Very nice hotel with good size air conditioned rooms. Convenient location close to the airport with regular, free shuttle between the airport and the hotel. Nice outdoor pool, excellent service and very good food.

I've always enjoyed staying at Novotel properties. This time, it was not the most pleasant of experiences. I had booked three family rooms, and did not receive the same quality rooms as I usually do at Novotel. This was three star quality or below, but definitely not four star. Moreover, the rooms given were in an area where there was a strong smell of dankness. This was raised with the staff, but either they did not understand or were uninterested in taking any action.

Upon arrival, the receptionnists (it was a person with Asian parents and another person, a lady) were not customer oreintated at all and teh guy was even more arrogant - Facts 1. A person was arriving and discussing with the lady. I came in front of your asian person and he told me "Can you wait I have to finish something"... OK. I wait about 3 to 5 min before he was able to start with me..; in the meantime, the lady finished with the other customer and instead of asking me if she can help, she mentions that she will go for her dinner..... You feel eally welcome 2. Reservation was prepaid. Teh asian guy as k me to pay for the tax directly. I explained that I am use to take dinner and that I will pay everything at my departure (tomorrow). He told me that in this case he have to reserve a depoist on my credit card. ... for an platinum customer, this is a nice proof of confidence... and it just create an additionnal stage. In all othe rAccor hotel I do not have to do so. 3. The guy gave em my key mentionning my room number. I asked him if I could have a drink voucher, he said why ?.... I told him that I was platinum and he gave me a voucher. So very warmly welcome .... I explain this to the leader of restaurant who was sorry about situation and kindly offer me dessert. All this explain my dissatisfaction with this stay

« Good for one night stay »

Did not expect that there would be no elevator. Had to carry heavy suitcases to the second floor. Room had some sort of faint smell. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

« Nice small hotel convenient to Geneva airport »

We stayed at the hotel for one night in July prior to flying home from Geneva. Our room on the second floor was adequate and quiet. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool and the large yard around it. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant were very good. The only negative was that some of the staff at the front desk were not very friendly and welcoming, particularly upon our arrival. My husband took the key and went up to the room first while I was still talking with people at the front desk. When I asked the staffperson the room number so I could join him, she gave me the wrong number, so I knocked on that door and disturbed a French family in that room.

we needed airport hotel room before early morning flyte and I looked in front of hotel in my mobile, that there is room in hotel (many, because there was different types of beds). I walked in and said front office person that I need room for two people one night. He said that we are fully booked? He just say so and did not look reservations on pc at all? I was very suprised, because I was looked just 3 minutes before and saw that there is rooms available? I asked that not any room left, NO said officer? I went to my car and booked room in my mobile. Then I walked inside hotel again and said, why you lied to me, you have many rooms available and still the officer said NO rooms. I asked if I could get his name, but he coud not give it to me. I said I take a picture he said he will call police. I did not take a picture, but I wondering what was the officers problem? Do not sell room or was not interesting make money to hotel company? I show my mobile were was rooms and Platinium card and then the officer was quiet and went to pc. It took long time to get room, but then the officer did his work? Not very nice welcoming to Platinium member and end of holiday!

« Don't rely on the shuttle bus »

Arrived at 2210. Phoned hotel a number of times and it was eventually answered at 2215. We asked for the shuttle bus which is advertised as running until 2230 but were told it was finished for the night. We had to get a taxi at a cost of 40 CHF and arrived at the hotel at 2227 (before the shuttle bus should have stopped running). Guy checking us in wasn't very attentive and wanted rid of us ASAP. We had to ask about breakfast and a morning shuttle bus. Our room was adequate but the bin had the previous guests rubbish in it. Breakfast was also adequate but the fruit was poor quality and there was no staff to show us where the buffet was etc. We have stayed at a few Novotels and they have been great but this wasn't to the same standard.
