Had a nice Friday night stay. Booked a river view room but ended up in a low floor room with some ocean glimpses. Complementary drink was appreciated, along with some pastries in the room. Breakfast delicious.

We only stayed 3 nights, however our room was not serviced once. Both days we were out from 8am until after 4pm and placed the service sign on the door, yet the room was not serviced.

Despite being a gold loyalty member and a number of assurances my room would be ready “soon” I finally checked in around 16:30 because someone had “forgotten” to call and let me know. There was no recognition of status upgrade entitlement, regardless of whether upgraded room was available. Mattress protector on bed was worn to the point of balling, so even fresh sheets felt like there was sand in the bed. Housekeeping was otherwise very good, with room generally cleaned by 14:00. There was also some misinformation regarding my Accor Plus entitlements at the hotel. Only one of the three hotel venues participates in Accor Plus benefits. Despite the above the location is excellent. Huge range of restaurants close by and 150 metres walk from the tram stop.
