« Wonderful time at Sofitel Dietetique in Quiberon! »

The hotel was very comfortable and I did 6 day weight loss option and lost 4,5lbs! The whole programme really focused on reducing calorie intake and the different treatments based on seawater therapy were extremely effective. I left feeling refreshed, healthy, detoxed after only 7 days. Quiberon is unique place where you have no distractions. Long walks along the magnificent wild beachfront and quiet evenings all contributed to a real detox experience. The service at the hotel was excellent with the restaurant staff going out of their way to be helpful. All rooms have balconies and look out to the sea. Even if the hotel is not brand new, it has proven itself over the past 50 years at least and remains a favorite of the european elite so there was a very cosmopolitan group of interesting people during my stay. For the traveler who wants some time away from everything and to focus on weightless goals and fitness, it is ideal!

« I enjoyed my stay , a relaxing atmosphere , a good experience. »

Being a regular guest at your hotel,I enjoyed staying with you this time too. The atmosphere is nice where we can rest and chill . The hotel as well as the medical staff are polite, very helpful , professional, and customer oriented . I found the treatment sessions very relaxing, However I expected to loose more of fat mass weight ; The food is fair, but not as good as that of the previous Chef; As for the rooms , they are not so spacious. Overall impression good, I would say that my stay was quite satisfactory.

As a start, let me just say that I have been a faithful client for many years, but there are some comments I would like to point out in hope that the pourpose of this survey is really aimed to improvement. 1) as a 5 star hotel, I did not expect to find out that my favorite room (53) has not been serviced for what seemed a long time as I even found spider webs heavily nested all along the curtains, a bad smell in the room, dust everywhere. 2) the food at the le delight restaurant has definitely gotten worse, quality of the food in general, presentation, and lack of imagination... 3) treatments: I know how it all works by now, not always I was given the people I am used to and not always the treatments weee up to standard. If it is true that I have been going to Sofitel Quiberon dietetique twice a year for ten days each time to relax, detox and have a stress-free stay that was not the case this time...

« Heavenly relaxation »

Heavenly relaxation at the Quiberon Dietetique. Whether you are going for relaxation or detox or loosing weight this is the best place to go. The hotel is very pleasant, the service outstanding, the restaurant excellent and the " cure" the best thalassotherapy you can have. The hotel and spa are outside Quiberon but within walking distance. Rooms have gorgeous views of the sea and Belle Ile, best are those in the middle (for sun exposure) and on the second floor. Don't hesitate to change the soins if they are not well adapted to your fitness level or goals. The pool is 25 meters long and 30 degrees and the outside jacuzzi is heaven. Onlu negative the rooms and especially the bathrooms are small.

Despite many highly "commercial" aspects (the prices are getting too high - €7 for a cup of coffee!!), there are still therapists on staff who care deeply about you as an individual. Special thanks to Frank, the physio-osteopath (who risked the anger of the planning people in order to spend five extra minutes with me when I needed it!), the wonderful fascia therapist Beatrice, and the beautician Sylviane ( who gave me two masks because I needed the extra boost). Boo to the planner who told me "the are employees, they have to do what they are told). The dietitians are charming and helpful as always. The rooms are comfy and well appointed. And you would never know you are only eating 1200 calories a day!

« Relaxing, healthy stay with a bit of a language barrier »

I sent this email to the staff during my stay and never received a response: I am enjoying my stay at Sofitel Quiberon Dietetique. The food is wonderful and the treatments are great. The sport coaches are fantastic! My biologique recherche consultation resulted in me buying several new products. My room is great with a wonderful view and good maid service. I do have one complaint. I do not speak French, although I wish I did. My program 'exclusiv minceur' includes activities and conferences that are only in French. I have not been able to do these activities. The person who made my schedule knew I did not speak French, but did not tell me these were French only. I have been turned away, which is embarrassing and upsetting. However, Today when I went for the relaxation minceurcollec which is only French, the woman was very helpful and took me to get another service at the service desk. I also can not do the Confernce Dietetique today, since in French. I really appreciate her help today. I suggest for future guest who don't speak French you let them know before booking and offer a package that is reduced in price since we can not take part in several activities. Also, list on the schedule which activities are French only, so we don't keep showing up to take part and get turned away. Perhaps give non- French speaking clients other services to replace those they can't attend. I hope this helps.

« We are regular customers, always satisfied »

Coming since many years, we are always well greeted and our stay is very comfortable and pleasant. The only complaint: twice we called to reserve a taxi to pick us up at the airport of Nantes. No taxi was waiting for us! When we called the hotel, they said they had no such information. We told them the name of the young women who spoke with us in order to make the taxi reservation. This is the first time this has happened.

