« Nice, quiet, good activities for kids »

Room was clean, restaurant service was good, kids enjoyed the pool, foosball table, ping pong table, fitness center. Only problem is that I asked for extra towels because we used the towels for the pool but receptionist said the hotel does not provide additional towels.

« Perfect for what we needed »

We were able to check in as soon as we arrived which was before 4pm. Lady at check in was very helpful and smiley. We had booked 2 rooms for our family and they were conveniently near to each other. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We went to Parc Asterix which is only one junction down the A1 from this hotel so it is perfect location. Breakfast was good but very busy and I'm not sure enough staff were working before 9am to cope with the amount of guests wanting breakfast at that time. However, again staff were very helpful and friendly. Kids loved the reception area where there are lots of activities to keep them entertained. Parking was easy and gates are shut so you can rest easy that your car full of holiday stuff is safe. This is the third time we have stopped at this hotel and will definitely be back next time we go to France and Parc Asterix.

« Very low level of service »

Unfriendly receptionist, very sleepy, couldn't even bother to tell me what my room number is. Horrible experience at breakfast, we had to clear the dishes ourselves to sit on the table - there was no one there to receive us - took 15 minutes to get a chance to cook an egg, 2 coffee machines were not working. At least the beds were fine

« Needs more Maintenance »

Although the reception was welcoming there was lots not working. Air con was broke, toilet was broke, dinner took ages to come and staff not really trying to serve you. Although issues were mentioned, nothing was done. Real shame.

« Poor service and trouble getting deposit back »

It was extremely disappointing. Service in the restaurant was very poor, with long waits for anyone to serve us. To look at the dessert menu we had to go and find someone, who still took an age to come. After over 20 minutes waiting for a bottle of water and desserts we cancelled them. The hotel also took a €450 deposit for the room after I had to change bank cards. This was almost 3 times the actual room charge and isn’t something I have ever had at other hotels. A week later I am still waiting for the refund to go back into my account. I contacted the hotel several times and they basically say as far as they’re concerned the refund happened, and are being very unhelpful about confirming bank details they sent the refund to. I would never stay at this hotel again, and would think twice about ever using Novotel again if this is the way they operate.

Not good see above. No food no drinks. Kitchen closed before 22.30 and for sure no friendly service to be expected from a french crew towards foreigners.

« The bathroom was nice! »

Our room looked tired and in need of a refurb. The fridge had mould growing over the drainage hole inside and the shower head was loose meaning the flow of water did not form a spray but dribbled down the pipe. On the whole though the bathroom was much better than the bedroom. Considering how much we paid there are better alternatives out there.

The hotel is ok. Nice green park, fine swimmingpool. The rooms are as usual at Novotel, but not perfect clean (bathroom) and the extra's like showergel, towels, complementary water were poor if you stay with 2 adults and 2 children.

We love to stay at Novotel hotels, but this one was disappointing. The room (we had an executive room) was very small. There was hardly any space around the bed and the sofabed. The room wasn't cleaned properly (strangers hairs on the bathroom floor and there was a dirty bowl + spoon right in front of the entrance door). Breakfast was also not up to the usual standards: limited choice, a lot of things were out (no scrambled eggs, no bread, no pancakes) even though we were there around 9:45. Definitely not 4 stars. Guests were smoking at the pool, right next to our (and other) children. The location near the highway is good.

« Slept beautifully, evening meal v.disappointing »

Bedroom was fine. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant has let the hotel down. The pizza for our son arrived 15 mins before our steaks and our steaks arrived slightly warm. The chips for all three of us arrived luke warm just as our son finished his pizza. The "signature" sauce to go with our entrecote was tomato ketchup mixed with a berries!

« Worst Stay, Ever »

We stay in Novotel hotels every year, as a break in our journey to our home near Toulouse and again on our return north; Survilliers Saint Witz in July and Orleans in August, and never have we been more disappointed than on this trip. The staff were rude and the food ran out. We were ignored for most of our meal, which took forever to come after an even longer wait for our order to be taken. I hope our next visit receives better service.

The service was slow, the waiter at the bar didn't seem te know what he was doing. The breakfast was a mess. Loads of people without a table. Bad food. The room noisy. And this all for a lot of money. I will never return here.

We had an issue with our final bill which they couldn’t resolve. We paid to much and they couldn’t show me the restaurant bill that was added to our account but they wouldn’t refund me. They would get back to me but no one did so far. Really bad service

Room suited us although the bathroom and toilet were not very clean. The evening meal had some items missing off the menu and what we ordered was not as stated. Outdoor restaurant not clean. Check in and out was quick.
