The staff at the reception is friendly and efficient. Rooms are outdated and matrass could be better but overall still good value. Breakfast is great, excellent choice and friendly, welcoming staff, ready to help out.Have stayed several times in this hotel due to the close location of Parc Asterix.

This was a short stay as we arrived after Disney on our way home to Calais. Compared to Marne le vallee Novotel this wasn’t as good. I was left in reception waiting to check in whilst the man was on the phone there was no acknowledgement whilst I waited for at least 10/15 mins. It was clean and comfortable which is all we needed. The gates were absolute nightmare you felt you were in prison someone needs to be opening them quicker and better instructions on which button to press!!

From the outside and inside, the hotel looks old, especially the rooms. Restaurant quality is really poor. Compared with other 4 star hotels, this hotel is on a scale of 2 stars. Will never book this hotel again, high price compared with quality.

Lovely welcome from the staff, as always. Room comfortable and cool. We enjoyed an early dinner and straight to bed (nice to see extra pillows in room as often there aren’t enough) as we were leaving very early the next morning. Love a Novotel Hotel in France!

AN IBIS OR A NOVOTEL?

The hotel is a 1 storey building that make me think it is more an Ibis than a Novotel. However, it includes a nice restaurant staffed by very accomodating people. Food is good and venue is quite nice. At least for the bar side. Restaurant/breakfast side is quite basic in terms of design. But one can still enjoy the terrace by the pool. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy to expect. But you will get what you need to kick off your day. Hotel is 2 minutes away from the highway but there is absolutely no noise coming from outside. You will hear people walking or talking in the corridor distributing the rooms though. Except a car dealer next to the hotel, there is absolutely nothing else. You will need a car to reach the Mc Donalds and myriad of other restaurants that are 3 minutes away. Or it is about a 15 mins stroll if you decide to walk. Hotel car park is large and free. Gate is closed at night and you will have to press the intercom to drive in or out. Our room was big enough to accomodate the 4 of us. The couch unfolds and becomes two small (80cm width?) beds. Enough for the kids. Bathroom and toilet are separated. Bathroom seems to have been renovated not too long ago. Hot water, pressure, cleanliness you have it all. We were 4 but there were only 2 towels in the bathroom. I would have appreciated to 2 extra towels on arrival. The hotel is obviously mostly filled by family visiting Parc Asterix (amusement park) like us. So expect kids running around. The lobby is fitted with board games, video games, toys and other amenities for them to play with. Free of charge. Internet is free of charge. Speed is ok. However, it is a bit of a pain because you can only log on one device at a time. Or need as many email adresses as devices. All in all, our stay was ok.

We stayed two nights here and it’s the second time visiting. We had a family room which was clean and neat. The staff at reception were lovely and the restaurant food was great. Well worth it.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would suggest that baths have a non slip mat. Otherwise bathrooms were fine. Restaurant was good. Breakfast excellent.

Warm welcome and nice atmosphere for a suburban hotel. We would have preferred the sofas not being opened as bed as we rent 2 rooms but it was ok. Although we were surprised by the welcome at the restaurant before being seated, service was nice and friendly. Thank you for the stay in your hotel, it was a pleasant stay.

Overall experience was good, but internet was very slow and dropping a lot of times, dying on the second day. On the second day I would be working from the hotel, but had to leave to the airport hours earlier so I could get internet, because the one in the hotel was not working. Staff was not able to assist and I saw there was another person with the same problem who was in front of me at reception.

Tired and dirty with overworked staff

Stopped off on way north. It was the 14th July so some leeway has to be given but even so was awful. Piled up laundry bags in the hall. Despite arriving at 6.00pm staff still cleaning around us. The cleaning cupboard was left open and was in complete disarray. A billboard for the weekends guests was still in the lobby and explained the fatigued staff. The appetisers we ordered were not at all what was on the menu. The room was dirty with the previous guests toilet paper still stuck on the door and what looked like kick marks on the room door. All in all a bad experience and we will not be back.

Reservation was via Accor website. Worked fine. Hotel is clean and conveniently located for the airport (CDG). Our room was newly refurbished, clean and everything worked. Dinner was fine, good quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast also fine but the price for 2 croissants and a cup of coffee is extortionate. Way too high.

The staff is friendly and I felt very welcomed. However, some improvements are needed for the restaurant and the bar (Staff too young). Overall, the hotel is clean and conveniently located. Some cleaning and work are needed outside the gotel (garden, backyard)

No good communication between the employees. Two rooms for 5 days cancelled without permission and 1 of our Key Account Manager with no room. Not a good behavior of the employees with us.
