The hotel was comfortable enough however is very outdated and requires a refit. The room also lacked amenities such as a nespresso machine, bottle water etc. I have stayed at a few Sofitel locations, and the Broadbeach location is below what I would expect from the brand. The staff were friendly and welcoming, it is only the age of the hotel and amenities that are below par in my opinion.

we had problems with the aircon. first there was no instructions how to turn it off.when ok, it provided flush of air that came right on our bed which proved very uncomfortable and noisy.we had to stay without aircon all night. they delivered a plate of cakes at 5.30 pm which is rather late as we have booked dinner at your restaurant at 6.00pm. we did not expect to have a cake which was nice gesture, but we already organized with friends to meet at a coffee shop after dinner for cake and coffee Did not get enough time to eat your cake. Should have delivered after checking time. we were there just for one night. .

Great location for a work conference

I recently stayed at the Sofitel for a work conference. Since I was only staying for one night but over a two day conference, I found the staff very accommodating in looking after my luggage and also to help find somewhere suitable to work outside of the conference. The location was great and within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and shops
