« Quality hotel within walking distance of the airport »

My 3-day stay was trouble-free in this clean, well-located hotel with excellent staff. Breakfasts start at 5am, which was ideal as I had an early flight on my final morning. There is a also a decent restaurant plus bar within the hotel. My 9th floor room was clean and spacious and I had a wonderful view towards the airport.

One big problem was the inability to control the heat in our room. Too hot; the thermostat unresponsive. It made for an unrestful night.

« Short business trip to Côte d'Azur »

Due to late arrival, I was looking for a hotel close to the airport and to A8 motorway. This hotel is opposite the airport but well sound-proofed so no disturbance from air traffic. Friendly and efficient check-in staff, bar staff and restaurant staff. I would consider this hotel if I am in the area again

The registration desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the navette ride to the airport. The only problem I would mention was that the soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower was broken and the hair dryer also needed repair. It was a little disappointing. But the wonderful staff helped make up for those minor issues.

Very nice Novotel and we have stayed in ones in Venice,Montreal,Ottawa and Toronto recently. Front desk efficient as was bar. Dinner service seemed a little confused, but maybe staff being trained. Shuttle to Terminal 2 fast and efficient.

« Nice hotel, but simple request not met »

We are regular visitors and always book a family room with double bed and sofa bed, for us and our 2 children. We always request separate bedding for the children as they are now too old to share. Very often this request is not fulfilled and we have to ask again on reaching the room; on this occasion, again, the extra bedding was not provided. It is very irritating as we arrived tired after a long journey. We love the hotel but wish you could follow these instructions. My only other comment is that we would love to have breakfast at the hotel, but the price is far too high!

« An example of care »

We had been traveling for exactly 24 hours when we reached the airport information desk and called the hotel for the shuttle. We were told to wait at a designated spot outside and the shuttle would pick us up in 5-10 minutes. We waited at least 20 minutes, but no shuttle. So I walked back to the info desk, called the the hotel again and found out the hotel shuttle was blocked by another car and could not leave. So we had to walk - which was not at all a bad walk, but not after having wasted so much time. When we got to the front desk, I was naturally frustrated, extremely tired. The lady who checked us in was empathetic, listened to me, demonstrated she cared, smiled, apologized for the situation, checked us in quickly. I was really impression with her actions. It is rare in the service industry to find someone who can diffuse a negative situation with compassion and grace. I wish I had taken her name, but she deserves 5 stars for completely redeeming my experience.

Check in staff offered a welcome and service to perfection - 11/10. The only negative was the incredibly noisy air conditioning, which you can not turn off, as the windows do not open
