me twenty minutes to get some attention, even when the restaurant was almost empty. The hotel should take care of this aspect. Small swimming pool and sunbeds - only with sun in the morning due to the location between buildings. Ibirapuera park in the nearby deserves a visit.

Very dirty room. Even though this was immediately addressed at the front desk the hotel was not able to get room into a tidy condition within 2 days. The management was involved but without success. Unbelievable that they are not having the understanding of serving guest in the best possible way.

I stayed here for five nights in March 2018. I had a nice experience overall. My room was spacious and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower worked well. No iron and board were provided in the room, so I had to call and request one, only to be told that I had to wait a while as they were "all checked out". Odd--I would have expected a hotel like this to have enough irons! Also, no coffee or tea was provided in the room. I asked about it and I was told that they would deliver it to my room, but I never received anything. Hotel management: please consider providing irons and coffee in every room! I had sandwiches in the bar and they were pretty decent; nothing great but definitely satisfied my hunger. The breakfast buffet was adequate, not great, and very expensive (66 BRL). Typical for a hotel but that's a lot of money for a plate of eggs and fruit. Drinks in the bar were very good, although service was not. Waiters only came by infrequently and it took several requests to get their attention. Another small negative is that there really aren't many restaurants within walking distance, so you wind up taking taxis to dinner. The big draw to this hotel for me was the proximity to Ibirapuera Park, as I am an avid runner and the park seemed like a perfect place to me. The park is indeed nice and seemed very safe, but accessing it from the hotel is not terribly intuitive. When I asked the front desk how to get to the park, I was told "oh, it's very easy. You just go right out of the hotel and look for the yellow bridge." No, not easy at all. First, you have to go left, cross several streets while staying on a pedestrian path, and then you finally spot the yellow bridge over the highway. Once you've done it once, it's pretty easy, but the front desk really should provide a map and a lot better directions. It took me 20 minutes to figure it out the first time. Also, the hotel seems to be hard to find for Uber and Cabify drivers, so make sure to allow extra time for the driver to get there. Availability of taxis at the hotel was hit or miss. Overall, I had a very nice stay here and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Sao Paulo!
