Disappointed with price as I had seen room online at £85 at lunchtime but ...... I shall know better in future! Very pleasant staff in restaurant Very nice room but safe not functioning Biscuits would be nice with coffee or maybe a small orange juice in the fridge?

Really convenient and comfortable. The perfect place to stop en route to our campsite in the south. The bed was really comfortable. My wife had one her best nights sleep in ages, and we’ll use the info provided to replace our mattress.

Both rooms were stained and not well cleaned. One room had no functioning power outlets, called the front desk for assistance - no answer. Eventually found and reset the circuit breaker in the hallway myself. Tried to get dinner in the restaurant, waited 5 minutes and no one came to assist.

Everything went very well. Large room, swimming pool, ping pong table, kind staff, good food. Very quiet. Good location near the highway and great shopping mall. Just a hiccup- no elevator for rooms on second level.

« A pleasant stop-over »

Stopped over on way back to Caen. We've used the hotel a few times now, it 'works' for us, we like the easy access from the peripherique, the secure Car Parking, the Pool for a swim after our travelling, the big Park next door, and the facilities in the Alma Centre also. Reception staff are always obliging, the rooms are functional but always clean and comfortable, and as an Accor Member I find booking directly through the Accor site very straightforward.

« One night transit stay »

I have stayed at this hotel for 6 years - each stay one night whilst on transit on holiday. As you can guess, staying somewhere 6 times means I have been happy.....have been.... This year the experience was nowhere near as good as normal : Checkin - no problem..really helpful (Martin I think) and quick and easy bar - terrible, 4pm and no one around...their social interaction skills were terrible and they visibly mocked when our group asked for a second bottle of wine ! Meal - we had pre-booked based on previous experience. this year the menu had changed to a very basic one, luckily the choices were ok for us and the food was good..but we won't run the risk in future with such a limited menu (3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts) Also, the hotel is, in places, starting to look a little tired Undecided if we stay somewhere else in future

« Very good value for money, family friendly »

Very good level of services for the price: full, varied breakfast, very pleasant patio with swimming pool and playground. An elevator would have been nice for our heavy luggage, but the nice hotel employee helped us lug it upstairs. The children liked the little stuffed animal they received.

We have not stayed at this hotel for about 5 years but it was nice to see the same friendly face on reception and very good he is too! Bizarre that the bar didi not have any gin a vital pre requisite in view of the heat and a burgeonng sector of the spirits market. Stranger still that the cocktail and food menu had gin as a component !
