Hotel was nice, staff very friendly. The menu was pretty poor though (choice), although the food itself was good. Location is good if staying one or two nights, anything else then something nearer the city may be preferred.

Outstanding, in a word. Very happy with my stay with you. I left an electric toothbrush (£150) there when I returned to UK, I called on the Monday and they returned this free of charge and I received it in 4 days! Outstanding customer service!!!

The hotel hs been improved since our last stay to an impressive standard for a Novotel. Good place to stop on the way to the South if France but you do need a good Satnav to find it. Breakfast ok but get it befire 9.30am.

Check in was quick and easy and staff were helpful, room was ok but small for a family of 4 and there was not room really to set up sofa bed. Had to make up extra bed.good location for passing through.

Our stay in the hotel from 16 till 17 August was fine. Good accomodation, good breakfast. When I checked out and paid the bill with my creditcard I saw that a larger amount was still reserved on my creditcard account (€290,- vs real cost €140,-). The lady at the reception said this was usual and would be fixed the same day, 17 August. Today it is 20 August and nothing has been changed. This is why I am not satisfied and want this to be fixed asap. My name is Mr. Stephan V. from Holland. Thanks!

Chaotic reception space: no clear signs, room keys need to be activated somewhere else The staff gives the impression of young students being ppulled from the street the morning before from a fruit market. Room was not properly cleaned and some stuff from a previous visitor was still in some room corners At reception the room key was activated with my Amex card, but later on in the restaurant turned out NOT to be the case; hence to pay on two seperate bills. The bed matelas have been renewed recently with some uncomfortable , very warm-feeling poor latex, clearly a step down compared to other hotels in the same price range.

We(myself and my wife) have used Novotel here and at Reims for overnight stops on our way to south many times. While Reims is at the moment up to normal standard, Bron has been updated ? We were met by 3 Charming Girls (more like Gym attendants) and asked to check in on an ipad/smart phone.There is no normal reception desk,No paperwok etc. we waited ages for our main course in the restaurant because the electronic order failed to go to the kitchen.The hot Breakfast selection consisted of Sausage, Bacon, Both cold because of inadequate means of keeping warm, scrambled egg. or you could fry your own egg.The standard of room we booked was not available because of building work room refurbishments, but we were going to be charged the higher rate until my wife questioned it. Far from progress this is a backward step for people who like traditional service.(Please don't make this the Norm at other locations)

Nous sommes en phase de test qui va être déployé dans très peu de temps sur tout le réseau Accorhotels France, comme il y déjà pu l'être aux UKs il y a 2 ans. For the first time in more than a decade that I use Novotel all around the world I found the quality, the cleaning of the room ( I had to change after done the check in) very very below the usual Novotel standard. For calling for the room services I had to utilize my mobile phone because they said to have a problem with the internal phone line. Very bad

After an entire day of flights, we had to wait for 15 minutes to check in. My room was on the 2nd floor. Elevator was not working so I had to carry my luggage up (during check in) and down (during check out). The carpet in my room is old and had stains. On our first night, we had dinner nearby, and when we came back to the hotel (around 9:30 PM), the gates were closed. We tried buzzing the gate, and called the hotel but there was no response at all. We had to climb over the gates to get in the hotel. Never have I experienced this before.

Hotel is under renovation right now, so not a good time to rate, however, lifts weren't working, had to be let in by staff (no keycards working), entrance area a mess, room smelled like cigarettes despite being a non-smoking floor. Seriously disappointed with this Novotel/Accor hotel, which are usually very clean and as expected. C'est dommage. Warn travelers when booking on your website until renovations are complete.

During my staying hotel was under renovation so many services were not available, such as fitness room, a real restaurant, room services etc. No mention on the accor hotel web site until you confirm the reservation. Paid almost 120eur in B&B

Mr Z., Thank you for taking the time to write to us after your stay at Novotel Lyon Bron Eurexpo. Our hotel is under renovation since November 13th until April 30th, 2018. During this period, the entire hotel, restaurant and seminar rooms will be redone. You may or may not have known our hotel for a few years, the renovations became in our eyes necessary to welcome you in better conditions. We have tried to communicate at best about this important period for the future of our establishment, by indicating this information up front at the hotel reception, on booking confirmations and on the Novotel.com website. The reception has taken possession of our former fitness room to be closer to our guests, the catering service is temporarily arranged to our meeting space. Our teams are at your disposal to accompany you when you travel between the reception and the restaurant via our golf cart, bike or scooter. We have tried to put in place measures, to better organize our various services in order to maintain a service and a quality of service. I am sorry that this one did not live up to your expectations, and I beg you to accept my sincerest apologies.