« superb suites but a very poor gastronomic experience »

we stayed at the Sofitel Quiberon diététique for one night on August 7th, 2017 but we dined at the Sofitel Quiberon Thalassa in their "restaurant gastronomique". the experience proved horrible: we ordered 2 children menus, a fish for me and some oysters and shelfish for my wife. we arrived at around 9.15 pm, the children were tired, so I asked for the main dish of the children menu only, and to skip the starter ( a soup) I then was told by the maître d', that I would be charged more for the main dish alone , than for the entire children menu. indeed, she had to order the main dish from "A la carte" if I was not interested in getting the full menu for the kids. anyways, when the dishes arrived it proved horrible: the fish plates were all overcooked ( I had a lotte in tomato sauce with rice, they had a filet of white fish) they were dry and my rice was like a pudding, all grains overcooked and forming a sort of ...purée of rice. the sauces were smelling like not homemade , and the shellfish was smelling strongly. the bread was okay. that is quite all we ate that evening. the wine ( a half bottle of white wine) was a show: it took 5 full minutes to the waiter to uncork it, as his corkscrew was broken, so after he tried a lot of times, he asked another waiter for his own corkscrew in front of us. all in all the bill was close to 200 € and the restaurant manager decided to cut it in half, not that we said anything but he saw probably our plates going back barely touched. surprisingly the breakfast the next day, at the same place, a buffet with cooks preparing crepes on the spot, was very good. but the restaurant cannot name itself a gastronomic one, after the experience we had that day. the Sofitel Quiberon dietetique suite we got ( room 215) was exceptional, superb view, superb beds, comfortable suite, new decoration, 75 square meters approximately. very nice. the restaurant is really not at the level. other issues noted: -we asked for wifi,the code was not in the room.when calling the concierge i was told to come to reception to get it. as i was already undressed i asked for someone to bring it to me, and received a no answer, saying for security reasons (???) i had to come to reception to get the code.another stupidity is the fact that the open part of the pool in the hotel is reserved for adults and out of bounds for children, so they could have only a limited experience and could only swim indoors while the weather was great outside. finally the concierge: I asked for a Michelin guide to find a restaurant outside of town for the rest of our trip, and they had no guide whatsoever. he said: you can find it on the internet. super advice, many thanks mister concierge. ( he did not offer to check a place for me on his computer, by the way) Laurent F.

I was very concerned to read your comments regarding your dinner in our Restaurant la Presqu’île, I would like to sincerely apologize for this bad experience. First, I would like to precise that the main dish alone costed 19€, indeed less than the Children Menu (26€). However, I am sorry that the quality of food and the service wasn’t up to your expectations. I shared your comment with our Chef and our Restaurant Manager, rest assured that they will take it into account to improve our services. However, I am glad that you enjoyed your “exceptional” Suite (215). It is true that it offers a superb ocean view and is a very comfortable, spacious and modern accommodation. I am embarrassed to read the severe lack of service from our Concierge Team. This is not representative of the level of service we strive to provide at Sofitel Quiberon. Rest assured that I have addressed this issue personally with our Ambassadors, to guarantee an efficient and warm service, and will make sure that this doesn’t occur again. We felt very welcome from the moment of arrival out of the car Jan luc was warm and attentive, gliding us comfortably and atrentively to accustom to new base Immediate lunch offered whilst luggage taken to room The bedroom we reserved off the website of Sofitel was beyond expectations, and over the 5 days stay we marvelled and enjoyed it immensely The hotel dietitique is exceptional in: Location, accessibility to walks, town, activities all around Utmost Attention to details of our stay , service at all times, whether in general or at restaurant A special mention needed to all the food aspect A genius chef, Patrick jarno , presents and cooks the most beautiful, imaginative and tasty to the last 'crumb' ( of ourselves- no flour or sugar to create crumbs.. Ha,ha) dishes that one runs to buy all his cook books Highly respected by us, as well as all who work at dining room area From the youngest of waiters, to the maitre D, not a fault to be found. Furthermore, Beatrice runs an establishment to perfection. Accommodating seating location, questions of any sorts,requests to change, adjust, advise are never too much for her, while multi tasking with other guests and staff An exceptional, beautiful lady! The spa leaves quite a bit to be desired: As we hardly speak French , and being our first time to stay,, we really did not make the most of this otherwise wonderful visit Suggestion that customers due for the first time should be contacted in advance, introduced to the whole thallasa experience, and discuss how to maximise stay. Definitely by someone fluent enough in English!! By the way, they don't even have a written brochure in other language than French , as we found out at the spa reception. We found the whole reception and service by the spa desk much less inviting than the wonderful service down the hall at the hotel.... The few actual treatments we chose were probably not best ones for our needs But The professional staff performing them were most pleasant, and overall good at their work Massages were absolutely fine, as mainly they were our choices Still Must reiterate: As soon as is possible schedule wise in our daily work and commitments, we will return to be spoilt by Sofitel dietitique , and marvel with Quiberon area Thank you whole heartily for all that
