Very good welcome, room and service at the bar (drink and food) was excellent. Unfortunately swimming pool was closed. I cannot understand why it was impossible to get the invoice when leaving while it was agreed that it would be already printedout and that I will just have to pick-it up.

In general I am satisfied from my stay in your hotel. I would like to say big thanks to Room Service boy, who was very helpful. When I called to change coffee machine as our was broken he came really fast and helped us. He was excellent!! Very kind and really involved to help. check-in was very fast and professional. Receptionist (nice man, I do not remember name) who was checking-in us made a very good impression. I know that hotel was fully booked as our check-out was on 1st Jan and big event was ending. I did ask about possibility of late check out as I wasn't feeling well (I had fever) and our flight was at 7pm. Girl on the reception did not agree for- even with additional charge. She wasn't even so kind to check my rate as I asked. To be honest while I am traveling with AMEX agent rate I always get super dedicated service in all hotels up to now. It wasn't nice at all from the receptionist lady that she even didn't check with who she is dealing with and which kind of rate is booked. As professional traveler and business travel counselor I must say that she completely destroyed impression which other people before were working on.

We entered the lobby and there were "loud people". One thing we can't get used to is the smokers right outside the doorway. Should move the smokers a little further. There is a small step to the front door - slightly not expected for a hotel with such size to roll up bags. If one is not careful or tired, it sure is a tripping hazard. The lady that greeted us was ok. She looked at her computer and did not really greet us until I addressed her. When she realized which room we booked, for a moment, I felt I was in a scene from "crazy rich asian" - plus the room was not ready! It was 8PM at night. She checked our luggages and gave us free drink passes. The purpose we book that hotel was to be 20 minutes from the airport because we have a 10AM flight. We were not able to to settle into our room early enough. Then I was told there are no shuttle to the airport - as noted on the website. She told us that the airport is to the left of the hotel but fail to mention that the walk there is not so safe because there is no side walk. Good thing, we are tough and made it through the no-side walk. I attribute that to some language barrier. [Luckily, on our way, we met a very nice man showing how we can get into the terminal.] Due to the lateness entering the room, we never got to use the pool or the gym or the wonderful large bathtub. If I knew that, I would had done budget. The bed made a horrible spring noise as we lie on it. We only had one set of robe where there are 2 adults. Needless to say, we did not use it. The robe material was hard as rough sheep wool. There were no extra blanket for us. They knew we had two adults and two children. There was only one blanket - we had to call the front to get one. When they delivered it, there were no turn down service. The toilet cannot flush toilet paper down. Eww. The lighting in the room are some of the positive signs. Temperature was fine for us. Because it was New Year's Eve, there were loud party music. Thank goodness people pretty much stopped 10 minutes after mid-night. We got up early enough - missed breakfast because we had to take an internal flight. Did not get what I paid for - as there is miscalculation on not having a shuttle to the airport.

Good overall experience though connection to CdG airport is less convenient with the train rather than with the shuttle service. Services from thishotel ard more designed for airlines crew rather than for individual reservations.

This hotel is located in the middle of a construction zone. Very hard to find and access. No shuttle. Bare minimum service. Paid for an upgrade but I did not feel the difference. Horrible housekeeping...

« Please make distinct and different signs clear at the CDG airport between the Mercure CDG-Convention and the OTHER ONE! »

Hotel experience itself is fine, but from the airport, there is no logo distinction between the two Mercure hotels! We ended up taking the pink line shuttle and that led us to the wrong Mercure! We should have taken the CDG Val to the Mercure CDG-Convention. Problem is, the logos are identical! I thought both transportation modes would take us to the same hotel. And we're not the only ones. Another couple of travelers ended up at the wrong Mercure as well. Also, there are a lot of construction going on at the site. From the CDG-Val "Pr" station, signs to the hotel are clear for pedestrians. But from the hotel, there should be distinct signs to lead pedestrians to the station. (It's a hard left off the hotel exit, I wish there was a sign. There was none.)

« Bad food and a disfunctioning shower »

The soap bottle and holder kept falling from the wall into the tub and luckily just missed my foot several times. The glass bath screen didn’t block the water so the shower flooded the bathroom and I had to use all my towels to mop it up. The dinner was awful: soup tasted industrially made and the pasta with vegetables had about a pound of butter and almost no vegetables. At the end, the restaurant the bill for dinner was wrong - twice! Won’t be staying here again - ibis styles is much better, cheaper, and closer to the cdgval and airport

« Great Service overall - Excellent Event Management »

Overall the hotel fully met out requirements. The Event & Conference team were well experienced and provided assistance effectively & efficiently. Breakfast delivered to room at no additional cost is a definite bonus when you're travelling alone. Private dining meal was delicious and the event team helped with a very last minute request to provided an external vendor for some team building experience. Bedrooms were clean and spacious.

Walking from.the cdgval at night with a large suitcase was tiring and unsafe. The 1st room was not equipped ..the 3nd room was next yo a service closet (my reervation specified NOT next to elevator ir service closet) Also the mimi bar wad empty, no bath robe or slippers, no nespresso machine.onlt 2 tubes of body lotion and 2 small soaps..no other amenities. Room service "rare " order arrived 'well done' and cold. 2 glasses requested = 1. Only paper ir plastic cups in the room is not acceptable. Cleaning people started banging the service closet doors continupusly from 6h30 -7h30. I am an accor member but will.not return to mervure conventipn cdg until.the free navette Terminal/hotel/terminal is abailable and level of service us up to 4 star status. I have already written to the Accor group anout this stAy...I also notice ypur standard response to every negative review is always exactly the same.for over 1 year. .Tat demeaning and insulting to.your previous paying guests.

For such high price (150 Euro per night) I did not expect the room to have dirty bed cover and to smell like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes day before. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

1, on check in I was asked to block €720 on my credit card for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 9) for a three night stay for the rooms which were pre paid in advance. This is ridiculous 2. I pre paid for 3 days parking but the card /ticket did not work even after it was replaced. I had to argue with the attendant at the exit barrier on the intercom each time I tried to exit 3. The room was not cleaned each day. I had to ask housekeeping to come do it each evening 4. Your chicken club sandwich has ham in it. When I pointed this out to the waiter he brought me another to show me and it had ham. Extremely poor quality ham at that. Given the quality of the ham and chicken at breakfast which was very good, I can only assume the club sandwiches are bought in pre made 5. €9.50 for a beer is an outrageous price 6. All your staff need training in customer service. It was clear that they do not get any as their attitude was awful

Good: The room is really quiet although it is next to the airport. Other experience: The one at the reception does not know anything about online check in when I told me I have checked online already, he relied with "we do not have this service". I shall have my invoice automatically by Email, almost one week there is no invoice, even if I called them personally and stated my Email address again by phone.
