As always staff was friendly and helpful and service was good. Prices however are now too high for the quality that the property offers. The room was small and satisfactory furnished, but the air condition did not work. The bathroom much too small with mold on the sealing and a rotten lower end of the door. Parking is an unbelievable 39 Euros a night, unheard of.

One night stay ... a bit disappointed with the quality of the bed mattress. Bathroom layout e.g. toilet next to cabinet very inconvenient, especially when you consider the price. On the other hand, excellent breakfast. Parking over-priced.

I see through your notation that one moment of your experience was not completely satisfying, especially regarding the size and the layout of your room. We wanted to inform you that our house has several types of rooms at your disposal and that the room you occupied is one of the third category. Some of our accommodations are more spacious, offer different layouts and another view. We believe that an alternative product would answer your needs and would definitely have your approval. Our booking agents stay at your disposal to propose you the best service and product that could meet your needs. For your future reservation, I suggest you to contact our Reservations Manager, at the enclosed email address: H0… She will be happy to recommend a more suitable product to you. Moreover, regarding the parking, our price is slightly more expensive than some parking lots in Strasbourg but we can justify it with a trustworthy valet service and a very secured parking place located just under the hotel and accessible 24h a day. For your information, your score is only 70, while at Sofitel we opt for a full satisfaction of our customers up to 90 or 100/100. We hope to welcome you soon. I stayed for six nights for a work trip and was disappointed in the experience. Some examples that contributed to this include very slow service at the bar (took over 50 minutes to receive one serve of tapas); having to repeat a request for delivery of an ironing board to the room and inconsistent catering service during our meetings. Most significantly, my room had a very unpleasant odour. When I arrived, a deodorising machine was in use in the room. It was removed later that day, but the odour persisted throughout the stay.

Staff was great. The location was good but the hotel rooms (Junior Suite) needs refurbishment. The room layout was cramped and the giant tv screen on a stand blocked the passage through the room. The color scheme was also just plane ugly. It bordered on a "bordello" look.

I always love the Sofitel Hotel but I have complained on numerous occasions about the heat in the room which prevents me from sleeping. I would prefer a lighter covering on the bed and have expressed this on several occasions.

I found the room to be very comfortable, ate at the restaurant which was good and the service from staff at check in and out was efficient and friendly. However, I was very unhappy with your cancellation policy. Iwas originally booked for 2 nights but was called back to Brussels a day early. On checkout I was told I had to pay for the two nights which I happily did. later in the day I was told I no longer had to return to Brussles as the meetings I had there were postponed. On calling the hotel to see if I could still use the room I'd paid for I was told the room had now gone. I asked whether I could have a refund for the second nights stay as someone else was now paying for the room and was told that was not the policy of the hotel. This is frankly a rip off as you got paid for the same room twice.

Carpet is faded and bed is overly worn. Mattress is not good. Food is great. Location is great. People are great. Not sure why the gym cannot open before 630am so I can workout before work.
