We stay quite often at this hotel and now the ground floor was under reconstruction, which we didn't know and had to go via the first floor steps up and down for the elevator to go th 4th floor.This was not pleasant as my spouse has difficulties to walk stairs. If we would have known before we would not have stayed this time. Also we booked a night extra and this was at an expensive rate!

« The place would have been good 30 years ago »

Difficult to find. The place was clean and woould have been good 30 years ago. It felt that no money had been spent on the place and paintwork was chipped, carpets old. Standards in the real world have moved on

« Stained carpet left me wishing my trip was over. »

Restaurant and checkin service were fine. The staff was professional in general, and some warmer than others when greeting me. However, it was very clear that the room I got was yet to be renovated. A warning at check in would have prepared me for the disgusting carpet and chipped paint. Even better would have been to take the room out of service. Having stayed at a Novotel in Korea, you can imagine how shocked I was. I would never stay here again.

For the price paid the level of accommodation was well below average. The hotel seems dirty starting with all of the carpets in the building.

« Very enjoyable »

The pool was nice and made sure I had fun during the daytime. The bed was comfortable and clean ánd nice looking. The receptionist Mamado was extremely helpful and made sure my entrance went smooth, thank you!

« Diner and breakfast below expectations »

Except the size of the room which is nice, all the rest is below expectations for a Novotel. The carpet/furniture in the room is old. The carte for dinner is very limited, I had to wait 15 min before someone came to take my order. Breakfast overcrowed, food did not follow, tables not available.

« experience was ok but did not exceed my low expectations »

Check in was as usual very efficient. Room was adequate although the hotel in general is old and requires refurbishment. Dinner in the bar was ok although quality of the food could be improved. Breakfast was very poor with much of the already limited selection not available as it had run out and not been replaced.

Refurbished room is better but I was missing a small bottle of water as made available in other ACCOR Hotels. Breakfast: no fresh orange juice. The idea of cooking the eggs ourself is very nice but the hotel should look more regularly if everything is clean.

Checked in OK, plenty of car parking. Pleasant interior. Reception slow to respond, then up to room to find inter-connnecting door with adjacent room unlocked. Changed room so OK. Ate in the restaurant, average food and dis-interested waiting staff.

« Nice room - where is the airconditioning?? »

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but we couldn't sleep at night because there was no airconditioning in the room. Breakfast was great but we had the worst dinner experience - we had to wait 1 hour before someone took our order. When we were finally served the food was cold - the order was wrong - and when I had to go and search for someone to pay - the bill was wrong...

I do expect much more service and quality for 450€ on a 3 night stay. Also, the staff at the bar couldn't speak English and even that I spoke basic french multiple orders were placed wrong. Additionally, a 0,5l beer for 7,50€ is probably also the most expensive beer I had in my life.

« Overheated - No aircon »

The stay was pleasant except for the lack of air conditioning, or any airflow at all. This made the room stifling. Also the iron that I borrowed leaked and the ironing board was one of the small table top ones that are difficult to use. Other than that the hotel was fine with a good restaurant and friendly staff.

« A shame for Accor Group »

First I'd like to mention that the reception staff was very friendly and professional, this part is fully OK. The room was horrible: Renovation Status from the 80s I guess: Carpet dirty and attrited, furniture partly defect (door to fridge was missing), curtain contains dirty and yellowed. Air condition exhaust with black marks (mildew?), but doesn't work anyway. Over 30 TV channels, but not a single one available in german language (it's only your neighbour contry), this is like discrimination. Cleaning workers are shouting to each other before 8 in the morning through the whole corridor (thank you for waking me up in time). Wine Glass at the bar was dirty although it was wet from outside. Right next to the Hotel is the Hôtel Académie ACCOR Résidence & Campus, I really would like to know what they are teaching there... by the way: I'm LeClub Member with Gold Status for some years now, but I haven't seen a comparable Accor Hotel like this.

Great check in. Early check in was very helpful. Quick check out too. Improvement opportunities - 1. Vegetarian options in the restaurant apart from the Fusili Arabiata - The previous vegetarian pasta option with Pistachio to be included back. 2. Complimentary bar coupons may be handed over to regular customers during check in.
