When we arrived, I asked and was told that we didn't need to pre-oder shuttle "just show up 5 minutes before." When we showed up, we are told that the shuttle ran every 30 minutes. An empty shuttle sat there as we waited 25 min. for the driver to come. Then there were more people than could fit into the shuttle. Your website is misleading-it doesn't say that breakfast is extra and not included. There was a luggage cart but we were told we had to pay to use it.

Concerning the shuttle , I'm sorry for the misunderstanding , in fact you have to show up 5 minutes before the departure time of the shuttle , which is every 30 minutes , concerning the fact we need moreless 20 minutes to go and to come back from the airport . About the breakfast , I checked your bill and apparently we didn't charge you for breakfast , and for the luggage kart , you need one coin ( or one platic coin ) to put Inside the kart to use it , when it's done you get back your coin when you drop the kart after using it. « The room smelled of smoke and the staff was rude and unhelful »

Every staff member was rude. They actually yelled at us when we asked for help. There was a terrible traffic jamb outside but the staff just kept repeating unhelpful advice. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. At dinner the maitre de was horrible to us. He acted like we were imposing on him. Then, when we wanted to pay with cash, he said he had no change so we ended up paying several euros extra to give him only bills. Finally, we have two extra charges on our credit card even though we bought nothing except dinner and wine for cash. I will never come back and will be hesitant to stay at any Novotel again

As Always, Novotel provides a good alternative when traveling as a family with Children, you know what to expect, and Novotel delivers. It is not the fanciest Place around, but it is functional, Clean and comfortable. We had a great meal in the restaurant, and the breakfast was good. Good parking. Due to Construction work, it was difficult to drive there, but that cant be blamed on the hotel. Very Quick check-in and check-out!

« Disastrous shuttle service »

This is a good value, simple hotel. The only problem is the shuttle service from and to the airport. We waited for more than an hour late in the evening before we could get to the hotel. Going back to the airport next morning was also a 40 minutes wait. Very disappointing. Friendly staff is a plus.

« A great overnight stay. »

Very good service from beginning to end. The shuttle from the airport was a good start and the welcome at reception was very warm and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious while the excellent beds and bedding gave a good night’s sleep. Service at the bar and restaurant was attentive and we enjoyed our evening meal. Breakfast next morning was varied and plentiful. Will definitely stay again.

« Smell of mold »

Hotell had a strange smell of mold. Breakfast had poor selection, was not appetizing enough. Staff was not sufficiently attentive to guests, and was not effective in handling requests. I am not a difficult guest, but all in my group agreed not to use hotel again. -Norwegian guest.

Old and dirty hotel, plastic cups that belong in a 1 star motel, rude and arrogant staff, car park door that doesn’t work. Would never stay in a Novotel again in Europe if this is what to expect - far below the normal standard experienced in Australia

Clean rooms. Breakfast can be improved. First morning at 9, there was no bread anymore avaible. Cooking eggs doesn't work. Welcoming was not so nice and proffesional. Changed rooms because the elevater makes alot of noise. Reception was wondering when I told them. But you can realy heard it.

« Clean, Comfortable, Convenient Hotel located across from Nice Airport and Arenas District, close to Bus 52 which provides a quick ride to the center of town, next to Asian Art Museum »

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Novotel Nice Arenas. We've stayed here many times before and were never disappointed. They provide a shuttle to the airport which is available 24 hours a day and an easy 5 minute walk to Terminal 1. It is easy to hop the bus 52 which runs from the airport into the heart of Nice and the Nice tramway Line 2 from the airport to the city central is under construction and well underway. The Arenas area is being further developed and there are banks and restaurants and nearby the Asian Art Museum and Parc Phoenix - a botanical garden/zoo. The Novotel rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and professional. The restaurants offers a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner and there is bar.

The hotel was a good value and location is near the airport as well as convenient bus stops into the city. Room was clean and well appointed. The staff were able to speak English which was a big plus for a first time visitor to France. Breakfasts were generous with a good selection of choices.

« Very disappointed with stay. Usually quite nice. »

A/C did not work. very warm and uncomfortable. Food was very poor People were friendly and transportation to and from airport terminal was good. in dining room. we arrived at hotel around 7 pm and went to room very tired from 2 week stay in France. Room was warm so we went to dining for wine and a lite dinner,. My Croque Monsieur was uncutable. Waitress brought over a steak knife and also unable to cut it. Brought it back to kitchen for a new sandwich. By the time we got upstairs we were exhausted and the room was hot.we were too tired to repack and move so we suffered in silence. All in all, the worst stay at any inn or hotel we have stayed in in France. We have stayed in Novotels in our many trips in last 25 years. Le Harve,Marrsaille,Juan les pins, Paris, Orleans, etc.
