What we have paid is not worth the service we had. Breakfast is not great ( 2 star quality instead of 4 ) bacon, sausage and eggs are cold. When we had dinner on our first night we were served by a waitress who does not speak english and keeps on speaking to us in local language (french). As far as I know a hotel (service industry) should be efficient and convenient to its guest in making sure they provide exceptional service. And one thing that pissed me off so much was our last night, my sister in law stayed there for four nights as well so we had a bit of family bonding on their room in 4th floor (which they have to move on by the way as there were so many ants there). During that night that we are having nibble, we phoned ROOM (worthless) SERVICE for drinks and asked for a couple of plates, we were told that they dont have time to go up to bring it to the room and we need to go down. WE NEED TO GO DOWN TO GET IT! What kind of room service is that. You should change the name to SELF SERVICE Instead. I went down to get the plates and drinks as I dont have a choice, after going back to the room, I forgot to get fork, so I called in again and asked a massive favour and see if they will be kind enough to understand that I will go down again and they might bring it to the room, unfortunately I got the same answer, I need to go down again. I was so pissed that I phoned the reception and asked for a manager, I was transferred to room service thinking that i will be able to speak to someone who is incharge, but the person who answered was the same guy I spoke with. I could not take it anymore so I just asked my sister inlaw to go down to get the fork. I didnt get the chance to complain in person. By far, this is the worse experience that I had in staying in a Hotel. You rate yourself 4 STAR? You dont even deserve 1. Please look onto this as I feel sorry for those who will experience this.

Concerning the issue that you've had in room 406 ( the ants ) I do remember that we managed to change room ( to the 408 next door ) as fast as we could in the next morning . About the restaurant , please allow me to express my sincerest apologies , during your stay , we've had in France a major strike ( so many passengers couldn't fly so they came at the hotel meaning a lot of activity and some of the staff member couldn't come to work due the train and bus strikes ). « I'd come again in the same circumstances with one big difference. »

With the national strikes, I was very happy to be staying in a hotel close to the airport. My business meeting was only about 35 minutes away on foot the next day (I couldn't get a taxi because of an accident and also the continuation of the strikes. The room was nice, the bathroom, the bed, the linen, the temperature. Two things were not good however, one much more important than the other. The first is that I called the hotel to tell them that I had arrived at Terminal 2. Ne vous-inquietez pas Monsieur. On sera la d'ici 10 minute, un petit quart d'heure. 25 minutes later, I called the hotel. No one answered. I kept calling with no answer for the next 10 minutes. Finally someone answered and said they would check on it. The shuttle arrived 3 minutes later. That wasn't a huge problem, more of a bother. The big problem was that I needed to eat dinner and I looked on Trip Advisor for suggestions. Despite the warnings (and the lobbying done by the shuttle driver to get me to eat in the restaurant) I decided to do it. I got the Steak de Thon. It was hardly cooked, horrible taste, reheated puree de pomme de terre, and (this part bothers me because I fell for it) the sauce was listed as "fois gras" and if that added a touch of class and quality. It was infect. My stomach hurt afterwards, despite the fact that I only at one of the two tuna steaks, and I woke up the next morning with a pain in my stomach still. Consequently, I only ate a small breakfast and started the day and business meeting off on the wrong foot. So, I'd come back, but I would take the shuttle to Terminal 1 and walk over, and then I would probably steer clear of your restaurant no matter how far I needed to talk. Airport food would have been better.

Reliable, clean and reasonably priced hotel. I stay here often when I am catching an early morning flight out of Nice. The restaurant continues to be an anomaly. The service is indifferent. The wait staff is hard to flag down. They are either not there or they are looking at the ceiling when they pass by.

I was booked on the last flight coming into Nice and of course it was 1h late. Novotel arenas is the best choice in this case: 10 min walk from the airport, fast check-in and comfy bed
