« Comfortable stay, but customer service after the stay is hopeless! »

We enjoyed staying in the hotel. However, after we left the Hotel did not show any interest in our problems. We left paintings in the room that we purchased as a souvenir from Paris in our room. We called a number of times and send an email too as her Reception request. However, we have heard no reply back nor calls not emails. It is disappointing that after the stay we are treated like none-guests any more.

« Overall good service but to get to hotel from airport is a real difficulty »

I always use Mercure because they offer free parking for Airfrance staff. However if I don't have a car, I would reconsider to choose this hotel as to get to hotel from airport by walking is a real challenge - Difficult to find the way to hotel, long way to walk, not a good road to walk. Constructions everywhere. Especially with a big luggauge....

My night rate was 148euro ... I was asked to pay 210euro to cover other costs for the stay .. upon check out I was asked to a further 29euros for Paris taxes and the cheeseburger meal and 50cl of beer leaving.

The room was comfortable and clean but the food wasn't great. I was also misinformed on how to get to your hotel by the staff whom I called on site prior to arriving. Better directions need to be given as there are too Mercure hotels near the airport and the shuttle doesn't confirm which one it goes to.

Generally service in restaurant in evening and again in the morning for breakfast was poor. Staff whilst pleasant, did not seem able to ensure all customers were adequately supported.

Staff were helpful, the hotel is nicely appointed. One small flaw , as we had to leave at 6 am, we were told breakfast started at 7 , but when we came down at 6:15, the buffet was open! We would have come down earlier had we known. And our sat nav took us to the sister hotel a couple of Kilometres away. Might be good, if possible, to sort out a better link for the website?! But a lovely stay, thank you!

« I wish I chose a different hotel »

1) Paid for a privileged room - was given standard room. No explanation, reimbursement or compensating gesture from the reception staff. 2) Requested fast checkout to catch an early flight. Was assured by the reception staff that I was registered for that & I could drop the key at reception - I followed those instructions and never received a receipt by email. 3) Upon check-in, I verified with the reception staff that my Le Club AccorHotels number was registered - but I was never credited with points/nights .

The hotel staff were very nice and polite at the reception. However the hotel decor did not live up to my expectations especially on the 1/floor where I had my room. Hotel did not smell nice on my floor and old food smells dominated the corridor outside my room. I asked for a quiet room but noises of something rolling backwards and forwards above my room carried on until 11 pm at night and started again at 4am. I had to telephone down to reception to get the rolling noise to stop. (I think it was the cleaners who were working very late but I can’t be sure.) The architrave around my bathroom door was tired and peeling at the bottom and pulling away from the wall. There was water ingress. The bedroom was very plain and was not very appealing but the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was no noise from the planes.

« A disappointing experience driven by poor quality, slow internet speeds, lack of options, poor service and at times, poorly cooked, inedible meals. »

As part of a corporate meeting, I was required to stay at the Mercure. The room itself was fine, but it lacked amenities (toiletries), water, a comfortable chair. For a conference hotel, one would expect a desk in the room and functional internet. I was unable to download files and frequently lost the wifi signal. Breakfast buffet was acceptable, but was the best meal of the day. Food frequently arrived undercooked (raw chicken) or off (scallops smelled bad.) Wines were of very poor quality. Until I stayed at the Mercure, I never believed it was possible to have a bad meal or bad wine in France. The food and beverage services at this hotel are the worst I've even had in France. You should spend a few more euros and improve what you offer your guests. They would be delighted to pay a few euros more for a 360-degree update in quality and service.

Very good welcome, room and service at the bar (drink and food) was excellent. Unfortunately swimming pool was closed. I cannot understand why it was impossible to get the invoice when leaving while it was agreed that it would be already printedout and that I will just have to pick-it up.

In general I am satisfied from my stay in your hotel. I would like to say big thanks to Room Service boy, who was very helpful. When I called to change coffee machine as our was broken he came really fast and helped us. He was excellent!! Very kind and really involved to help. check-in was very fast and professional. Receptionist (nice man, I do not remember name) who was checking-in us made a very good impression. I know that hotel was fully booked as our check-out was on 1st Jan and big event was ending. I did ask about possibility of late check out as I wasn't feeling well (I had fever) and our flight was at 7pm. Girl on the reception did not agree for- even with additional charge. She wasn't even so kind to check my rate as I asked. To be honest while I am traveling with AMEX agent rate I always get super dedicated service in all hotels up to now. It wasn't nice at all from the receptionist lady that she even didn't check with who she is dealing with and which kind of rate is booked. As professional traveler and business travel counselor I must say that she completely destroyed impression which other people before were working on.

We entered the lobby and there were "loud people". One thing we can't get used to is the smokers right outside the doorway. Should move the smokers a little further. There is a small step to the front door - slightly not expected for a hotel with such size to roll up bags. If one is not careful or tired, it sure is a tripping hazard. The lady that greeted us was ok. She looked at her computer and did not really greet us until I addressed her. When she realized which room we booked, for a moment, I felt I was in a scene from "crazy rich asian" - plus the room was not ready! It was 8PM at night. She checked our luggages and gave us free drink passes. The purpose we book that hotel was to be 20 minutes from the airport because we have a 10AM flight. We were not able to to settle into our room early enough. Then I was told there are no shuttle to the airport - as noted on the website. She told us that the airport is to the left of the hotel but fail to mention that the walk there is not so safe because there is no side walk. Good thing, we are tough and made it through the no-side walk. I attribute that to some language barrier. [Luckily, on our way, we met a very nice man showing how we can get into the terminal.] Due to the lateness entering the room, we never got to use the pool or the gym or the wonderful large bathtub. If I knew that, I would had done budget. The bed made a horrible spring noise as we lie on it. We only had one set of robe where there are 2 adults. Needless to say, we did not use it. The robe material was hard as rough sheep wool. There were no extra blanket for us. They knew we had two adults and two children. There was only one blanket - we had to call the front to get one. When they delivered it, there were no turn down service. The toilet cannot flush toilet paper down. Eww. The lighting in the room are some of the positive signs. Temperature was fine for us. Because it was New Year's Eve, there were loud party music. Thank goodness people pretty much stopped 10 minutes after mid-night. We got up early enough - missed breakfast because we had to take an internal flight. Did not get what I paid for - as there is miscalculation on not having a shuttle to the airport.
