The hotel was very dated and poorly maintained. We booked the hotel based on the accor website description that there would be a minibar/refrigerator in the room in order to keep medicine cold. The hotel room did not have a minibar/refrigerator and we told the front desk, they indicated that this was already more than a year that way. The website as of today still shows minibar in the room description. The front desk staff was not at all accomodating and was rude. The hotel restaurant was poor!

Large comfortable room with a sofa(bed). Location is quite, just outside the village and away from the main road. Restaurant service can be a bit slow

Staff was rude and not helpful. Had a clogged drain which was backing up. Told the staff the evening we arrived and were told we needed to fix it ourselves, they could not help. Had dinner in the restaurant - overpriced and poor service. We would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was lovely, nice pool, good food, but unfortunately, our room wasn't set up for the 4 of us. I had to make the kids pull out beds myself an ask reception twice about getting some extra pillows and towels, of which we didn't get. (luckily we had a couple spare in the car for our onward trip)

We stayed one night as a stop-over on our way back from the Alps to pick up a ferry at Le Havre with our two children and small dog. We chose the hotel because it was conveniently located on our route, dog-friendly and positioned in a national park woodland. We had an evening ferry crossing and planned to spend a relaxing day at the hotel, eat lunch and leave late afternoon. However we were forced to check out at midday with no option of a late check-out and essentially thrown off the hotel site (with no option to use any of the facilities for the day) by an unapologetic reception staff. Breakfast was acceptable, but the evening meal was truly awful with horribly over-cooked fish, boot-leather veal and no vegetarian option. The rooms were ok, but there was no fridge and our sink was blocked. The "spa" facilities were quite nice, if only we had been given an opportunity to use them. The only positive, was the lovely woodland adjacent to the hotel, although the signs warning of hunting hounds and animal traps were somewhat disconcerting. A very poor experience - Never again.

Spa and pool facilities are reserved for in-house guests for security reasons. Concerning your dinner, please be assured that your experience is an exception to our normal practice. The sign of the hotel is broken, apparently for a long time already, so from afare you only see the letters NOVL, the floor of the hotel is not clean a lot of stains everywhere in the room it self a lot of stains on the floor and on the seeling in room number 149, this hotel is definitely not a 4 star rate, in the spa area which we would like to enjoy after a long day climbing is not on standarts, the stuff who is working there are not friendly and I think they are not really knowing how to handle the spa guest, I m very sorry for this message but for me this hotel is way out of standarts it felt like 1985...for me the last time going to novotel in France...

Having stayed many times over the years, The hotel is now run down and looks awful. The evening buffet was poor quality and very over priced compared to other hotels and restaurants in France - flies were on the food and choice was limited. Sad to say I will never stay here again when I have the choice of so many hotels.

Clean comfortable hotel. Family suite very spacious and excellent value. Extensive breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and happy to help. AC was very welcome during heatwave! Very easy to access from autoroute yet quiet rural location.

I've stayed at Novotel, Mercure and Ibis many times. The welcome my wife and I received at this location was appalling. We always check in via the app and never had issues at check in desk usually. Upon arrival to this Novotel, without completing my sentence to say we've already checked-in online and we are early (drove from Netherlands), the hotel clerk proceeded to give an attitude and yell that the room is not ready. I told him that's fine we know the room isn't ready, we've just wanted to check. He continued to tell and then stared at us as if we were unpaid guests. He stared at us as if he wanted to fight after I said he doesn't need to yell. He definitely needs proper client service training. After 3 hours we came back and the same man then apologized and said earlier was difficult. I normally don't give negative feedback but this experience was extremely uncalled for.

We had stayed at the Novotel Fontainebleau Ury before and found it to be a good place for a stopover, we thought we would use it again. However, the hotel seems to have gone downhill. In our room the toilet door wouldn't close properly and the TV didn't work, whilst in the restaurant every dish was exotic with no traditional french food to be had.

I enjoyed stayed nig at the hotel, good room, good WiFi which is a must these days. My only slight issue is the hot water for the bath wasn’t so hot and also the bath took ages to fill. Apart from that excellent stay!
