Our stay did not start well. After traveling all day and arriving at the hotel around 12.30pm, we were told our room was not ready and check in time was 3pm. So we left suitcases and backpacks with the concierge, after notifying him that one backpack contained fragile items. He said the luggage store was full and bags would have to remain on trolley, but not to worry as he was always around. Returned at 3pm and told room would be 30 minutes more. Trolley with bags was right next to door and no sign of concierge or anyone else. Finally got into room, which was far from clean. Also had prepaid months in advance and given the furthest room from the lift. Overall, dirty, tired and shabby hotel. Would not recommend or return.

Quiet location but close to essentials including dining options, sights, and transportation links. Excellent breakfast selection and helpful staff in the dining room. Good size room with all of the amenities. Front desk staff assisted with questions.

We decided to stay at the Sofitel because of the beautiful pictures of the hotel. The lobby also looked like it. Our room was clean even though one could see that f.ex. the carpet already survived a few guests. For us that did not really matter as the hotel is perfectly situated in the city center! The beds were fantastic. What we really would like to point out is that every person we got in touch with was treating us absolutely wonderful (the superfriendly lady at the reception, the service-oriented housekeeping, the great valet parking guys). On top we got some nice appreciation that really surprised us. The MURE was delicious :-) We would definitely stay at the hotel again! Thank you very much and best regards!

The staff is incredible from the reciptionist to the VIP guest relations Mariam, she is simply amazing and very helpful especially that we are from Kuwait and speak Arabic, she was very welcoming and tried to solve our issue with the mattress since it was the downside of our experience at Sofitel. Nonetheless, the concierge Lucy was of a great help to us and was very patient. I would definitely recommend staying at Sofitel Strasbourg, the staff is great, the rooms are clean and the location is perfect.

The rooms are looking a little dated and old but are clean and a good size. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast service is excellent. The hotel is well situated. The air conditioning is very poor. We complained and the receptionist advised an engineer was fixing it. It did not improve.

Perfectly located and gorgeous terrasse for breakfast or apéro int the front. Lovely welcoming scent in the lobby and warm welcoming like no other. I would appreciated the possibility to book a parking space in advance in the hotel for a senior family member who has walking issues. On the first day, i ordered a ice bucket but it never came. On the second day, i had to call the room service twice in an hour to ask for the bucket again. Hopefully the floor guy helped me by calling the room service and it was brought right away. On the cleaning side of the room, mirror applicant was dusty on the back where the turn on/off button is. Invoice was supposed to be sent by email and is still not received 2 days after check-out.

A really good location. The room: 3 star quality. a rather small room with brown shagy carpet, dark brown and deep purple curtains, beige/olive walls, black and white painting with black frame, mirror with black frame, all furnishings are black, who was the interior designer? depressing. the bathroom is dated. the bed is really good. the people are very friendly but this not a 5 star. the people are really friendly, but this is not 5 star as they claim.

Pleasant check in and check out experience, great staff in bar and restaurant. Room quite small. Unacceptable that it took two hours for staff to arrive at the room to separate the double bed into two singles, as requested at check in. By that time it was too late.

We do our best to make a sojourn in our establishment a pleasure at all time, consequently, I was sorry to read that we did not fully meet your expectations. Following your comment regarding the fact that you did not get the twin beds on time, I directly alerted our Executive Housekeeper. She immediately took all the necessary measures with her teams, to ensure that such event will not occur again and she is joining me in apologizing for this uncomfortable situation. However, I am glad to read that you appreciated your experience in our bar and restaurant, thanks to the dedicated service of our staff.
