We booked a 2+ persons room for two nights. We enquired whether a third person could sleep in the room on the third night. Which was acknowledged. Yet we decided to skip the second night all together. Second night reimbursed and we even got a third towel for the third person taking a shower. Super service!! Unfortunately the restaurant was not open. They serve good food there.

Hotel is well located, rooms are typical of Novotel and clean, staff is friendly, outside of building not too appealing. parking facility is good. Breakfast buffet is good. Restaurants available at walking distance Port Cergy marina on the Oise river

Room was nice but the carpet was in need of replacement. It seemed very worn and had multiple holes, like burns. Bathroom was dark and the shower sprayer was worn out, making a lot of noise due to the excessive leaking while using.

« Poor front desk service »

Not good - front desk staff were unhelpful and their attitude made it seem that they were completely unconcerned with my needs. I had asked to use an iron, and after two hours of waiting I went back to the front desk to ask again. At this point the man working at the front desk told me he just gave the last iron away to the other person, and that it was just "too bad" for me. His "not my problem, its your problem" mentality was what really bothered me.

« Was a pleasant stay, nice location and friendly staff »

The parking was large enough and look secure enough. The reception staff was ready for us and it took minutes to get it all set. During the stay (a short one; just a night), the staff was friendly and discreet. The place was quiet at night, the bar was nice and the bed comfortable. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Marina. the decoration is starting to age a bit and is slightly warned off in places.

« The hotel is a little 'shabby' and for the cost I would expect a higher standard. Also my room smelt of smoke even though the rooms are non-smoking. »

The staff are very friendly, especially the guy who works at the bar and the guy who greets you at breakfast (apologies I can't remember their names). The hotel and rooms really need updating though and I think the room is very expensive for the standard/quality. I only use this hotel because of its location to the office but I would use a different hotel if a better standard of hotel were available in a similar location.

« Generally what I have come to expect from Novotel Cergy Pontoise »

The hotel is satisfactory but nothing special. It is probably one of the best hotels in Cergy but the competition is not great. The rooms are adequate and functional, breakfast is OK but I would like to see more fruit choices and some granola. The hotel has been this way for the last few years and probably is soon in need of some upgrades and modernisation.

« Good hotel in a calm position »

The bread at breakfast wasn't great. My friend likes the pain au cereals but it was pre-sliced before being put out so it was going stale every morning and she didn't enjoy it as normal. I need gluten-free bread and it was great that it was already out every morning at breakfast so I didn't have to wait for it. BUT it is stored frozen and had obviously just been left to defrost rather than being microwaved. Maybe you don't know but it is only partly-cooked so if you don't microwave it, it is quite hard inside. It needs to be microwaved in the packet not only to defrost it but also to finish off the cooking so it is soft inside.
