Great Place to have a break on long trip from south France back home to north of scandiavian. Great staff, very god food, nice rooms, professionel staff in reception a good hotel when you traveling with dogs

The location is very convenient and the hotel is located in nice gardens with a swimming pool. I was allocated a room on the second floor at the end of a very long corridor. There appeared to be only one lift also at the end os a very long corridor. It was a really long walk to my room with luggage. The restaurant used to be in the delightful garden room with a view over the garden and swimming pool. It has been relocated to a very dull brown room on the other side of the building. The dinner menu was a bit disappointing compared to the dinner menu that was served in the nice garden room restaurant. I went to breakfast early and much of the food was not available at 06.30 although the breakfast was open from 06.00am

The hotel feels a bit tired However it serves the purpose. We spent one night to rest on our car trip from Italy baci to the U.K. breakfast was good and rich despite coffee from the machine is not really good.

« Not like it used to be »

We have stayed here before and found it very pleasant, not so this time. The place is very tired and frankly a bit scruffy. I normally find Novotel staff welcoming and proffesional, this time there were very few of them and they seemed like they were too busy to serve guests. Also, it took a long time to get served in the bar, not because it wa busy but because there was nobody there and again, no apology when somebody finally turned up. At breakfast it’s almost impossible to tell who’s staff as they don’t wear a uniform. Also, I think the Welcome drink is a nice gesture but for the first time I was only given one, previously I have always been given one for my partner as well, we are staying together in the same room. Thank you

Rooms okay but public areas shabby and no room in restaurant, as it was full with coach parties. However restaurant staff were very helpful and arranged for full menu availability in bar area

I’m dissappointedHave stayed here before and it seems to have gone down hillStaff are not really as polite and friendly as previously and with very casual dress very difficult to spot from guests. Also as a Silver member I get a welcome drink which has always been added to my partner as well but not here...

Frosty welcome from reception, smelly run down room, no concern or reaction from reception when I informed them of a repair required for the safety of the next guest (door virtually impossible to open/close). Two bath towels for 4 guests. 2 paper cups for the tea and coffee facilities.

Arrived and was told our room was 2nd floor along a long smelly corridor. Got up to our room to find door wouldn't open. Walked all way back down as lift looked like a service lift not a guest lift to be told door key card was fine and should work. We walked all way back up - 3 children in tow and bags to find the door was too big for the frame and we literally had to force it to open. Room was fine didn't think the children's bed was made but discovered it was made and refolded into sofa bed. Went down for dinner after a very long drive we was very hungry. To shut the door took all my weight to pull it closed. At the restaurant the staff were rude, we was rushed to order drinks then our meal options taken. Childs meal arrived very quick and the rest of us sat and waited for 35 minutes until rest of meals arrived. The vegetatian option was €14 for quarter sweet potato, half a courgette, a slice of aubergine and a tomato - which was swimming in grease. Other meals were tiny and expensive everyone was still hungry after spending alot of money on food there. Went back to the room to force door back open. When we got up and went for breakfast at 6am I'm sure with the noise of that door opening and closing we woke most of the floor up. We will be travelling that way a lot during next few years and this is one experience I do not wish to repeat. 4 hotels we stayed at on our travels this time and this was by far the worst. Had high hopes after staying at a different accor Novotel in France but was extremely disappointed.

Friendly personnel, good breakfast. The hotel is out-dated, everything is not up to todays standard. Rooms are ok, but overall it is an out-dated hotel. It should be renovated.

« Family trip:overnight stop »

Overnight stop over on the way to our holiday. Reception staff was very helpful and professional. The room was lovely although the toilet could have been cleaner. The food was good, the service in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss as not all of the waitress seem to know what they were doing. Although the more professional ones did make up for those who forgot to take orders.

Room was old and shabby with dirty old carpets. Corridors were even worse and carpets disgusting. Staff could not speak English. Breakfast was too expensive.

Clean and tidy hotel with good facilities and good restaurant (nice evening meal :)) Conveniently close to the auto-route/highways with limited noise (good for sleeping)

There was a refurbish ongoing so some parts where closed and some smell of paint was present. The room we got would benefit from a refurbish to, but not much to complain about. Nice staff and good food and service in the restaurant

« "Hot " happens... »

... and all the daily routine activities can become difficult or impossible. We thankyou the manager of the hotel restourant for having accepted in for dinner after 10pm. But like we said in person, receiving beers that are not chilled at the right temperature is not acceptable. We would prefer to ear that the fridges were out of service before receiving the drinks at the table.... and therefore have to claim for new ones. The rest of the hotel premises and infrastructures need urgently a cool refreshment as well.
