Room was safe, clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. I chose Ibis in Mount Isa as the restaurant is always good and I wanted the convenience of my dinner on site. Breakfast left a little to be desired... I went in the restaurant to have breakfast and whilst there was some items laid out, I was unable to find any staff or cups to make coffee on the bench, so I skipped breakfast there and went elsewhere.

Location was good however large amounts of mold / water damage in room near aircon there were marks on the ceiling and the wall where old brown water has obviously ran down the walls. room was very noisey and could hear everything outside the hotel going past and in the corridor including a cat in a unit somewhere meowing early morning. A lot of noise from the restaurant in the early morning with cutlery, plates and music. The shower head / water pressure was terrible it was a dribble. Have stayed here before and it wasn’t this experience so I’m guessing it might be just the room I stayed in this time.
