It was probably a nice hotel in 90sIt is old and extremely unpleasant Rooms are terribly dated. Carpets, sofa and chairs are very badly stained. Price is very highI would clearly not recommend this hotelThere is no good reason for staying there

Very unpleasant breakfast room. When arriving in our room very unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Good service at reception to change to another room. At the 3rd day our room was not cleaned when arriving in the room at 19 o’clock! Was solved after a call to the reception. Coffee facility in the room very appreciated

« Pleasant and quiet stay »

Very calm and quiet place with beautiful surroundings and nature. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was sufficient (no fresh croissants, although staying in France!). We loved the swimming pool (although we didn't find it in the first place and we read that it was an outside pool).

« Not cosy or warm »

Not greeted nicely in reception. Room was ordinary. Very few english speaking TV channels. Restaurant not in house. And the restaurant was not cosy. Food mediocre, but they only called themself a Cafe.

« Comfortable but in need of TLC »

The hotel was split in two. The building with reception, bedrooms and where the breakfast was served was very tidy and clean, reception staff were friendly, cleaning staff did a great job and the breakfasts were delicious - plenty of choice. Rooms perhaps need a bit of modernising but not really an issue. In the main old house was the restaurant, bar and pool area. The restaurant staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, they weren't busy but service was still slow. The menu was limited and over priced for what you received. Food was ok, parts of our meals were missing and we we weren't informed of this when we ordered and so we left very disappointed. The poor bar man however was rushed off his feet but did his best. Pool area needs updating, changing rooms were as clean as they could be considering how shabby they were. The outside seating area was lovely and the badminton, ping pong etc a nice addition. Really should not be advertising tennis courts though! One court completely out of the use, the surface of the other was gravely, full of moss and holes and the net could not be raised to the correct height. Holes in the fence meant the balls kept going out of court and into the bushes.

Restaurant team members are very good, very professional, while bar team member do lack some, maybe some additional management to guide them? Some issue with the room key, that kept being deactivated several times a day, during our entire stay.

Upgraded to a spacious suite with a large comfortable bed and a sofa bed for the kids. Large bathroom with shower and another separate w/c. Great buffet breakfast with a large selection. Though not convinced the restaurant is operated by Accor Hotels so not reflected in ratings, comment needs to be made - the food was good though portions a little small, very slow service, and constantly buzzed by flies.

Hotel was great and most staff very helpful. Restaurant staff need a bit more training in what 'gluten-free' means! The waiter tried to tell me I couldn't have one dish as it had chicken in it!

« Nice, quiet stay. »

It was a pleasant stay. The staff was all very nice. Property is beautiful. The past-midnight live band or karaoke was unpleasant, but the windows blocked most of the noise. The room was a bit cramped for 4 people. I think breakfast should be included when you book directly on Novotel’s website.

« Disappointing »

Although the location was lovely, and the room very comfortable, we were unable to eat dinner either in the restaurant (full) or room service (cancelled because of thunderstorm.) Also the receptionist spoke so fast in French I was unable to understand much of what she said. She did not offer to speak English.

« Lovely and Relaxing... Aircon needs attention »

Stayed here for a couple of nights before our trip to Disney. We stayed here before and we love the hotel. We did have and issue with the aircon on the first night and we had to moved. Then the next day we had to be moved again because of a power issue but the stuff dealled with quite well and upgraded our room. We will return again and hopefully no issues next time :)
