There was no hot water in the whole hotel upon check in. Only some hours later and I came from a 28h trip. Also the bathrooms are super old! It’s about time to renovate the rooms and bathrooms. The tap in the sink it’s super uncomfortable while brushing the teeth. The curtain in the bath tub looks disgusting.

Arrived at Nice Airport at 21:00 and were looking for a hotel close to the airport to stay for one night. Although not the closest hotel to the airport this fits the bill nicely. It's in a much quieter area than immediately next to the airport and is only a 10 minute car/taxi journey away. Very much a standard Novotel. However, the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We ordered a meal 15mins before the restaurant closed. No complaints from the staff and the food was good.

Stay was okay, as I didn’t expect much, staying for 2 nights only. Disappointed that there was no body lotion provided and hence got rashes due to dry conditions in air conditioning.

Overall I was very disappointed by the experience. We had called ahead to make a reservation for my parents, my husband and myself for two rooms, requesting they would be on a higher floor on the parking lot side of the hotel (because of the extremely loud construction at cap 3000) and that we would prefer the end of the hall to avoid hearing the 5 AM departures from other travelers. When we checked in, somehow all of our requests had disappear and we were given the closest room to the elevator. We were staying for 5 nights and would assume that your interns (I guess the hotel is managed by interns barely speaking english or french) would have taken that component into consideration. We were given another room and specifically asked to note on my parents' reservation to block a room at the end of the hall, on the parking lot side on a higher floor, which were were promised was done ! In our new room, the AC never worked, I guess it gets shut down for winter, to which I would argue that you cannot advertise AC on your amenities if it is only seasonal. Additionally, the fridge did not work and our leftovers room service was bad the next day (over 30 euros down the drain and no one seemed to care or offer some sort of compensation). When the next day, we asked for a new fridge, we were told we had to switch room because no technician was available on weekends. This gets better, as we offered to carry the relative small fridge ourselves from another room (to avoid carrying all of our suitcases again to a new room) and we were told that we were not allowed and that the staff at the hotel would NEVER do that, I guess the intern of the day was too afraid to break a nail... When my parents checked in, they did not get what we all requested (on many occassions) and ended up on the wrong side of the hotel, facing the loud 5AM construction and your check-in interns told us there was nothing on file as far as requests for specific rooms. We asked if the hotel was full, which it was not and asked if they could check when the rooms we would have preferred were checking out, which we were told by another intern, that it was very difficult to do, room check out dates are impossible to find apparently.... At this point this is just a joke, not a four star hotel ! We said we would wait for the new rooms, one for my parents and one for us (remember the tiny fridge that could not be moved ?), we finally got a call in the afternoon to tell us the rooms facing the construction were ready ! Really ?? really ? We calmly tried to explain our 24h predicament and our many unsuccessful request to yet another intern and we ended up with new rooms, where WE had to carry all of our suitcases ourselves as no one ever offered to assist (I am pregnant and my dad has a heart condition). Again I assume that whoever gave a four star rating was either blind, deaf, mute or perhaps a former intern.... I have never experienced anything like this. I am horrified that you treat customers this way and get away with it. Simply unacceptable.

We are still awaiting for corrections to our invoice, which included breakfasts, which we did not take. Very inefficient check out. Hotel is old, corridors and rooms smelly. Only towels and guest supplies for one person. Thai Food in Restaurant was not good. Only reason for staying here is shopping at Cap 3000.

Our receptionists sometimes have to cope with technical problems, which probably in your case made you feel like you were second in line. Please accept my sincere apologies for that. You were not satisfied with the overall condition of the hotel, it is true that our Novotel has aged quite a little. A renovation has been planned for the oncoming years, and I am totally conscious that it won't be dispensable. As for the towels, the second set of towels is under the TV set, but I assume the person that welcomed you on check-in unintentionally omitted to mention it. In case this should happen again, please let us know immediately at the front desk so that we can help you right away. Thanks for your feedback, I will share it with the whole team. This Novotel is perfectively located for shopping at CAP 3000. The accommodations are standard and comfortable. The hotel lacks an attractive bar and a fitness area. The breakfast area is poorly designed leading to a lot of congestion as people have to go to various areas to get food and beverages.

Great, pick up and drop from & to the airport worked seamlessly, and strip of restaurants and bars 5 minutes walk along the coast is great. We didn't try to go into Nice but I think there are good links.

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The rooms were well presented clean and tidy. Our son and his girlfriend had a ground floor room with a pool and garden view. They also had a coffe making machine drinks fridge and a bathrobe and slippers were provided. My husband and I had the adjacent room looking out onto the car park but we didn't have a coffe maker or drinks fridge even though we paid the same price. ? But it didn't spoil our stay.

We stayed here for stopovers three times over a period of two weeks. Staff professional and pleasant. Parking secure. Easy drive to airport, across the street from a shopping mall, and short walk to the beach. Breakfast is good, though the egg-station is a bit strange. You fry your own. Complicated, and we never saw anyone try it. Better would have been a facility to boil eggs (like the hotel had in previous years). Coffee good.Rooms are a good size, but need updating. Toilet separate from the bathroom. In all three rooms we had, each toilet had a distinct smell of urine. This may be because of a lack of cleaning, or because of the design of the toilets. Each toilet had a small cleaning brush next to it, sitting in a cup of liquid. The floors are brown with groves to simulate the look of wood--and subsequently collect liquids. The room is very small and poorly ventilated. In one room on the top floor, the toilet flushed poorly. These design features need to be considered in any future renovation. Fortunately, the windows open so that you can air the room. Overall, the hotel is OK.

We stayed before. It is in a great location, walking distance to train station and all the facilities in St Laurent and Cagnes beach side. However, over the years, it seems the same décor, and had a feeling that this hotel &quot;stood still&quot; if not degraded a bit.
