The food for breakfast, lunch, and most especially dinner was very good - they were heartly meals!=) However, it would be good if you can provide more options for snacks. Most of the time, my team were asking if there is any other food for snacks aside from ALL the FRIED food served. This can be done maybe by having steamed versions of those fried foods - especially for a crowd of vegetarian people. Rooms were lovely - I am always excited to sleep in there. I also got to enjoy the fridge though the freezer was quiet small to accommodate all the breastmilk bags I was storing. But yes, I met Okke, one of your staff at the front desk and I think it was Anya, the other staff who were very graceful to ensure that those precious bags are kept frozen in one of your kitchen fridge. Just one suggestion, maybe you can add two small towels aside from the 2 big towels so the guests have alternative towel for hands/feet, etc. The environment, landscape was spectacular! I couldn't say more. =) The only problem we encountered was with Mrs. Wis. An example would be the current situaton: the agreement we had with her is that she will be sending the final LOA to our colleagues last Thurdsday when we checked out but until now, more than 1 week has passed, but we haven't received it yet. We encountered so much difficulty getting confirmation and information from the very start that we, as organizers, almost backed out from Novotel. But still, we did our very best to push through. To cite a few, the following are the challenges we had with Mrs. Wiz: 1. Finalization of the room and amount - I am not sure but it seems that she has difficulty understanding our requirements for single, twin-sharing rooms, how many persons are really coming on what date and time. We have provided her all the detailed information a month before the week of our event but the LOA being sent back and forth to us cannot capture the accurate requirements we stated from our conversations. It took us almost 4 weeks to agree on the number of rooms! We came to a point that we just sent our confirmation EVEN if we have not secured YET her CLEAR, point to point response on us on how is the cancellation policy (it took ages before we got clear information about it!). Another thing is that, we clearly stated that we needed to meeting rooms : Meeting room 1 for 25 people (1ST TEAM) Meeting room 2 for 10 people (2nd team) We are TWO SEPARATE groups in one organization, with separate financial authorities and so what we booked for everyone was the Residential Package so we can avail TWO (2) meeting rooms but in the end, we were charged with the 2nd meeting room (to which, we just agreed to pay just to consider the differences in context on how we versus Mrs. Wiz understood the grouping vis-a-vis the MEETING ROOM requirements. The same happened with the LCD projector to which I signed in during the 1st and last time that we met Mrs. Wiz due to lack of time already (we needed to leave on time from Novotel on October 5th because some of our colleagues needed to catch up with their flights in Jakarta. Yes we used the LCD Projector on the first day (October 2) but we haven't touched it during the 2nd and 3rd day - but we were told that we should pay for it because it was rented outside and was pre-paid so we cannot cancel it? I am still waiting up to now about this beause I requested Mrs. Wizz if we can still cancel, ATLEAST, the projector. 2. We opted to communicate directly with her to make sure that she receives information straight from us but she seems to be neglecting or maybe, we were not her priority in responding to our queries and requests for clarifications. 3. Personally, I was HORRIFIED when a statement from her according to our colleagues in Indonesia was released that SHE CANNOT HOLD THE ROOMS WE HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS ALREADY IF WE ARE NOT TO CONFIRM (send her the signed LOA/agreement). At that moment, the ball was with her because WE WERE ACTUALLY, AND STILL WAITING FOR HER RESPONSE about the cancellation policy (because we do not want to be charged with an amount for those people, around 3 to 5, who have not yet confirmed their flights from different continents and by the rate that we are going with the conversation with mrs. Wiz at that time, she sounded like WE NEED TO CONFIRM EVERYTHING BECAUSE WHAT IS RESERVED IS FINAL AND NOT ALLOWED FOR ADJUSTMENTS ). First, it feels like we were the service provider and she was the CLIENT, demanding confirmation without even giving us ENOUGH information. Confirmation should be easy when we have everything in our hands. Second, it almost feels like we are not welcome in the hotel - that she does not want to accomodate us due to her DISINTEREST to address us directly with our queries, questions, clarifications. 4. The moment we sent the FINAL LIST OF CONFIRMED check in and check out of our team members, we thought that everything was already fixed with the LOA. However, on October 4th, we found out that the LOA recorded was still the 1st LOA so we sat down with Ms Devi and big big thanks to the heavens, she was beyond amazing! We told her the situation and the long story with the LOA and she committed to discuss it with Mrs. Wiz who (for the last part): 5. We just saw her after 5days, literally, on the LAST DAY when everyone of us were checking out and booking our cars going to Jakarta. Clearly, it was an exceptional move for hospitality. I do not know how you do it but is this really normal that the person to whom we have been exchanging discussions, calls, text messages, and emails for reservation - will be the very last person we will meet - despite all the efforts and requests to meet her even during the 1st day of our arrival at the hotel? So yeah, I will no longer go into other details but I hope the management can check with her why such things happened.

Hotel is set in a beautiful surrounding and the buildings are what I love. The staff are all great. Some setbacks which is not major stuff are the breakfast seems more catered for locals. Everything is spicy. And one thing which I dread most is where ironing of pants are at high heat because I can see the material is shining meaning it’s scorched thru. Business pants are ruined. And maybe personal opinion but the room lights are too dim to work.

A well maintained old hotel with lush garden, kids friendly facilities (the compund have rabbit feeding and horse riding at weekend). Other facilities including outdoor tennis yard, swimming pool, and outbound area. Spacious and clean room, friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel at home. A sweet and relaxed short getaway from bustling Jakarta. Definitely will come back.

We like staying in this hotel, since the environment is really like we are in a resort and not in a city like Bogor. Like the hospitality of the hotel staff, and the policy of family breakfast that include 2 children under 16 years old. It will be more excellent if the hotel renovate the room since it's already quite old even though well-maintained. Thank you.

Pros: Love the environtment and design. Its so natural-icious Love the room, quite spacious. Bed is clean Pillows are comfortable Love the outdoor bathub. They allow me ask additional bath salt Love the amenities Love the breakfast Cons: - We put the "dont disturb" sign, but the room was made up when we go out looking for lunch. Maybe some miscomm or lack briefing for the staff - the bed a bit hard for me

We stayed here for our wedding day. We choosed this hotel because we believed that it's managed by professional team and banquet services. But it wasn't, from beginning (invoice was wrong - even until I want to check out they haven't settled my final payment, food testing was late) until on the D day the room was not arranged and the ballroom layout was not managed until the last minutes, amazing!!! Luckily my WO team was very good to managed it by themselves to layouting the ballroom and receptionist of the hotel was helpful for arranging my room. The room is large, but the cleanliness just average and I found my bathroom drainage is not working + bathtub was dirty. Definitely I will not recommend for having banquet service in here, but for room just average and maybe good for family with children to stay. The only thing is good service is during breakfast the staffs the receptionist are helpful.
