After staying at eighteen different hotels over 6 weeks travelling throughout Europe, we had not had a single problem until our very last night when we arrived at this hotel. So many problems checking in, from being told we had not paid, lucky I had our receipts, told could not upgrade room because we used Expedia, which we did not!, inability to provide a luggage trolley, and worst of all many problems with the carpark, including being told [rudely] we cannot park at the hotel and need to go to one of the adjoining hotels with our car! In the end a manager stepped in and gave us a park at no charge and apologised for all the unecessary problems we had. He showed us our room and we thought that was the end of it. Then we ordered room service. Food was excellent except I could not drink my soup with the weird almost flat small wooden paddle I was given. When we asked for a proper spoon we were refused and told this strange thing that held virtually no liquid was all they had, luckily we carry a few of our own cutlery items! Also when the meal arrived we were told rudely that we could not eat until we handed over 55 Euros cash. Another debate ensued, apparently no one checked our credit card on arrival, so we could not eat, as we did not have enough cash left to pay, and were told we could not pay on checkout, the first time in 40 years of travelling this has happened. He finally went and got a machine and we paid by card, this time the correct amount of 52E, must have been trying to add some extra for himself on top of the service charge, simply shocking rude service and meanwhile our meal was getting cold. [If I could attach a photo of the 'spoon' I would]. As for the room, it was very nice, had a fridge and coffee machine which we loved, was quite spacious and had really comfortable bedding. Unfortunately there was no glasses to have a drink, just flimsy plastic ones, and no china cups for the Nespresso machine, just some awful paper Maccas style cups, not good for a so called 'top room', and not at all eco friendly. Again luckily we carried our own. Sadly this experience left a bad taste in our mouths, and spoilt our last night, after a wonderful trip with no other problems.

I booked this hotel because they do Park, Stay & Fly and are in the vicinity of Charles De Gaulle airport … so very convenient for my teenage daughter and myself (mum) especially as we live in England and I can’t see where else I would park my car. The day before my stay, I received an email offering me to complete my checking online which I did. Whilst doing so, I was asked whether I wanted to upgrade free of charge to a superior room or even better, to a privilege room with nexpresso machine (yes please!), sleepers and dressing gown (Whoop Whoop from for the teenage daughter who wanted nothing else but to take full advantage of the swimming pool and pamper herself). To my surprise though, the upgrade was 50 euros CHEAPER. What more can we ask? I had, however, asked whether it was possible to have twin beds rather than a double bed. When we arrived in our room, we noticed it was no longer a privilege room. I phoned the reception and was told that was due to me asking for twin beds so instead we still had a superior room. I thanked the staff for trying to accommodate the twin beds but explained that I preferred a double bed if that got me a privilege room because nexpresso, drinks in the fridge, more space, sleepers and a bathrobe were worth me sharing a bed with my daughter. They immediately changed us again to a privilege room and … whilst we were enjoying the swimming pool, brought a spare single bed!! It was clear to the staff that it was a special time for us and I felt they did everything to make it such. Thank you to all the staff.

My room (101) was very noisy, it's directly adjacent to the shaft, whenever the lift moved, big noises aroused in the room. Not mentioning people dragging their luggage passing around. I had very important meeting the next day, but had barely slept at all during the whole night.

Suggestion: Improve access to bedside power points

We really enjoyed the pool and quiet rooms. It would be great if you could make it easier for travelers to plug-in their mobile phones next to the bed. You could for example add a power board with international sockets that will accept mobile phone chargers from any country

Person at check in was condescending and provided very limited information. We only got one key to the room. He was very vague about the airport shuttle. We called to be woken up...and the morning call never came. The gentleman in the morning reluctantly showed us where the shuttle was and commented we should have done it earlier. This is very far from a four star hotel service.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly and lovely staff. Housekeeping was brilliant, rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily. Pool was excellent, games area for the kids is fantastic. Breakfast buffet was lovely with different choices.Would definitely stay again and again.

Overall, satisfactory room. Welcoming and gracious check-in. Comfortable, quiet, business-man room.

Check-in Front Desk Clerk was very gracious. Found my reservation immediately. Room was quiet and comfortable, but bathroom lacked shower-cap for women. Restaurant experience was very disappointing. When I stayed at this hotel one year ago, I was able to have a pleasant, light dinner in the restaurant before going to bed. This year, I arrived soaking wet, having walked in the rain from the CDGVAL station to the hotel. I left my wet shoes in the room, changed into sandals and went directly to the restaurant to have some hot soup before bed. To my surprise I was told I could not eat in the restaurant unless I ate from the buffet for 16Euros or more. I was told that, if I wanted soup, I had to go to the noisy bar in the lobby, order there and eat there. Disappointed, I went to the bar and asked the young waiter for a menu. There was no soup on the menu. A very nice older waiter asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted soup but that there wasn't any on the menu. He told me not to worry. He went to the restaurant and got soup for me, to eat in the bar area. Really unpleasant, noisy, annoying experience. But, the 2 waiters were very nice. One bowl of soup was 9Euros. At 07:15 next morning, at check-out, a different, very nice front desk clerk was very confused about me being there. Couldn't find me in the hotel in his computer. Had to get help from a colleague. Finally found me in the computer, then said I was charged 68Euros for incidentals, like breakfast, on top of the room charge. I told him I did not have breakfast. I told him I owed only 9Euros for soup the night before. He had to get a Supervisor to do something else with his computer to get stuff straightened out. Took 30 minutes for this clerk to check me out of the hotel and assure me that the 68Euros would be taken off my credit card, minus the 9Euros. Then he joked about me doing things "The American way", which I found to be an unnecessary comment. He continued joking but I excused myself and told him I had a flight to catch in 2 hours and I ran out the door. I will definitely look into other hotels at CDG for my next trip there when I have to catch an early morning flight. Being unwelcome in the hotel restaurant on a very rainy night is unacceptable. Having the front desk clerk take 30 minutes to check me out in the morning is unacceptable. It appears that the Accor Group is trying to save money by cutting back on little incidentals, like shower caps in the bathroom, and at the same time squeeze money out of guests by requiring people to eat at a fixed-price buffet even if they only want a bowl of soup. While the room was satisfactory, the other experiences were negative enough to warrant exploring other hotels at CDG.

Staff not very helpful, we forgot my son's Tedd Bear in our room, called and spoke to staff and they asked to ring after 30mins. After the 30mins rang again only to be told that we need to send an email which we had already send the previous night. Up to now no one has been in touch either on email or phone and we are on our last days in France. Very unprofessional staff.

Overall good services. The suit was nice and clean. Unfortunalety, my breakfast was not given to me at 5 am, as requested the day before. I fill everything, but nobody came till 05h30.
