As above - you looked after us well. Only criticism is lack of individual air-conditioning units in the bedrooms. It was hot and stuffy at night, which made it difficult to sleep (after a long journey). Other Accor hotels we’ve stayed in have air-conditioning in the bedrooms...

Our room was very tired and dated. We asked to be moved, and were. The second room was better but still a carpet covered in stains and even cigarette burns! Not up to Novotel standard.

This has become our favourite hotel for our overnight stop when travelling to and fro from UK to France. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and efficient - and most speak some English which is handy if needed. The food, both dinner in restaurant in the evening & breakfast the following morning were fine. The room whilst tired - especially the stained carpet - is of a good size, equipped with safe, mini fridge including a bottle of water & kettle etc. and the bed is comfortable. We like the hotel grounds with pool (cold water), table tennis and tennis although the children's swing & slide were missing this year. The fact that the car park is both secure and free is an added bonus.

Loved being able to take dogs into restaurant and garden. Helpful polite staff. Rooms look a bit tired and could do with carpets replacing but overall very happy and will come back.

Generally the hotel was good but the continuing use of chemical perfumes is overwhelming. Do guests need to be poisened with this stuff! We don't smell that so bad do we? This puts me off staying at Novotel, I use them as a hotel of last resort.

We have been staying in this Novotel Rouen Sud for many years as it is so handy for the exhibition centre and is nice in the summer with the pool (unfortunately always freezing cold!) However recently the hotel is beginning to look a bit shabby and needs a bit of painting and refurbishing in my opinion. The rooms are comfortable enough, although the duvet is terribly thick for summer and one is hot in spite of the window being wide open. The staff are always very nice, breakfast express is good at 8 euros, but it just needs a bit of an update.

We stayed in many Novotel during our stay to France, and keep choosing it because of the service and comfort we always got. This was our first and last time in Novotel Rouen Sud. The hotel is dated, the room are very small, the bathroom was not very clean with black trace on the wall by the shower. In the toilet the floor is coming up with dirt accumulating. We booked a Hotel transilvania Room after seen the advertising of fun night with surprises...only the kid bed and two towels make it a little bit fun but nothing special....The kids bed or sofa bed need to be changed, my two children who are under 10 complained of feeling the springs underneath, so we check and they were very uncomfortable. When I told the staff about it, I just got an OK and no excuse... One last point, the food at the restaurant was lovely but the menu is ridiculously trendy, making it very difficult to choose!! Sadly this stay wasn't great and I was expecting more as I payed for a 3 start hotel....

The decor is somewhat dated & in need of an upgrade. The rooms are functional, but temperature control temperamental & unable to cool below 22’C. Food is basic & uninspiring. The steak house down the road is preferable.
