The room was ok. Clean. Bed comfortable. Big plus for a large TV screen. Bathroom without the cabin causing a lot of water spilled over the floor after the showering. I missed a traditional reception as I was sometimes lost who is doing what from a hotel service perspective. I prefer also to get an option for a paper invoice at the check out and not only via email.

Following a C-section, the Team took care of me. From the booking confirmation call, to the cleaning Lady the first morning, Arafat at the breakfast, the Cook who helped me warm up my food, the Lobby Man who opened the basement door to access thé lift as I couldn't walk up and down the stairs at the entrance, I felt warmly welcome !

Had an enjoyable stay in one of your suites. A few small issues though... 1. Shower often lost water pressure to the point the water completely stopped. 2. Room cleaners not the best - food crumbs still on the floor despite being hoovered. Drink not always replaced in the fridge. Not all the cleaners are friendly, you see them in the coridor and they don'y say anything. I also saw one of the cleaners walking around bare foot, which is very far from professional. 3. A little disappointed with the size of the suite and as the premier room, they really should have a view of the lake and not the car park. 4. Don't understand why the executive rooms have better bathrooms than the suites. Having said this, the staff were pleasant and the food was nice both the times we ate.

It was hottest day in paris and our AC didnot work. We contact the managment several times ,but they didnot do any thing to help us. over all every thing was like a two star hotel. it was nothing like a Novotel.

1. The check in process was overly cumbersome and left me feel somewhat untrusted 2. The temperature of the lobby was excessively warm 3. The TV kept loosing connection about every 30 minutes rendering watching TV useless 4. The room had left over cleanliness issues from the previous guest. 5. The room A/C did not work and I finally got to sleep at 4:30 AM only so have to leave for work at 6:30 6. I checked out early due to the above and was not offered anything as to a reduction of free night etc. 7. When awaiting my taxi a fellow at the desk told me to go ahead and have a water on the house as it was very hot in the lobby awaiting the taxi. As I waited a clerk came outside and accussed me of taking a water without paying. I tried to communicate that everything was taken care of. He persisted and them a lady came outside and accussed me again stating that I was so much as stealing a simple bottle of water. OMG intelligence does not appear to be a prerequisite to work here and the word guest relations is obviously very foreign. I would not suggest anyone with any type of expectation of satisfaction to visit this property. Actually it is quite sad the I was offered nothing than when the lobby exceeded 100 degrees accussed of stealing a simple water.

I stay once every 2 months in this hotel as my office is nearby. But this time was really disappointing. Room 320 is in front of the elevators, so you have noise all the time. Nespresso machine in the room was not working. Shower gives a minimal quantity of water. Breakfast at 7am: no bread, no croissants and one of the 2 coffee machines not working... Staff (except Loic from reception) are not interested in their job nor in the welfare of the customers... The night before I was staying in Novotel Birmingham Airport. It is clear that this Novotel in Créteil is rather the Ibis Styles level...

On arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation works done on the entry of the hotel. Last time I stayed in your hotel it was looking different and the new looks are more functional and inline with current expectations. The airconditioning on the room did not work unfortunately and during my stay it was about 36 degrees outside so that was not very convenient. Overall impression how over was good and according to my expectations. It was again a pleasant stay during my business trip.

I just stayed here once and for one night, but the experience was bad. I was checked-in prior to arrival. The welcome and handing out of key was quick and easy. But thereafter everything was a mess. The restaurant service was very slow and almost not existing, and the same with the service in the bar. Just to pay for the dinner took 20 minutes! It was very difficult to sleep due to a lot of noise from other guests and from the air-con in the nearby room (my own was turned-off due to the noise). Next morning the breakfast was very bad, due to no service, no clean plates, almost no food left (the service was very slow to refill the food stations).And many of the tables was not cleaned from the previous users. Ordering of a taxi took the involvement of 3 persons in the reception (actually there was none at the reception at around 9:00 AM). This hotel does not have the same level of standard as many other Novotels. I will select another hotel next time.

The check in process was absolutely SLOWWWWW !! I had to wait for about 40-45min because at the receiption they were not able to find my booking ! Although I provide booking references, confirmation, confirmation from the hotel on my requested check-in time but it seems all that wasn't enough to grant me the room. Morning next day, the taxis arrangement for people was very messy. We rode into a taxi then we were asked to step out of it. And whenever a taxi was arriving there was a big confusion who should take it and where it's going to. Simply, a table with the guests room number (not destination) would definitely fix this problem.

No staff, decrepit rooms, dirty corridors, broken stairs

There was no one available to help with luggage. There was warning tape blocking the stairs. The sink in the room was clogged. Our view was a parking lot even though the hotel was not at full capacity and a better room could have been given. The room was very old and there was no food or room service available when we tried to order.

I stayed in this hotel twice in two weeks (1st week with booking nr HCTLGMLG, 2nd week with booking nr. HCTLGNLN). The new check-in system with phone and no desk is not guest friendly and it doesn't improve the check-in nor check-out. I want to put my things (ID Card, Gold Member card, booking confirmation) on the desk when I check-in. And at check-out I want to get a print out of the bill, I want to check it and confirm it with my signature instead of just receiving an e-mail. In fact I received a wrong bill per mail and now I need to follow up. This is really a unnecessary hassle. The whole check-in/check-out experience is not good without the desk and just per mobile phone. I also noticed the staff is checking details of my stay on their phone and it takes them ages since they have no overview on the small phone screen. The restaurant in the lobby next to the door is very uninviting and it leaves no space at all for the guests who want to check-in or check-out with their luggage. I see no reason why the restaurant shouldn't be in the breakfast area. The breakfast area was freezing cold the whole first week (CW7). Furthermore the staff is not really friendly. Especially in the 2nd week I was more than disappointed. Already at check-in I asked if I could extend my stay for an additional night because I most likely need to stay 1 night longer. The guy at the check-in (a thin guy with a 3 day beard, can't remember the name) said I should wait until I know for sure that I need to stay one day longer. So the next evening (Tuesday) I went to the front desk where I talked to the same guy to extended one night until Thursday morning. He didn't pay attention and didn't listen and just checked me in again, giving me a new room key, telling me how to log-in to the WiFi and where and when the breakfast was. It turned out the new room key was not for one night longer as the next evening (Wednesday) it wasn't valid. So I went again to the check-in and asked that the renew my room key. The lady at the front desk then said I was ought to check out this morning. So I had to say again that I stay one night longer. She then checked something on her phone and gave me a new key. The next morning (Thursday) I couldn't enter my room after the breakfast. At the front desk where I met another staff member told me I should have checked out on Wednesday already and I can't just stay one night longer and that I need to inform them in advance. I told him the whole story but he didn't understand me and just repeated that I should inform them before I extend my stay. He then asked me to pay a deposit for the extra night befor he can give me a new room key. Since I left my wallet in the room he needed to follow me in the room, then I had to go back to the front desk, pay the deposit and only then I had received a new room key. All of this even though I was checking out of this hotel right afterwards, half an hour later. Now I received twice a bill for the first two nights from Monday to Wednesday but no bill for the extra night from Wednesday to Thursday. Totally and completely incompetent!!! Last but not least, from the comfort, the rooms, the bathroom, the amenities the size of the breakfast buffet this hotel is nothing more than an ibis and never what I expect from a Novotel. I really wonder how this hotel got 4 stars. For what you get it's completely overpriced.
