I was not satisfied with our stay this time. I am a loyal customer to accor hotels and have always enjoyed staying at your chain of hotels. However our stay was not pleasant, I was very disappointed that the shower was not working and when I notified the staff upon checkout I was not greeted with an apology, i just got the response of 'oh ok'. Also the staff at the reception were not very friendly, I found them abrupt. Also upon checkout I was made to wait while the reception was left unattended, again I never got an apology for the wait.

I was given a lovely room on the second floor on check-in and had a lovely sleep in a very comfy bed! Just on r thing could have been better - only one person on reception at check-out but some onelse was flicking through a file rather than acknowledging or helping clear the queue if people waiting!

Phoned hotel to book twin room with walk in shower rather than a bath. Was told only accessible rooms had walk in showers. Booked twin accessible. Arrived at hotel. Asked for my room requirements. Told again it had to be an accessible room as all others had baths. Went to room to find it had a double bed. Back to reception who sent housekeeper to split bed into twins. She came to do it but it was a fixed bed. Back to reception. Housekeeper asked if we really needed an accessible room. Told her we needed a walk in shower but reception and reservations told us only available if we booked accessible room. Housekeeper laughed and said it was stupid as they had around 80 rooms with walk on showers!!! Incredible that both receptionists and reservations did not know the room types in their hotel!! When checking out at peak time of 9.00am next morning only one receptionist on duty with long line of guests waiting to check out. Other receptionist just waltzing around not doing very much. Not a terrible stay but there are much better hotels in the area for a similar price.

My wife and I stayed one night so that we could go and see our grandson in his school production. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The children's food menu is a bargain too!

The room was cold as the heating didn't work. The restaurant dinner was adequate but could easily have been improved in presentation and selection. However, the staff were very helpful and provided an extra bed cover which resulted in a good, warm night's sleep. The breakfast food wasn't hot - just warm. Again, room for improvement.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating , the room was clean and comfortable. There are only two things which I think spoil the newly refurbished rooms 1) there is only an electric socket on one side of the bed 2) the kettle is placed on a shelf nowhere near an electric socket ( why put it there if you can’t use it there?)

i didnt make use of teh dining facilites as had work to do but will next time on 2nd April so will comment further. The only downside is a lack of leisure facilities which i like when i stay away, its not a criticism of the standards though

Very well looked after,my booking didn’t show up on there system but the gentleman amhad made sure I had a booking for when I arrived as I was travelling with my young baby.it was my 30th birthday and I arrived to my room with a lovely couple of brownies and a beautiful birthday card.the next day I was at breakfast and was chatting to the lovely lady Kathleen who gave my baby some bananas to come home with because he has a lot of allergies so can’t have normal baby food or our food it was the little gestures that made it so much nicer Kathleen and amhed went the extra mile Thankyou so so much

not good! extremal unconfutable night with skin pealing off the back of my gums. it was so bad I could not eat breakfast in the morning that I paid for. this was caused by someone putting granulated sault into a sault grinder pot, (I have photos if you want to see them) so when I went to put sault on my food, it came out like a waterfall! I didn't see all of it until I had a mouthful off food. I quickly had a drink to try and wash it away. but throughout the evening it got worse and worse eventually starting to take the skin off my gums and mouth. I was in room 330 opposite the door on the first floor, every time the door opened on the landing my door banged and woke me from what little sleep I was getting. and lastly - £8.50 for a glass of read wine! wow. I work for siemens and as a company we use your hotel a lot, and I stay away a lot, I never complain about anything but I have to say this was a very bad stay and I could not eat food for the rest of the day after for how uncomfortable I was. I have even been to the doctors! wasting my time and holiday to make an appointment. I was told I have sault burns and there is not much I can do but to let it heal on its own. I really do hope you take all this onboard and train your staff what sault goes in what pot! to prevent this from happening again. thank you for reading. Regards Tommy h. 07…04
