Very disappointing. The shuttle bus did not come to terminal so I had to pay as much as it would have cost to go to Cairo to get to hotel. Staff near po was not very attentive and food was mediocre. Room was depressing.

I booked this hotel at the Cairo airport because it was on the airport grounds and I had an early morning departure. The staff was efficient during the brief check in & check out procedures. The price was very reasonable. My room in the newer part of the hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly.

A good hotel, as is the chain, good location and good transport service to the airport. Also good reception and restoration facilities. But... the rooms on the fourth floor, there are beds with broken legs, toilets that smell bad, although it is bearable if you are passing through. Our experience was good in general, two days, but every time we asked for something in the room or for dinner at the restaurant, we had to pay in cash or credit card, distrust makes them not accept charges to the room account.

I recommend that you chose another hotel, like Le Meridian which is also very close to the airport. Novotel was very dirty, the services was absolutely terrible, and the food was not very good. My dissatisfaction started prior to checking in, I called the hotel to arrange pick up from the airport and the man who answered the phone did not speak English and hung up the phone 3 times. On my fourth try, he transferred me to an English speaker associate who told me their shuttle goes to the airport every 30. Upon my arrival the same person who hung the phone on me checked me in as his English speaking coworker was attending another person, he checked me in and gave me a bedroom with two beds even though I reserved a queen bed bedroom. Then he gave me a non smoking room where someone had clearly smoked. In addition to that, he added one breakfast to my reservation instead of two (I was with my husband). To top it all off, I paid for late check out but NO ONE in the front desk knew this and they deactivated my room card when we went downstairs to eat breakfast. I was so displease with the service that I decided to start reading the hotel reviews, it turns out many people complained about the cleanliness of it. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to making my reservation. The bad reviews have a hotel manager who comments on them stating that the problem will be fixed, let me tell you this, everything bad that you read is true and has not changed one bit. The rooms were dirty. The food was terrible. They advertise a full service spa but they only provide one service (Swedish massage). The service from the staff was incredibly hostile. I usually do not write reviews but my husband and I were so disappointed with this hotel we felt it is important to warn others about it.

Worst Novotel I ever spend time in. Carpets in the hallway to the rooms were dirty and partly torn. Carpet in the room were in the same condition. Bathroom in the room were worn out. Breakfast - 1 chef with one stovetop were servicing up to 50 guests snd more. I did not get any egg, due to waiting time.
