Excellent, except all Novotel menus are very similar so that for vegetarians you would need to avoid staying always at Novotels when travelling. Where are you supposed to write what is below. If here, what is the point of the word 'title' above.

Super hotel, although a bit tricky to find at first. Excellent facilities, attentive and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant, and a wide choice at breakfast. Bar was also well stocked. However, breakfast service closing at 09:30 we found a bit early, as leisure travellers.

Third time of booking the 'gourmet break' at this hotel after reviewing advertised restaurant menu. This time arrived to find completely different menu and billing arrangements as restaurant was in the process of being "revamped". Restaurant staff didn't know what we were talking about and seemed more interested in laying the tables for breakfast around us ( this before 8pm). What was supposed to be an end of season treat turned out to be a rushed stressful experience which coloured the whole stay. Reception was delightful the following morning, apologising and explaining that the restaurant was going through a period of transition but I notice that the gourmet break deal is still available on the Novotel site as is the restaurant menu on which we had based our trip.

Easy to locate off the A7, this was our second visit to the hotel en route to the Luberon. We use Novotel because we are guaranteed cleanliness in the room and reasonable food in the restaurant. Breakfast is good but possibly a little over priced for those of us who only require fruit juice, cereals, croissants and coffee.

« Many little details that are not 100%... »

There are really quite a number of details that are a bit disappointing. Each detail by itself is only minor, but yet they add up... No litter bins at the swimming pool, not enough chairs at the swimming pool, door to the swimming pool with broken handle which hurt my hand, two slow elevators opposite each other that are not synchronised so everyone pushes both buttons, ... We were in adjoining Executive Rooms, but these were really not all that large, so I wonder what is the difference with regular rooms. Major disappointment: the bartender in the evening refuses to accept a drinks voucher that we received as Gold member - apparently because he was too lazy to change the entry in the cash register. It required "mental pressure" from a receptionist to "convince" him to do so nevertheless (upon which he suggested to be given a tip ???). Breakfast was good, with very nice products and a wide variety. The buffet is rather small so the buffet area is very busy, but this was not too disturbing.

The room / suit was nice, large, well equipped and laid out however that's where any good experience of our stay with Novotel ended. The ONLY reason I gave you a 2 instead of a 1 was because of this one point. The air conditioning was pathetic; It was 40 degrees outside when we arrived and the air conditioning struggled bring the room temperature even a fraction. The room was hot and stuffy and very uncomfortable, almost unbearable once we’d gone to bed. In the end, I had to open the window at 11pm just to allow the COOLER air in from outside as the room temp was over 28 degrees by this point. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The main double bed felt more like a sofa bed, it was lumpy and moved every time either myself or wife made the slightest movement. It was not a good night's sleep at all. The breakfast in the morning was utterly shambolic. There was a lack of plates, food and drink. The restaurant was understandably busy at breakfast; however, your staff were totally out of their depth and seemed unable to keep up with demand or even begin to control the chaos. The result was having to wait 10 mins to get orange juice, 10 mins for plates. The bread was stale (which I thought was impossible in France!). In the end, we walked out and found a local Patisserie instead. As if this wasn’t enough, Novotel reserved a €300 deposit on my card and even though the bill was settled in full at checkout the following morning, I still haven't had that reservation lifted a WEEK later despite several phone calls to staff at the hotel. As a result, this has caused us to incur charges, is completely unacceptable and has placed a dark cloud over our holiday. It is totally unacceptable for you to take a ‘reservation amount’ almost TWICE as much as the room originally cost. I will be pursuing this matter separately after consulting my lawyer. We booked this hotel as we were driving 500 miles to Avignon that day and wanted somewhere nice to stay at the end of it. Our experience would have been better if we'd stayed in the F1 Hotel next door I feel. This hotel was awful, value for money is atrocious and the fact I clearly made a mistake thinking it was a good idea to stay with Novotel has spoilt our holiday. This is something I am not prepared to tolerate and I will be looking to examine this experience further on Social Media and major travel review sites unless Novotel can come back to me with an acceptable response.

About the suite room, the direction planed a total remove for 2018 to get a best product. We understand your hunger about the guarantee anyway my team released the 300€ just after your phone call. It's the first time we have this kind of problem with a bank who is asking us plenty of informations about your stay. Please accept once more our apologies.
