We stay regularly in the Novotel hotels in Europe. But the worst of all. A hard and dirty bed for our 15 year old daughter . The Breda Novotel . was cheaper much cleaner and with a larger room . Disappointing

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights - MON TO FRI. Hotel looks amazing outside an in, love the nature vibe I got from the place with a lot of plants and green colours. All local amenities close by and easy to access. The real selling point of this hotel has to be the reception staff. Throughout the stay they were all amazing (unable to get their names unfortunately as didn't have much spare time). Any reception staff member working anywhere between May 7th to 11th was amazing and really helped me as it was my first time in Amsterdam and first time travelling alone and they helped make it a great experience. Very friendly, relaxed people and were happy to answer my many questions. Will most likely be travelling to Amsterdam every 3 months and I hope I can find this hotel available each time as I'd stay here every time without fail. 5*

Hotel overall was good and breakfast was very good.. But there were some things that did not meet my expections having visited Novotel hotels around different cities. There was no doormat in the toilet. There was no lotion provided One day room was not cleaned up Only one water bottle was provided for the entire stay. I am a silver member and the privileges for silver member included late checkout. I did request for a late checkout at the time of arrival as well. However I was told it will be free for gold and platinum members only. And €10 per hour will be charged for late checkout. I checked out before 1400 hrs and was charged €30 (for 2 extra hours) which appeared in the invoice. I am not sure about the inconsistency of member previlages in the Accor chain of hotel in different parts of the world.

Is it possible maybe that you placed the "Do not disturb" sign on your door and you forgot to remove it? In Novotel Amsterdam City we provide the late check-out to the gold and platinum members out of charge. All good other than the complimentary upgrade. When I asked what extras came with the upgrade I was told the list. However, I was told the complimentary minibar was not complimentary. I did question this as your room upgrade marketing clearly said complimentary minibar. It's either an upgrade with all the benefits or it's not an upgrade

A comfortable friendly hotel. Very clean everywhere. Has a small cafe for when not wanting meals. Dinner very nice. Only draw back was price of food and that it was not central into Amsterdam although tram was just across the way to go into Amsterdam.
