« Could be better »

I staied in the hotel the previous week and I provided all my data. Apparently none of them was saved. At the reception we had to go trought the all process again (10 min)! At the end of the stay I didn't receive the invoice by mail and I had to call the hotel to have it! In the room all lights were broken, I had to go back to the reception and ask for the maintenance. I presume that you can check the status of the lighting by yourselves without having the guesta complaining about that!

Very good, as always. I regularly stay at the hotel. I have one comment on the take-away breakfast. I normally don't have breakfast in the hotel but reserve a take-away breakfast. I select the 'deluxe' option and typically find that something is missing: the extra yoghurt or piece of fruit ... A kind reminder to check that the contents of the take-away breakfast are complete. Thanks.

« Nice stay in a quiet location »

Stayed here whilst visiting some relatives in Breda. A quiet location just off the main highway. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. There aren’t any usb points in the room so do remember to bring your own adapter if travelling from the UK or US. Adapters are available for sale in the hotel lobby. Housekeeping wasn’t very thorough but we could live we it.

« I stay on a regular base , this time was the worst »

Shower head was broken and leaking only found out in the morning , Heating did not seem to work well in room 123 , service in the restaurant was terrible - after an hour we were told no veggie burger for my colleague he was given a plate of rice charged 19 euros ! we then complained this was removed - no wine list but recommended a Spanish red worth 5 euros - charged 37,50 are you kidding me !! my chicken satay was a disgrace and cold - this is the first time I have even complained to a hotel . I stay at least once a month in the Breda Hotel - frankly speaking there have been some short comings in the restaurant service but forgiven this time it was over the top !!!!!

My only criticism is not having steak on the menu in BRGRS N STEAKS restaurant. Really wanted a steak, had a burger instead, burger was excellent. But REALLY wanted a steak!

Old rooms, no upgrade rooms. For instance: The shower tub is the nineties-era Ibis-style monolith with small side glass, where much water leaks on the bathroom floor. Secondly:Reservation without breakfast, none taken, but bill with breakfast.

« Unusually disappointing, food and room temperature.... »

Check in was fine and friendly, however room was very cold and heating system didn't work. Dinner was disappointing, starter was fine but then having asked for a medium well burger, this was served rare (which i cannot eat). I think due to a busy restaurant I wasn't asked about my meal for 35-40 minutes, by which time I didn't want a replacement. The staff were very nice, just too busy in my opinion. It's a shame as usually enjoy my stay.
