All the service at the Novotel was fantastic. I wanted an update on the furnishings in the room too, and a king sized bed and iron in the room would have been great!

The Novotel Dakar is a fine hotel, but could use significant improvement in certain areas. - there is no gym - the buffet breakfast and lunch had very few vegetarian dishes - nearly everything had meat or seafood in it, even the salads - the room windows are extremely thin, and the loud music from nightly events goes directly into the room, making it impossible to sleep - for some reason there were many, many bugs in my room - the TV is extremely old: very small, with very poor quality

Service was excellent so fat and especially friendly team at the restaurant. Room service was at the expected level. Once concern is only the reception team needs more smiles with the customers . I feld that the guys can't handle the customers under pressure. Other then than all was excellent.

A letdown. The hotel is in OK shape. Breakfast buffet is average. Additionally there isn't a fitness despite what some of the advertising may say. When I found out about it, as an Accor Club member, I went to the nearby sustrr hotel, the Pullman Taranga. There I was ask to pay a ridiculous daily rate of $35 to access their gym. Needless to say I walked away. Pretty disappointing

I like the room. It was comfortable. Beds are important to me. I always woke up refreshed. Service improved after my initial complaint. Food variety was good. Hotel is clean. I liked that too.

Food was good. Actually improved from previous visits. Room was nice and clean. Staff were superb and helpful. WIFI was supercharged and fast. Thank you. Made working very easy. Only bad point - The Air-conditioning in the rooms is non existent. Thus I could not sleep very well. Maintenance did try to assist but it was not improved. Please install ceiling fans in the hotel on the next upgrade.

Good excpet for the following problems: AC in room was not working properly i.e. could not get down to 20 degrees C. The room was too hot. The service at the bar area was poor. We had to keep asking to be served.

I spent a week with you and was delighted by the quality of your staff, the warmth of welcome and support provided. I was facilitating a complex meeting with high level participants and we had an excellent venue and support, with very well managed facilities, coffee breaks etc I did have a couple of challenges with rooms - the 1st one smelled of cigarette smoke (despite being non-smoking!) but I was moved rapidly. The food in the restaurant was ok but I would have loved more spicey local food!

The rooms were big and comfortable. The breakfast selection was very good. The internet was good, enabled a lot of meetings and calls Only downside was the music/bands on some evenings. Very loud especially Friday and Saturday and for those with rooms facing the ocean the noise was rather high

Check-in was nice and smooth, but the room was smelly and the carpet was in urgent need of replacement. Just look at the door outside of room 752! The food is ok but not very tasty and the outside tables were full of bird droppings when I tried to relax there in the morning. Clearly a lack of customer focus and lack of building management commitment. It was not worth the money I paid. This was not a business trip. I paid it with my own money and would not do it again. Very disapponted
