« Very average. »

Room was average - there were 4 of us staying and I don't think the arrangements were sufficient. The bed provided for the children was extremely poor. The breakfast the next day was very poor, the staff "welcoming" us were rude and unhelpful despite us arriving well within the timings.

« Great short stay »

We stayed at the Novotel Arenas - Nice, in between flights from Singapore to UK. Good soundproof rooms, comfy beds, and more spacious than most of the hotel rooms in Nice. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the fresh fruit. The staff was really great and went out of their way to help us. Shuttle to and from airport is a blessing. Close to bus stop going to Nice old town. Thank you Novotel for a great stay!!!

« Nice room, quite small, but close to the airport. »

Room was clean, the rollaway bed I requested was not in room at arrival and when I called to inquire, was told all rooms were booked and none were available even though my reservation was booked months in advance.

transfer to hotel from airport required a 'phone call from customers service to the hotel - the bus came to pick us up at bus station, stop 7. The breakfast on offer was excellent. The only complaint would be the standard of the food offer from the bar. Attention to upgrading the offer would be useful.

I stay regularly at IBIS Hotels (Business and Gold card) - always really, really good and staff helpful. Novotel was complete disappointment. Arrive at 11pm, waiting in long queue to check in. As had travlled late with work, I was told there was no room service at 11pm. I would have to go to bar and "maybe" they could get me food. 5 staff at bar and restaurant, I had all my bags. I politely ordered and waited for a croque monsieur and one of the five staff put it on a tray wit a bottle of coke. Then the five staff watched me struggle with my trolley bag, rucksack and now tray with croque monsieur and coke to lift (where one needs to insert one's card to access floors. I am a robust and self sufficient individual who doesn't ever complain and I have historically given only great reviews for other Accor hotels - but this sort of "not my job as it is after 11" is terrible and the manager should sort it out. If I did that in my business I would be out of business.

« The worst experience ever. »

After a very long, hot day of traveling, I arrived at the hotel to find that there was no running water to shower or bathe. So I decided to go down to the lobby to have a cool drink and a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the World Cup was on and all the employees were absorbed either in watching it or in socializing with each other. It took 45 minute to get someone to take and order... 90 minutes in... my food finally arrived that was the wrong dish. I told them to forget it. Honestly, training across the board is required here. It's no one's fault that there was no water, but the staff was unapologetic and seemingly couldn't be bothered to provide service to a weary traveler. What kind of a hospitality brand is that?
