Excellent service and breakfast option. Stayed in suite which was nice size given European standards but room had one main flaw in design which was having very limited drawers so plan on keeping some of your folded items in luggage.

The rooms need to be upgraded. Sofa is cheap and so is furniture. Moquette is dirty. Shower is noisy. Chauffage not working. Corridor is cold.

« Definitely not worth it ! »

- Room service order was "lost" between desk and kitchen ; I was served with more than 1hr delay. - Bedding is too "warm" especially when heating cannot be put down - Ambiance perfume is too heavy and gives allergies - Worst gluten free bread ever - Hermes shampoo and body lotion give allergies Conclusion : Sofitel brand has not evolved since early 2000. It is an oldfashioned vision of luxury. Veyr dissappointing especially with such a high cost. I'd rather go to a 3 or 4star competitor.

I am very sorry to read that we did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the service and the Room service. I personally alerted my Direction, in order to take the appropriate measures to address the problems and prevent future occurrence. Moreover, we are sorry that the bedding service did not live up to your expectations. At Sofitel Hotels we have the same type of upscale bedding called "MyBed" consisting of a firm mattress, a feather mattress and high-quality bed linen for the comfort of our guests. However, some of our guests may not appreciate the soft, warm comfort of the mattress, if this is the case we will be happy to adapt our bedding to your needs. Overall I had a good experience. The breakfast was really nice. We couldn’t get into the restaurant as it was full but had a nice meal in the car. The bedrooms were nice but quite small and very warm with the air conditioning not very effective

Miriam was extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. We were supposed to be on a river cruise, but due to the low river water, we had to stay with you for two nights. She made us feel special right away.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during the celebration of our wedding anniversary. It is a 5-star hotel centrally located and with good parking facilities. The Cathedral, the Ile, the Opera, the Petit France and all luxury boutiques are at a walking distance. It has a refined décor and warm ambiance. Our Luxury King Room with View was on the fourth floor. It was noiseless, clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Service was overall excellent. Given the special occasion of our stay, Ms Pauline and Ms Myriam of the Guest Relations kindly arranged the preparation and delivery directly to our room in our absence of a beautifully decorated plate of chocolate-covered strawberries, accompanied by a bottle of fine Alsatian Pinot! We did not have dinner at this hotel and therefore we cannot comment on the restaurant. The cramped buffet area in an otherwise ample breakfasts room may require some improvement.

The guest check-in staff was very friendly when we arrived and they allowed us to check in early which was very much appreciated. The staff throughout the hotel was very helpful and friendly. The bathroom and shower were a bit small. We plan to stay at the hotel on our next visit.

Nevertheless, I see through your comment that several moments of your experience were not completely satisfying, especially regarding the bathroom. I understand your disappointment about the size of the shower and the bathroom.
