« Great experience »

I stayed at this hotel with my fiancé and it was a great experience. We used the spa services and it was amazing. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms with sea view and it was so nice! Everything was very clean with great views of the sea. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room and all the hotel staff were excellent. It would be useful to have a better coffee/tea system in the room....especially considering the price of the room. Also, for the price, time of year, etc, it would have been good to have had breakfast included.

« Quite Disappointing New Years Stay by previous Novotel Standards »

We believed we had booked for a Twin Room for 3 Nights 30 Dec - 2nd Jan 4th November. On arrival we were given Room 280 farthest from Reception and no Twin Bed, other than by using a rather ugly Settee. Apparently some Twin Rooms were reserved simply over 31/12 - 1/01. To their credit the reception staff eventually found us exactly what we had booked for in room 142. We had booked "Demi Pension" that is 6 Restaurant Meals however this seems to have totally excluded us from the New Years Eve Celebration Dinner in the Novotel. Instead we were directed to the IBIS Restaurant which is adequate for general use! However its situation on direct links between Guest Rooms and the Spas means that there is a constant stream of guests using this area as a corridor, so not ideal for New Years Dinner. What we had hoped would be a really good start to New Year with the Higher Standards we expect from Novotel ended up being rather ordinary at a rather High Cost.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were generally helpful and efficient. The New Years Eve function was particularly good with the food wine and entertainment of a high standard and despite the relatively high cost we considered it good value for money.

« Enjoyable stay in diabolical Winter weather. »

Friendly and warm welcome by reception staff on what must have been one of the worst days of the year, bitterly cold gale force winds and widespread road closures (A16 and A26) from heavy snowfalls. Excellent room with ocean views and good food in restaurant. Extensive breakfast buffet including hot food.

« Good location but avoid the rooms at the back »

The hotel is well located for the town centre and that was why we chose it. However, the rooms overlooking the car park were gloomy with very small windows and would not justify the price that they command. In addition, 18 euros for breakfast is a disgrace. Not only can I get a decent meal in the evening in a Brasserie for that but, for diabetics like me, who only wants one slice of toast, a boiled egg and a cup of coffee, 18 euros is not acceptable and 5 or 6 is nearer the mark. Otherwise we enjoyed the hotel and would return.

Great location, good service in bar area, didn't use restaurant or spa facilities. I understand the hotel is going to be refurbed in the new year which will be welcomed, as the rooms, bathrooms were looking tired, but still OK and comfortable beds!

Lobby, bar and restaurant were cold! My physician yesterday concluded that in fact i have a reaction to the dust mites that started after 2 nights in your hotel. Not really a healthy stay :-(

All the staff without exception were truly helpful, polite and attentive. The hotel public areas are all clean and presentable, bedroom was very clean with a comfortable bed and a nice sea view. The exterior of the hotel is very dated and very unattractive, but a good location with just a 20minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant area.

Our room had an odor, an odor of an animal, dog or cat; we were offered a new room, but this room was sprayed with perfume which was ok, better but not great. Mold in the bathroom, shower door did not close properly. We ate dinner in the restaurant, too much butter in the pasta sauce and heavy on the salt.

« Very good but... »

Hotel has a great pool - English visitors should be aware you need a swimming hat (although the hotel gave us one free when we lost one) and gents need to wear Speedos NOT swimming shorts etc - this is a common requirement across most French pools so we were ready for this one. The restaurant was great value and a nice meal on both nights we were there - childrens' menu is varied and arrives fast which is what kids need. The only problem was not being able to cool down our room - it was warm for October and noly with the window open could we get the temperature down. Overall a really great and relaxing couple of days in a good position on the dunes and wide beach of Le Touquet.

« Half term visit »

Check in was extremely efficient, welcome text with the car park code was very useful. Staff friendly as always and sea facing room was excellent. The pool was good, I liked the sectioned off portion for lengths, wish that this could have been in effect every day! Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed the putting practice beside reception.

« Perfect location but in need of serious renovation »

Perfect location, direct access to the beach and easy walk to the centre of Le Touquet. I would recommend a room with sea view! FOr families, the direct access to the beach and the pool is a great benefit! However, it was the 4th time we stayed at the Novotel in Le Touquet and it seems that every time, the need of renovation and general maintenance is getting more and more obvious. Very small room for a family, decoration outdated, sand in stairs and corridors... Practical, but great not value for money! ACCOR need to do something soon!
