As ever, an efficient check in and check out. Excellent bar and evening meal. Staff always solicitous and courteous. We feel comfortable and at home. My only suggestion would be for different pillows. I find the ones provided to be quite uncomfortable, which affects my sleep quality.

Very poor. I told at check in and check out I didn't want breakfast yet I was still charged on fast checkout. I needed to contact the hotel and point this out and I recieved a curt email with no apology. Very poor more disappointing that I knew the staff were not listening when I asked for no breakfast.

Just an overnight stay with our dog. Lovely receptionist who made us most welcome. Room fine and very good outside space to walk my dog. Food in restaurant was OK but maybe the menu needs looking at, although I know it is always the same in Novotels in France.

Wish the elevator was bigger to accommodate luggage amount from long haul flights. Wish the staff had more English. Pity the pool wasn't heated but braved it. Some cups were dirty at the morning breakfast buffet. Average size room with average standard of cleanliness.

Staff great but the hotel is dingy and needs to be refreshed. Dinner was barely adequate as was breakfast. A very basic stopover hotel. Why do we still have to endure the chemical perfume in the washing powder used for the linen and pumped into the rooms by the airconditioning? Vile, makes me feel ill.

Days stay at the hotel was ok, but not great, Specially during my stay, there was a party/conference at the hotel in the evening. The party was done outside in the garden of the hotel but which was surrounding all the hotels room. they blasted the music till quite late.. I complained to the hotel reception to ask to bring the music down but, i had to put my ear plugs to be able to fall asleep which was after 11pm..

I was surprised to find that the shower wouldn't even stay in the shower holder in the top level (the ceiling was in the way). Was told initially that there was no room the the restaurant until 9:30pm, but when enquiries in the restaurant we got in (excellent service in the restaurant). Can't understand why I could add charges to my room, I felt like a second class citizen.

Stayed at Novotel many times years ago. This was the first time for about 6 years. The room was sufficient for my needs but seemed less impressive than those of times gone by. Surprised to see the mini bar no longer in use. Hotel looked tired from outside but once indoors everything was clean and tidy Used the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was expensive for what it was but not unusually so. Sometimes it’s more convenient to use the service when travelling. Travelled with a dog and there was a nice woodland walk close at hand

We have stayed here for many years and it is always OK, but now needs a bit of updating. The bathrooms are very basic and the beds fairly small and pillows are hard. However it is handy for the exhibition centre and has free parking.
