The hotel staff were inexperienced with customer service. They were rude and often confused in their roles. One minute they are a receptionist then a barman/woman. Noisy guests, dirty hallways and frozen food and staff experience was just appalling. I would never return again even if I were paid to. The only positive was that breakfast was OK for a continental and pool area clean. This hotel needs extreme work both in the decor and the training of staff. There is also nothing for children. No games in the lobby or anything to make them feel welcome. Get rid of the frozen food, it is not appropriate to serve that rubbish to anyone. Invest in a toaster and have fresh toasted sandwiches ordered in, no preparation needed just pop them in a toaster. A hotel should always provide tea and coffee in the rooms. This hotel failed. Send staff on a customer service hotel management course. The cost of this would be eventually returned in happier customers returning. Provide a shuttle service for a small fee into the town of nauchatel. And get rid of the lobby old fashioned decor. The old patterns on those carpets would give any person a headache. I wish I could manage this hotel, I would send figures soaring. Such a wasted opportunity with this hotel, just no love in it whatsoever!

This was one of the most pleasant Ibis hotels I've stayed in over the years. The room was bigger than most, and scrambled eggs were available for breakfast. It was also one of the more reasonably priced hotels for Switzerland.

« Adequate for a short business stay, but watch out for the mice in the lobby! »

Good problem-free 3 night-stay. Chose hotel becsuse of very close location to a nearby industrial estate where is located the company I had to visit. My hotel room was quiete and clean. Brekfast was OK, as was the staff. Good value for money considering this is Switzerland where everything is extremely expensive. HOWEVER, be aware that on one evening when we had a drink at the bar / lobby area, a mouse had invited itselc in the hotel. We saw it several times running between tables. This is quite funny but nevertheless not the kind of scene you expect in the hotel!! The hotel staff saw it too.

Everything standard, although a bit aged. really bad however was the small queensize bed which was on rolls and just pushed together. One wrong movement during the night and it came apart. breakfast OK; didn't try the TV

« I expected more and the cost of breakfast!!!! »

Overall I was very disappointed, we arrived fairly late due to delays and the twin single wasn't made up and there was not enough of towels (Both issues were quickly rectified by the staff who were more than helpful) We had breakfast that morning which was OK however £40 for three breakfast is extreme, i'm not sure how an Ibis can justify that price. his is not my first stay in an Ibis hotel and i expected better.

Bedding and bed confortable; room cold on entry, warmed when a/c adjusted from 10C!! Wooden floor felt sticky, room had odour of cleaning product. Bathroom fine.

the hotel is too far away from city center..there are some buses but they dont operate after 19:00 and on sundays..i paid 90 euros for the hotel and 150 on taxis..

Stayed for 2 nights, clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff, unfortunately very limited food options for dinner. I was without any means of transport, so I was bound to the hotel for my dinner options. As a platinum Accor member, besides a welcome drink nothing is offered, which is rather poor.

The hotel is located away from Neuchatel, so a car is needed if you want a dinner. This is an Ibis hotel, so the menu is limited. The room and bathroom is clean and specious. A bit dated, but all is functioning perfectly. The staff is friendly and correct. The breakfast is good.

I'm a frequent customer of this hotel and for the first time, the room was very cold despite the heater turned ON... I asked if there was any problem with it and the Clerk told me that the hotel was really empty that night and it explain why it was cold. I requested an extra blanket but still it was feeling like below 19 degree celsuis.
