« An excellent and very Novotel refurb. »

We have stayed at this hotel at least once each year for over twenty years. We enjoy the proximity to the beach and have seen a few changes. The decor had become somewhat tired and the menus were due refreshing. The new 'hip' restaurant, despite a limited menu and the slightest of glitches in service is asuccess. Housekeeping and reception are excellent.

Reception efficient and professional as well as courteous. Room very clean. Not room in accordance with my Accor profile (High floor and shower only in bathroom). Hotel well laid out and obviously just renovated, but lots of small decorative details not finished or already 'worn'.

We did not get the room that we booked The room was a car parks / dune view But all we had was brick wall with no view AT All The room was not prepared to the standard of a Novotel hotel

We had a lovely stay in the newly renovated hotel. The staff were lovely the food was very good, the new room design was beautiful. The few issues we had were that the room still had a lot of builders dust. I know this is normal after building work but I felt the room should of been cleaner. Otherwise it was great. We will definitely stay again in a few months when the building work is completely finished

I have visited this hotel on many occasions over the last 15 years or so. We love the location and the view from the bedrooms with a sea view. We did not use the restaurant as we tend to use restaurants in the town. We have been eagerly waiting for the hotel to reopen and enjoyed our most recent stay as much as we have enjoyed earlier stays.

Hotel location and room was lovely, however we booked an executive room and the room did not come with a mini bar as described, or soft drinks included as described. The toilet had not been cleaned. Not sure what added value we got from the executive room above a normal room.

My wife and I were happy to discover the long-awaited renovations at the Novotel in Le Touquet. We are regular, faithful clients at his hotel, and were pleased to see the chnages. Most worthy of mention = the new restaurant, which has significantly adjusted its menu to a newer, trendy, healthier choice of food.

« Disappointed to get a room where the 'phone didn't work and the toilet leaked, but once we were in a properly functioning room, our stay was great. »

Stayed with family over the re-opening weekend. Staff very hard working and committed. Shame the room we were allocated wasn't ready for habitation. Would have been nice if the room we were moved to had a baby bed and the sofa bed open and ready for our children when we moved into it.

We arrived on the first day after the hotel had been refitted and shut for some months There were teething problems, the reception and maintenance staff did there best to resolve these. However, in the room paper cups to drink tea/coffee out of and plastic glasses for £220.00 per night is not really what expecting . The Holiday Inn just up the road have mugs and glasses

The hotel opened on the after noon we arrived. There were some problems, Both the reception staff and house keeping did all they could to rectify the problems.However £220.00 per night and paper cups and plastic glasses in the room is not acceptable.

I stayed at this hotel with my fiancé and it was a great experience. We used the spa services and it was amazing. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms with sea view and it was so nice! Everything was very clean with great views of the sea. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room and all the hotel staff were excellent. It would be useful to have a better coffee/tea system in the room....especially considering the price of the room. Also, for the price, time of year, etc, it would have been good to have had breakfast included.

« Quite Disappointing New Years Stay by previous Novotel Standards »

We believed we had booked for a Twin Room for 3 Nights 30 Dec - 2nd Jan 4th November. On arrival we were given Room 280 farthest from Reception and no Twin Bed, other than by using a rather ugly Settee. Apparently some Twin Rooms were reserved simply over 31/12 - 1/01. To their credit the reception staff eventually found us exactly what we had booked for in room 142. We had booked "Demi Pension" that is 6 Restaurant Meals however this seems to have totally excluded us from the New Years Eve Celebration Dinner in the Novotel. Instead we were directed to the IBIS Restaurant which is adequate for general use! However its situation on direct links between Guest Rooms and the Spas means that there is a constant stream of guests using this area as a corridor, so not ideal for New Years Dinner. What we had hoped would be a really good start to New Year with the Higher Standards we expect from Novotel ended up being rather ordinary at a rather High Cost.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were generally helpful and efficient. The New Years Eve function was particularly good with the food wine and entertainment of a high standard and despite the relatively high cost we considered it good value for money.
