The Staff were extremely helpful but the hotel is run down and shabby. I took photographs to prove it. I certainly wouldn't stay there again. We have stayed in Reims Tinqueaux and London Excel which are far superior hotels. The carpets were stained and the carpet in the bar was threadbare with place s that you could easily trip over. Paint on ceilings was flaking, even in the dining area, and the space between paving stones by the pool was covered with weeds. Also some tiles were missing and again could be trip hazards. Some lights were faulty. The sink in the room was stained and the bottom of the shower curtain was also stained. I felt it was in really poor condition and didn't present good value for money especially as I used my loyalty card points to pay for it!

the hotel was OK, room was clean. we stayed there on route to eurodisney and chose the hotel due to having a pool and kids play area. the pool looks appealing in the photo but it was the opposite in reality. it was green! so we ended up going out for the afternoon which disappointed the kids

It was marred by disengaged dissatisfied,disinterested staff who were very rarely on hand to help & most often hiding away chatting,avoiding guests! Depressing decor,very dated & grubby Very uninviting pool which we did not use for this reason. Very uninspired & poor quality breakfast. Very over priced,this hotel Was of a standard of a poor quality budget hotel which I would expect to pay £40 a night for. It felt more of a punishment than a pleasure staying at this hotel!i couldn’t wait to leave to get back to the luxury of my own home.

The room was ready for decorating, and the carpet was dirty. At breakfast, the staff showed the French guests to their table, we were left to find our own. I asked a young lady for milk for the cereals, and she said she would fetch some, but She never returned ! Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Adequate. Rooms could do with a fresher feel. Food was great. Staff were very polite and helpful but our room key did not work for the duration of our stay and we had to keep asking staff and o lewell us into th room. No compensation or all alternative room was offered.

Very good quality for the price. We stayed for one night with our young children in the middle of our return trip. Everthing was clean even the common bathroom at the reception. Restaurant quality was good. Children are welcome and safe.

Room was ready when we arrived. Bedroom carpets were dirty and also did not seem vacuumed but on the whole the hotel seemed clean. Good parking and breakfast.

Check in at 1700 had to check if our room was ready. Fortunately it was as we had had along drive . The room key wouldn't work so we had to got and get another one. The safe was locked and I asked reception to open it but no-one came to sort it. The carpets were dirty and stained. The tissue box had only 2 tissues in it and the sanitary bag box was empty. The sink plug didn't work so water poured straight through but we only discovered this late when we got back after having a meal so we just put towels on the floor. The lights on the bathroom mirror didn't work so it was dark in the bathroom One of the plastic cups was cracked so when filled with water it leaked all over the bedside table. In the hot weather there was 1 bottle of water in the room. The. BBC World Service channel was not received. The staff had a very lazy, unfriendly attitude. At breakfast when we were leaving the man in charge looked at us but didn't say goodbye. When we looked outside at breakfast there were several tables that still. had bottles and glassed from the night before and eventually when a girl went to clear them she dropped a bottle which smashed all over the terrace. We always try and stay in Accor hotels in France and I can honestly say this is the worst ever. We will never stay in this hotel again

« Travel stopover- disappointing!! »

Arrived at 7.45 and got keys - they didn't work. Got into room EVENTUALLY to find ceiling missing!! Unable to get in second room therefore ended up in 2 rooms some distance apart!!Carpets in hallway were filthy and room carpets not much better. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was a plus point. Friendly staff and decent food.Breakfast in the morning was a bit haphazard and some of the staff were not as friendly as the previous evening - bad nights sleep? Maybe they used the same beds we had which were somewhat firm!!Not a patch on the Caen Novotel we stayed at 2 weeks prior. Very expensive stay in a poor quality hotel. SPEND SOME MONEY AND CLEAN IT UP!!

On arrival a large coach group (over 100people) also arriving. There was only 1 member of staffing checking guests in, which lead to a very long wait. Meanwhile several members of staffing presumably working at the bar/restaurant were stood around watching this situation and doing nothing to assist. We were not advised that the restaurant would not be able to serve dinner whilst they were serving the large coach group. This is particularly inconvenient when traveling with two small children under the age of 6. Further the air conditioning in the room was not working, and with the hotel being full there were no alternative. The room itself was smelly, dirty and very dated. The pool, should have been nice, however there is considerable damage to the tiles on the steps to the pool and surrounding the pool, making the footing unsafe. Additionally, a very rowdy guest was not following the pool rules, making the pool unsafe for two small children and the hotel staff did nothing to address the situation. This man was obese and jumping into the shallow end creating enormous waves which engulfed the smaller children. This kind of horseplay is not allowed and the hotel should have addressed this.

Room wa comfortable, though a bit dated and shabby (peeling wallpaper in the toilet). Whole hotel really needs renovating. Very touristy feel and restaurant/bar staff were rushed off their feet and service wasn’t brilliant. Nice that there we’re a few things to entertain the children, though not as good as Ibis Styles Tours.

Staff all very friendly. Room quite small for 4 people (family room), a bit in need of a refurb. Good towels & bedding. Shower was ok, ran a bit hot & cold though & didn’t fix in a great position! The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was nice (although everything quickly cleared away at 9.30, even though the restaurant was very full!!). Would stay again.

The staff were welcoming and check in easy. Our room was a bit tired. The bathroom was clean but very much on need of refreshing. The bed squeaked and was a little lumpy. Bat staff were friendly and dinner was enjoyable. The team were happy to assist despite some confusion over the drinks order. Good location and great to have free parking. Overall though the hotel could do with a refresh.

The room was dirty, we wanted to change rooms but the receptionist said they were all the same. Some staff were surly and unhelpful. I had also complsinex to accor sbout lack of advantage of belonging to club accor but have had no reply
