« comfortable, but a bit bizarre »

We have not stayed at this hotel for about 5 years but it was nice to see the same friendly face on reception and very good he is too! Bizarre that the bar didi not have any gin a vital pre requisite in view of the heat and a burgeonng sector of the spirits market. Stranger still that the cocktail and food menu had gin as a component !

Overnight stay whilst en route to holiday destination. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves traditional dishes with a twist and bar menu has some great choices for nibbles with a drink. Room large and comfortable.

« Great location but this hotel is a bit outdated what is noticeable especially on bathrooms. »

It is great location for business travelers, close to the airport and shopping mall. However, hotel is a bit outdated what is noticeable especially on bathrooms. Even with most expensive rooms, shower experience is disappointing. Also, WC brushes are missing on the toilets (to leave a dirty toilet might embarrassing, despite it will be cleaned).

We are pilots and stayed over night after flying clients in to Rennes Airport. Novotel is a standard hotel for us, overall staff very helpful as the evening manager gave us a late check out due to our late flight departure the following day which was very good of him.

« Convenient, comfortable and good value for money. »

Unfortunately I nearly fell over in the bath when I took a shower, as it was very slippery. The other problem was that the room was quite warm and the air conditioning/heating didn't seem to work. Other than that, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the choice at breakfast was very good. The hotel is very centrally located, so easy to get to the city centre and easy to access the motorway.

Whilst the hotel location was as expected when we arrived on the Sunday the service was poor. Check in staff were not helpful at all and bar and restaurant staff (same person) were miserable. We have stayed in 4 Accor hotels on this visit and Rennes was by far the worst.

« It was okay. »

The breakfast staff was very friendly and attentive. The housekeeping was not very good, they did not replenish the soap and left dirty towels in the room.
