It was nice the lift was a bit scary as you are walking into the lift it makes noises and feels as the floor is lifting.They know about this in reception and said the wood is lifting will be fine ???

I was very looked after the first night i had a very loud snoorer in the room next to me put up with if but could not any longer when I called the on call staff member she was so accommodating and understandiing she moved me straigt away.

Room was fine. Noisy plumbing. Reception was fine. Restaurant wait staff on Thursday evening forgot my main dish, even though I was a regular customer all week. And had been there many times over the years. Main dish arrived 1.5 hours my order was taken, after quizzing the wait staff. Call me if you’d like.

Room was clean and comfortable but when we arrived we tried to get a trolley to load all our luggage onto but we were told that they only have one and it was being used so we waited but it wasn’t returned so my husband had to take it all up himself as I could not lift anything because of my back problems. Perhaps investing in another trolley would be a good idea. We ordered room service during our stay and the food was so delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful on the reception desk. We will definitely be staying there again when we are in Mt Isa. Highly recommend it.

Staff incredible. Room really good. Arrived on a Friday very tierd after travelling all day. Couldn’t use the restaurant as it was closed for a big group. Then went to book our second night as not open on weekends. We then couldn’t use our drink voucher either night ! Staff very helpful and bought a drink to our room. Lift broke down both days. Had to take all our luggage including a swag down 3 flights of stairs. Again staff so apologetic.

This is the 25th year in a row that I stayed at the Verona Hotel in Mt Isa. I keep coming back to stay because the room is clean and well presented and the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located in the main part of the Town and the tariff is very reasonable.
