Heat went out. Bar staff were not very friendly, seemed over worked or too busy to manage. Rooms were clean and as expected.

I used the fast checkout. I got the draft invoice via email noticing that they wrongly charged breakfast every day. I sent an email asking for the correction, and the corresponding invoice for my expenses report. After more than one week and several emails and calls, I am still waiting for the promised invoice...

Hotel looks dated but is otherwise clean. Unfortunately the heating system was broken in one of the coldest weeks ever in cergy and so the rooms were exceptionally cold. The little heaters they provided where not really adequate and too noisy.

« The staff let me down »

The experience on the hotel was no bad, but the staff let me disappointed in more than one occasions: - during check-in, the employee forget to validate my room key - I had to carry my luggage again to the main desk because the room door would not open; - on the afternoon if I asked room service before 07:00 pm, the kitchen could only provide a sandwich to eat - nothing else was available to eat; - during check-out, the employee did not give me the option to verify my bill, so additional meals were charged - during check-out, the employee did not ask me how I wanted to pay - so he process several payments instead of one, which cause me trouble on my company cost report

« Great place if you are visiting ESSEC, but the staff never smiles »

Only one night, part of business trip. It was not possible to control the temperature in the room. I interacted briefly with a few people from the staff and very few would make eye contact or smile. They answered my questions without a problem and were willing to help, I just felt that I was bothering them so I went back to y room and spent as little time as possible at the bar / common areas.

the accommodation was clean, however some important fourniture was not available in the bath room and the room such us body cream, room shoes, extra blanket also the AC was not working all the time.

Service is hit and miss, some staff can be somewhat rude. Trying to order a taxi is stressful and irons in the room would be helpful. breakfast is ok but not great.

« Hugely disappointing for the price »

Stayed Sun-Fri two weeks in a row for a work training course. The bed was comfy and food eaten the restaurant good, but otherwise most aspects were inadequate including: room far too hot - even with window wide open through the night; arrived for my second week to find a bottle of 3/4 finished water in my fridge (gross!); sink didn't drain properly and gave off sewerage smell; taxi's not ordered by reception at time making us late for reservations and increasing the fare; breakfast selection limited for a longer duration stay; key card didn't work two evening in a row on return to the hotel

Clean hotel, nice stay, near town centre, good bed. However, staff was very busy, almost rude, English for some of one lady at the reception was really a problem. When I was checking in, lady at the reception did not ask me at all about my Accor loyalty card (I am Platinum), I had to remind her twice, and my loyalty status was not recognized in any way (no voucher for drinks or room upgrade or anything). Given that I stayed a lot in Ibis where I could stay at a higher standard hotel just to retain the loyalty status, this is a little bit disappointing.

I stayed for 5 nights 21st Jan - 26th Jan and then 28th Jan - 31st Jan. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast had a good number of options to choose from. Nice to have a gym. Points to note: The hotel was very hot and there was no air-conditioning. Check out was very slow - I had an issue with my bill at the end of my second week (another restaurant bill had been added) and the reception staff made me feel like it was my fault. Restaurant - overall good food and service but when my group ate together (15 of us), some people ordered normal fries and some people ordered sweet potato fries. All the meals arrived with sweet potato fries. I had ordered a cheese burger with normal fries and it took about 10 mins to get this sorted out - one of the servers was rude. Then, when I complained that my burger was going cold, it was microwaved without my consent which ruined it.

« Service was good but still hotel is not in a good condition, I wasn't charged properly, gym rules are absurdal »

Cleaning service on a daily basis was proper Carpet and walls are horrible and dirty I wasn't charged properly. In fact T was charged more for the room than we had an agreement with the hotel Can't understand why gym is only open from 8:00-21:00?!! I'm starting work at 8:00 till evening, so the only time to practice for me is 5:00-6:00 in the morning . No one from service is at the fitness room, when door are closed it is quiet -really don't see the reason to kick people off or have this restriction. Because of it I won't choose this hotel again.

« Not my best stay at Novotel »

1. some my colleagues experienced overbooking and had to be relocated in another Hotel - which is not that close to Cergy hence not allowing us to spend time together at the same hotel 2. By check in I did not receive any welcome drink voucher although I mentioned my membership and showed my card. 3. At dinner, I wished to get a free table next to the window, which was refused since the table had a reservation - the table had no signs that it was reserved and I could have dinner, pay and leave while the table still was available.
