partially renovated rooms, clean, Free WiFi, average breakfast buffet, friendly staff, good location, a lot of renovation is going on at the hotel and around the hotel. nice large swimming pool. 8.5 out of 10 for the 4 star hotel.

Stayed in cairn for the Friday night. Being an Accor plus member you would expect certain services and unfortunately this didn’t happen. The front desk wasn’t overly welcoming, second person on the desk was busy chatting someone and finally when I got served it was ok. When I stay at other Accor plus hotelsgiven a welcome drink which didn’t happen this time

We were informed of the fact renovations were being done in the foyer however we were not aware that this extended out to the breakfast area and the entire front of the hotel. We (and our young children) were also woken by power tools at 6.30 am on one morning. When we checked in no offer was made to take our bags to the room for us (of which we had many) If we were paying a reduced rate for all of this I would understand however we were paying 230 dollars a night. Overall I think once the renovations are done it will be a great hotel to stay in.

I regularly stay at your hotel when I need to stay in Cairns for the night. Your beds are confortable and the location is central to everything. You staff are friendly and a will definitley be back again. Probably no need to pay for the parking again though!

Room good Staff mostly great, breakfast - an egg station would be fabulous. I stayed for five nights same breakfast every day, think you could do better. Also last day no toaster, no explanation - strange Service poolside a bit hit and miss. Would have stayed elsewhere if i knew about renovations, wasn’t on web site that i could see. Outdoor furniture outside room was great. Loved Cairns. Will be back. Great location but not sure i will choose her . Was expensive given disruption of building.

Clearly undergoing renovations, and putting that to one side - booked adjoining room fir us and our 2 kids, get to the rooms and the adjoining doors locked, rang reception, duty manager came, master key did not work, needed maintenance to open - why wasn’t this wasn’t done when the room was prepared? Rooms very basic, bathroom in particular poor, well below 4star standard. Pool very dirty and murky at 430pm, really didn’t want to go in, also pool area not well maintained - dirty wet pool towels left everywhere
