We enjoyed staying at your hotel but were very disappointed to find out upon checking in that the indoor swimming pool and the sauna were closed for renovation. The main purpose of stay at your hotel was to spend time at the pool Your front desk tried to contact me by phone in advance to inform me about the pool being closed, but unfortunately I missed their call and did not listen the voicemail message they left. They could have sent an email too to make sure I was informed, as I would have changed the date or cancell the reservation

« bit a 4 stars hotel »

We came for the 2nd time at this hotel : old room with stinky carpet. Only one woman was amazing the rest was complaining when we were asking favor as towels as nobody came to do our room the 2nd day. Really sad

« very bad experience »

Due to the fact that there was no room for me during my 3 nights stay, even with a confirmation by reservation with the app, they did everything to give me 3 nights in the same hotel, 3 times different. But the restaurant was terrible, even disgusting. If it is possible, I come never back again.

« Nice weekend »

Nice friendly hotel. Traveling with two young kids the sofa bed was not comfortable.The swimming pool was nice but needs a little bit more maintenance .

Hotel stay was excellent, helpful reception staff, quiet room. Plenty of private parking. However, restaurant overpriced both for food and wine and with limited menu.

« Had to check our felt ill after one night in the room »

Before I go into my rant about the room, the positive the grounds are lovely; they supposedly have amenities at the location which would be good for families. The hotel they are trying to make the best of an old property which in my opinion should be gutted or torn down and rebuilt. For me, the reason I had to check out was due to the odor in the room. It comes from the cleaning product used to cover up the odors in the room and hall from the old dirty carpet and furniture.I admit I am more sensitive to perfume or cheap cover up smells in cleaning products than other people. Upon check in my room was on the first floor, the hallway had a foul smell to it when I opened the door the smell was so strong it made my eyes feel like they were burning, and the smell made it difficult to breathe. I realize this may sound a bit dramatic, but again I am more sensitive to these odors than others. I opened the window to get the smell out; it helped a little the damage was already done. I had one other coworker who had a similar complaint he was also on the first floor. Overall none of us were impressed because of the odor we changed to a new hotel if the smell was not so bad I could have lasted the extra night especially because I prepaid.

« The hotel needs to be remodeld »

The overall look of this hotel is old, have seen better days already. The shower was with little water and the bathroom really was not like a 4* hotel should look like in these days. The carpet smells awful! The breakfast was good and preparing my eggs any style I like by myself with the small pans was fun. The Nesspresso machine inside the room was great.

« Pleasant, quiet hotel »

Welcome drink only for LE CLUB cardholder not for wife. (= cardholder is welcome, wife is not). Indeed, it's written like that in the "conditions générales" but for obvious reasons EVERYWHERE else in the world one receives 2 drinks. The contrary is very rude and impolite. No special attention for platinum members. Service in restaurant very mediocre. Breakfast room too small. Breakfast to NOVOTEL standards. Beautiful surroundings.

« Novotel is a sure value. But it wasn't perfect. »

It's nice to know what expects me when I come to Novotel. I like the certainty of it all. The welcome was very nice. The room was good, nice view, with two beds which were, however, very small. The breakfast staff could not cope with the many people on Sunday. It was as if the locusts had been at the buffet. No hot milk, no jam (!), little cheese, no scrambled egg etc. The evening meal in the restaurant was a ca-ta-stro-phe. One hour after we had sat down, we still didn't have the first course. The staff were most unprofessional. Never again!

Because I stay so many nights in this hotel, it is as my second home, or it should be. Last week was terrible, always something missing in my room ( is usual during the year ), the waiting time in the restaurant was very long due to a group, even I found nothing 1 morning when I took breakfast: empty plates, no place, noisy, ....

« a reaxing long weekend »

rooms are clean, properly maintainedand and have all what you need but are relatvely small. The hotel as a whole is a bit dated. The breafast area is not sized to the number of rooms. during the 4 days we went for breakfast at different times but it was always very croudy. The personell was doing it's best to keep to clean tables and re-fill the buffet as quiclkly as possible but was clearly Under stress. Not a relaxing environment to enjoy breakfast during a long weekend. the actual choice and quality was OK though.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable with lovely views over the gardens. We were a disappointed with the room service menu as there used to be more snacks on it that were reasonably priced and also child friendly.
