« Acceptable hotel, needs to improve bathrooms, room's heating and smell. Personnel and kitchen was excellent. »

The rooms are just ok, I liked beds a lot, the size of the rooms is good, and I really liked the towels and linen. However the bathrooms are not comfortable or easy to use. Baths and showers are a bit old and small. Also heaters in the room were not working ok: After having it running for long time it was not able to bring the temperature to a proper value. It is also noisy if you want to have it running while sleeping. Finally there is a very weird smell in the corridors that sometimes is partially present in the rooms. I noticed this was more intense in upper rooms. However the kitchen is really good and the personnel is excellent. Everyone from reception, kitchen, restaurant, cleaning, etc are really good at their job, and they are always willing to help and give good service. A final and less important recommendation would be to have a transfer service to the different offices and places in the area.

« Comfortable but very basic »

Generally I select the Novatel because of location and not anything else. Its easy but could easily do better. Rooms needs refurbishing as they always smell, carpets are dirty. This time I didn't get a bottle of water on one of the days I was there. Breakfast was poor as eggs were always dry as there are not may in the hotel so I assume they are avoiding waste. Positives are staff are friendly and check in/check out is so easy. Food in the restaurant is good especially the ceaser salad this time which was a fantastic portion.

« Very good Personnel but room is not as good as people »

We are Accor customers from many years and we do not post negative feedbacks in external sites. This hotel is nice, quiet, Personnel is very kind. Maintainance is poor anyway. Our room had broken furniture, dirty internal door, heating badly working and too noisy to be left on on night time so we left it off and got a cold. So 10+ to location and people, 4 to room quality.

The receptionist is the temporary gentleman who only go to work for two nights in one week. He said he is not receptionist, but he has done a very good work. He tried his best to handle my check in and fullfil my additional requirement. I was very satisfied with him. Thank you very mcuh.

« Comfortable stay at Novotel Sophia Antipolis »

The hotel was easy to find . It was clean & reasonably modern , wifi was excellent , staff spoke great English meaning I did not need my very bad French. Food service in the dinning room was nice & quick with menus in English as well as French. The food was well prepared. Unusually for a hotel my room was a little cold first night but the next I found the heating control which fixed the issue. It was frosty outside which I guess is rare in this area. The room was well furnished with a good desk & sofa, I heard no noises from other rooms. Mini moan the complementary coffee/milk/water in the room was not replenished on the first day but was the next. All in all I had great stay & look forward to returning in better weather when I could eat on the patio & swim in the outside pool. Many thanks PWebb

Staff were great and the whole ambience was brilliant for a quiet stay. Good facilities for business travelers. Excellent breakfast and had all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay with easy access to cabs as well.

« Pleasant and comfortable stay in your hotel. »

Front desk personnel were receptive and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Quiet location on the 1st floor. Breakfast had a good variety of foods; very appreciated, however, please do something about the 'powdered eggs'. For the quality of the hotel and cost, REAL scrambled eggs would be more appropriate. Overall, lunch and dinner were good. Problem with chicken in caesar salad; seemed like 'processed' slices - not at all the best quality. This is unfortunate because you do so well in other things only to let easily fixable things pull your image down. Dommage!

Staff was OK. A bit impersonal. I am Platinum, but did not feel like it. At the restaurant, if waiters feel grumpy, they should stay home. Some others were great.

This experience was unexpextedly bad. Novotel is normally a very good experience compared to the reasonable prices they offer. This particular hotel suffers bad management or lack of proper supervision. The so called family rooms are extremely small, the breakfast is poor and extremely limited in options plus being not so culturely sensetive. The waiters, at least two, for the breakfast were extremely rude and unwelcoming. When questioned the strange taste of the scrambled egg in a very gentle and discrete way, he jumbed andcsaid it is my problem and my bad taste!! When complained and asked to see the GM, he never cared or never learnt..! Bed sheets were not changes although had stains...when questioned they said they change only every three days..!

The hotel was ideal for the children who stayed with us. Novotels are always very child friendly and our children and now grandchildren have always enjoyed the breakfasts to start the day. The facilities were excellent and for 2 days we stayed around the pool and played tennis and table tennis

« Quiet and peaceful stay, with a very nice team in the hotel and in the restaurant »

Lots of different activities for adults and the kids, i.e. the pool, tennis court, ping pong table, petanque, hiking trails, video games in the lobby, books. The restaurant offers a good menu at affordable prices. The team is always available and smiling. It's very quiet and peaceful. The only suggestion for improvement I would make is to renew the carpeting in the hallways and bedrooms. They are heavily stained, the hallway on the 3rd floor smells quite strongly. I was always looking forward to crossing it quickly.

« Nice and clean hotel, Calm and proffesional service. »

We had a good time at your hotel, the staff was freindly and very proffesional. The room was maybe a bit small for the 4 of us, with clothing among other things. We stayed several days so breakfast good maybe have been changed just a little bit during the week. But otherwise the breakfast was very delicious.

« Batter that you expect »

I've stayed at this hotel before and others in the area. At present I rate this the best mainly because the food is pretty good, well above the average for a Novotel. Service is helpful. Rooms are standard Novotel but perfectly comfortable.
