« Very friendly and helpful people at the hotel, but the hotel is rather tired and the rooms need a makepover. »

Useful stop off point when heading south. Helpful staff is the good news. Not so good news is that the accommodation is very tired - e.g. stains on the carpet in my room; flaking paint on parts of the walls... The restaurant menu could be a bit more interesting...

The room decoration was very "tired". There was a very bad drain smell in the bathroom. The room itself smelt as if there had been a smoker - very stale smell. Linen all okay !

Our room was comfortable but found the hotel generally not to be as good as previous visits. We were particularly disappointed with our evening meal as the kitchen was closed & we were given microwaved instant food.

Great business hotel, very pleasant front desk staff who were extremely helpful and professional. The restaurant meals are nice, limited choice in the evening but very well prepared. Again the restaurant staff in the evening are fantastic. Breakfast is a little limited and not really worth the full price. Rooms are clean and comfortable however the corridor areas are very dated and could do with a little modernization. Tip for travellers, if you are leaving at peak time in the morning and need a taxi book the night before! I could not get a taxi at 830am and ended up waiting until 945 for a colleague from my office to come and pick me up, I was stranded at the hotel!

« I liked the quiet position of the hotel. »

The short stay was very pleasant. I appreciated very much the breakfast. However I think it's time for some parts (bathroom, painting of walls) to be refreshed. I would also like to point out that there is no elevator (even if the hotel only has one floor).

Not feel welcome No free drink voucher as silver Accor hotel member Need to ask for more towels in rooms although I booked for 2 rooms for 3 adults and 2 kids No extra 1 complimentary bottle of water for 2 rooms with 5 guests Tv cable broken (plug head inside tv and wire free), impossible and no wish to fix that at 23h30 at night. No will to repack and move room. Noisy with wedding party or guests preparing wedding , staying and doing making up in the hotel. Monopolized lobby, restrooms, resting chair, Internet corner...coming back and forth to rooms, slam doors...

Really convenient and comfortable. The perfect place to stop en route to our campsite in the south. The bed was really comfortable. My wife had one her best nights sleep in ages, and we’ll use the info provided to replace our mattress.

Both rooms were stained and not well cleaned. One room had no functioning power outlets, called the front desk for assistance - no answer. Eventually found and reset the circuit breaker in the hallway myself. Tried to get dinner in the restaurant, waited 5 minutes and no one came to assist.

Everything went very well. Large room, swimming pool, ping pong table, kind staff, good food. Very quiet. Good location near the highway and great shopping mall. Just a hiccup- no elevator for rooms on second level.

« A pleasant stop-over »

Stopped over on way back to Caen. We've used the hotel a few times now, it 'works' for us, we like the easy access from the peripherique, the secure Car Parking, the Pool for a swim after our travelling, the big Park next door, and the facilities in the Alma Centre also. Reception staff are always obliging, the rooms are functional but always clean and comfortable, and as an Accor Member I find booking directly through the Accor site very straightforward.
